Services
We provide ongoing health care for patients 18 years and older by appointment. Our excellent patient care is centered around patient compliance and a continuing relationship with your primary care physician. Your physician will set appointments at a frequency that ensures their ability to monitor your medications and any ongoing medical conditions, like high blood pressure or diabetes.
Sometimes unforeseen emergencies occur. And unfortunately, they do not always happen during normal office hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Immediate treatment for minor emergencies and unexpected illnesses is necessary to prevent the development of further, more severe complications. A majority of patients receiving treatment at local emergency rooms do not have true medical emergencies.

Wonderful! I was recently treated for flu like symptoms at Riverview urgent care and though this is not my first visit I always rest knowing that they are going to take care of me. Over the years this facility has proven to be the kind of family oriented place that you always feel welcome and important as if everyone one knows you and cares. I highly recommend this company and it will always be the first place I go for my medical needs. Thank you to all the providers and staff at Riverview keep up the excellent work.

Sheena and Dr. Shepard are awesome. Both listened to everything I had to say and I never felt rushed or like I was ignorant. They took my concerns and treated me in a manner I felt that was positive for my care. Riverview will be my go to moving forward. On a special note: Sheena listened to me about my body. Even though my veins were difficult from dehydration, she trusted my recommendation on which vein to use and not once fought me on it.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIED with my experience. I drove 30 mins to my favorite doctor's office. I have seen Dr. Givens and had nothing but the utmost respect for him and his bedside manner. I was being seen in Urgent Care for respiratory issues. I could not breathe well at all (like the world was dimming around me kind of deal). I was asked to cover my nose by the doctor because she was pregnant (I did have one on however).
She was double masked. Even though I was in respiratory distress, it was explained to me that her safety from possible COVID complications was more important than my ability to breathe. (After she refused to see me). At what point do you become more of a risk to your patient than a help? How was she going to look in my throat or properly care for me?
If you work in Urgent care, it is risky. It was explained to me that you get the same amount of oxygen with a mask on as without one. Clearly not true by the way it was exacerbating my symptom. So disappointed. I feel like I live in upside world. Usually I just put the mask on and call it a day, but when I cant breathe, that is not a protocol that says you care about your patients.

I will never again take any of my family members to an urgent care besides this one. It's out of network with our insurance, but 100% worth it to go here! My 5-year-old daughter had a fantastic visit--the medical professional (not sure if he was a PA or Doc) was extremely kind, let her listen to her own heart beat, and was just phenomenal. And our wait time was less than 10 minutes in the waiting room. An absolutely wonderful urgent care experience!

I have unfortunately had the opportunity to visit here twice in the last 3 weeks and both experiences were superb. I waited less than 20 minutes both times. My visit today involved a lot of pain and a good bit of blood and everyone from the check in to the check out was wonderfully considerate and helpful. Both visits saw me patched up and on my way within an hour. Highly, highly recommend.

I love the staff here so much! I've watched them grow into a wonderful practice since moving locations and getting everything switched over! They all are so welcoming and inviting me like family! When I had to bring my daughter to an appointment, they were so nice and even gave her a doll to help occupy her while I had a procedure done! Dr Given, Dr Sheppard and the whole team are truly wonderful!

After being prescribed various types of allergy medicines without any improvement to the chronic nasal congestion. Only the doctor at Riverview urgent care really listened to me and prescribed me the right medicine that worked perfectly. After 5 months I am still breathing perfectly without any nasal passage way problems. I didn't take note of the doctor's name but he is the most professional and attentive doctor I have ever met. Thank you very much Riverview. I actually give you guys 6 stars out of 5
