I loved loved loved coming here! The staff is efficient, supportive, and very kind! I felt like I was at home every time I came. For majority of my PT, I worked with Lauren. I could tell from the moment I came in that she really cared about her patients. She made sure I had everything I needed to be successful. I also worked with Josh a couple of times, and he really ensured that I was working my hardest.
I cannot believe I only had 10 sessions with them. I felt like I had known them forever! Furthermore, I loved seeing Tracey's smiling face when I walked in. She also built rapport with the patients that came in, which is incredible. She was much a part of the process as the actual trainers. I also loved that she called the day before we had an appointment! It really helped forgetful people like myself :! I loved my whole experience! I highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about the Nix Physical Therapy Outpatient Clinic. It was nothing I expected. I thought therapy meant pain, but it did not. Laura isolated my injury (hamstring) and convinced me not to be afraid of my pain and exercise (lightly) the problem area. Basically, I went into the clinic on crutches on my first day and walked out.
I continued with the therapy and strengthened my leg daily while reducing the pain. During treatments, Laura kept me engaged, explaining what was going on with my injury and simply talking to me about anything and everything. It made every visit enjoyable. I also was able to watch her other patients improve as they had appointments on the heels of mine. If you are in any kind of pain, I highly recommend Nix Physical Therapy.

Lauren Burns and Stay Hoyt are outstanding physical therapist. They provide their patients with easy to follow therapeutic exercises and information on injury care and prevention to ensure optimal recovery results. Their compassion and professionalism is second to none, my experience with them has been terrific!

I have been volunteering with the Physical Therapy department at Nix Alamo Heights and my experience with the therapists has been fantastic! Both therapists, Lauren Burns and Stacy Hoyt, have been extremely caring, they are very helpful with educating me on the anatomy and physiology behind various therapeutic exercises, as well as the development of a physical therapy clinic. Lauren and Stacey are also very compassionate with patients and create a comfortable atmosphere for all. As an undergraduate student, I am very grateful for their guidance and patience with me as I continue my educational journey to becoming a physical therapist!

I was referred to physical therapy at this Nix location by my doctor for chronic lower back pain that I have dealt on and off with for several years now due to an old injury. Up until recently the pain was at an all time high and I couldn't find any ways to alleviate it. I met with Lauren at my first appointment for my assessment and not only was she was very thorough but so nice as well.
I continued my therapy twice a week with her for about 3- 4 weeks and each visit I began to feel better and better. By the second and third visit I could feel the pain begin to dissipate and I slowly gained mobility again. I can not thank everyone at Nix Physical Therapy enough for being so welcoming and for treating my injury including Monica at the front desk, the students who shadowed throughout my treatment, and especially Lauren. It has been over a month since I have seen Lauren and still no pain. I highly recommend Nix Physical Therapy to anyone and everyone!
