Dr. Vendal barely spent any time with me after I had waited over an hour to see her. She seemed rushed and acted annoyed when I asked a question, and just had a crummy bedside manner in general. Nope, didn't like it. Two stars for the nurses and staff, who were pretty nice.

Dr. Saulney is one of the best Doctors I have ever been to. He and his staff were my angels through my whole experience after Mohs surgery to remove a large basal cell carcinoma on lower eyelid. They kept me completely at ease the whole experience. He did a phenomenal reconstruction on my lower eyelid. I am very blessed to have been led to him by my Mohs Surgeon, Dr. Sorace.

Yesterday a technician walked me up to a machine for testing, did not sterilize the machine, and performed the test which involved touching the eyes with an instrument. I assumed the sterilization must happen after each patient is tested. However, when my test was done, he got up and started taking me to an exam room. At that point I stopped him and asked if these machines are sterilized.

He went back and sterilized it. If I hadn't said something, the next patient would have been exposed to whatever I have, and I am now scared that I have contracted who knows what from the previous patient(s). Since no one there was concerned about this and were actually irritated that I mentioned it, I want to at least warn other prospective patients.

This clinic is fantastic! staff was very supportive in getting me the help i was looking for. my appt was with dr. stanciu, and she and the nurses took the time to listen to my health issue and gave me plenty of options for aftercare & follow up instructions. if myself or family need care in the future i come back here!

Dr Saulny and his staff (esp Ashley!) we're wonderful! Very professional and informative. I hardly had any bleeding after my eyelid surgery and it looks great!

Amazing staff. Caring professionals. I simply love everyone that works at Westlake Eye Specialists. Dr. Vendal has been my ophthalmologist for several years now. She has taken great care of me, and my eyes.

The personnel were incredibly efficient and nice to this cantankerous old dude, who probably doesn't deserve it. Really nice. Really efficient. I avoided the field test which I distrust because of the enormous number of false positives which I generate. Thank you all.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place and Dr. Vandal and all their staff. They are so friendly and professional. Dr. Vandal is a "gem"! Just saw Dr. Marshall today for the first time for post op. What a great young doctor. Highly recommend Westlake Eye Specialists.

I have been a patient at Westlake Eye specialist for about four years now. Overall, my experience has been great. Very nice staff and doctors! Although the office may be far from my home, it is worth the trip because of the great service that they provide. I'd recommend anyone with specific eye conditions or just anyone who needs to see an ophthalmologist to come here.

So far so great. I'm having fantastic time with dr Makin and her staff. Everyone has great sense of humor and super courteous and professional because they know exactly what they're doing. Just got my first cataract surgery and I'm scheduled for second in couple of weeks. I follow dr's orders because they worked hard to get their medical licenses.

I know because I was ex-NASA co-op Engineer and I hear and recognize professionals. If you have questions of concerns just ask. They will have accurate answers to calm your stress and anxiety. Confidence comes from knowing and this group knows a lot. Let's just say they are better than most. Thanks bunches for helping me see better.

I had cataract surgery in San Marcos after seeing their new Braunfels office. They messed up my left eye as far as the lens prescription. Now I have to wear a contact because it is way too near sighted. Then I had to go back and do the YAG procedure which cost me additional funds and they nicked my eyelid. When I went back for the check up they wanted more money because they had mis-quoted the price previously and charged me the prior yr price. From dec to Jan, price went up over $300. I refused to pay so they reported me to credit agency!? Not a good place. Go elsewhere!
