I came here after falling down my stairs. So embarrassing. But they treated me amazingly. I've also been to the MoPac location here in Austin. Truly the best urgent care provider I've ever visited, hands down. No bs. They seem like they care. They just feel like comfortable doc--I don't know what else to say.

Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor were absolutely great. Strongly recommend Texas MedClinic

Went in for a sinus infection yesterday, knowing thay I am prone to them so I knew the signs and needed to get some antibiotics to get ahead of it. The front desk receptionist was kind, however I was bombarded by another receptionist before being allowed to see the Dr claiming I had a debt I owed. She showed me the paper and the amount owed. The date of the fee was from 10 years ago.

I explained I was a minor still in high school at the time brought in by a parent. She rudely told me this was my debt because I was 17 and it will be held against me. I was then allowed to see the Dr, who was kind, yet did not believe my illness was a sinus infection. She listened to my lungs, said they were clear and sounded well, but then claimed I had a viral respiratory infection.

She did not run any tests and said I sounded fine, so I do not understand how she came to this consensus. She prescribed me cough medicine and two days rest and to call if I had any concerns. When I went out into the lobby to check out I was standing at the counter quietly texting on my phone and the woman who bombarded me before snapped at me, "sit down she's busy!" Absolutely rattled me because I was not doing anything to disturb anyone.

The next day (today) I woke up with a sharp pain under my left eye and in my top teeth on the left side. I looked up what this pain is, and sure enough it's a side affect of a sinus infection. I called the clinic and spoke with a receptionist and explained what was going on and that I would like to speak with the Dr I saw so I could get the proper antibiotics.

She told me she would leave a message for the Dr and call me back. It's been an entire day and I have not received a call back, and I am still in pain. Do NOT go to this clinic. They don't know what they are doing and they are very rude.

Great place to get medical attention, especially when you need after hours. Thank you for staying open after hours for patients like me.

Thank you to the friendly staff at Texas Med Clinic. Thank you for treating me with dignity even though I had the contagious sickness of Covid, you made me feel like there was no judgment just a helping hand. For that I am truly grateful for the care Priscilla B. & Dr. Glenda Peters gave me. The doctor also helped me get a refill on one of my meds so I wouldn't have to go to PCP until I am over COVID.

I recommend their services to all whom are unable to get in with PCP or just need an urgent care matter. Website is user friendly and they send you a text when to come inside clinic if you prefer to stay in car. Thanks again to all the staff.

Worst urgent care I have ever been to, hands down. They won't even see you! Let's start with the process, they have you make an appointment online, fill out all of these forms, and make you wait at home for 2 hours saying they'll text you when they're ready to see you. So after waiting 2 hours at home, with a fever, I finally get the text, go in - and not only do I get attitude over my health insurance, and that they're going to charge me out of pocket, but they ALSO inform me I'll be waiting ANOTHER 2 hours in their waiting room. THEIR EMPTY WAITING ROOM. Garbage. Will never go back.

Dr. Chamberlain and his entire team are some of the most kind hearted, smart and friendliest people I've met. I spent a few hours at the clinic the other night, and everyone made me feel so at home. The hospitality I received and comfort care was 10/10. Shamika, Megan and Ana were all so compassionate. The women and Dr. Chamberlain answered all of my questions without making me feel like I had too many (I did ask a lot).

I really did appreciate their care and services that night. They do their do diligence before prescribing meds, and make sure it's the best and safest option for you. If I ever need to go to the clinic again they'll be my first choice. Don't hesitate to come to this location and ask for those 4 people! You won't be disappointed.

This is my go-to urgent care center. And I have had to use it twice lately during a particularly clumsy phase! Each time the wait has been very reasonable both with early check-in and without. The front desk staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and the MAs are very professional and friendly. I have been seen by a physician each visit, and that makes me more comfortable about the care I receive.

I came here 30 minutes before closing for a large laceration and was treated promptly and avoided a long, expensive ER visit. And the return for staple removal was so quick and painless. Thank you, Dr Amy Hauck

Landed myself at Texas MedClinic with what turned out to be a broken arm. I was able to join the waitlist and check in remotely, which is a huge relief when you find yourself in a bad situation. Upon arrival, the staff was attentive and gentle cleaning my wounds. They listened to my story and checked out every bump and bruise thoroughly. The price, convenience, and quality of care are hard to beat.

I went here last night and had an excellent experience. I forget the name of my doctor, but she was very kind and helpful. She recommended I go to the Emergency Room and even refunded my copay because she couldn't help me! 10/10 recommend

Sara, Glida, and PA Robbie Locklear were awesome! :) My wife and I brought our daughter in to their clinic to remove a splinter. The guidance we received from start to finish was spot-on. I came to this urgent care at 9pm due to chest pain and had a wonderful experience. I was able to see estimated wait times, check in, and enter all my insurance information all online and basically walk in and get seen. The doctor was extremely helpful, professional, and understanding and all the nurses were as well. I especially appreciate how they all let you know what they are doing before they do it so you feel extra aware and calm. I would 100% return!

Made an appointment online and waited about 20 minutes after(no biggie). My son had an accident with his lip and DR. Chapa was super nice and friendly and made my son feel very comfortable. Everything was pretty quick and easy. Thankful for the beautiful check in lady too! She greeted me as I walked in and let me know when to return to remove the stitches. Def recommend this place! (:

The facility is nice, and the staff is very friendly. I have been twice and would definitely choose this location again should the need arise. There is a kiosk for super easy and quick check in. Healthcare is short staffed everywhere right now but these guys are killing it (figuratively, of course).

30th Jan 2022, My daughter had some mild asthmatic symptoms and we had a walk-in at this urgent care. We were given a wait period of 2:30 hrs. We waited in the lobby, while my daughter clearly felt uncomfortable the entire period. We went to the front desk and told them that she might need a nebulizer treatment. The person at the desk expressed no urgency of any kind.

We were told that there is only one doctor in the clinic so we would have to wait until our turn comes. We waited and were finally called in by a nurse (named Cynthia). Only one guardian was allowed so I went in with my toddler. The nurse measured the blood pressure twice before giving up. Then she measured the temperature and then she left abruptly.

She was supposed to measure the oxygen level so after waiting for 2-3 minutes, I enquired about her. Meanwhile, my daughter's health worsened. The doctor came in and she started checking my daughter with the stethoscope. While doing so, she said that the "Oxygen level is 99%". I told her that the oxygen level is not measured yet, but the nurse never measured it.

She said that but its written here 99%. After some seconds she said that "it doesn't matter '' take your daughter to the ER. We were stunned. We asked her to give nebulizer treatment to which she said that according to corporate policy in Covid, they can't give nebulizer treatment. We literally can't believe that this fact was hidden from us till that moment.

On their website this clinic advertises that for Upper respiratory symptoms, they are the best place to care. and here we are. the nurse writing 99% O2 for someone who had asthmatic congestion. The doctor telling us about the unavailability of nebulizer was the ultimate breaking point for us. What a sham! What a farce this place is! These guys are not just liars, they don't care about your well being. They can write whatever they want to write on the report. PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE!

Their hours show they close at 11pm. I arrived at 10:15 with difficulty swallowing and chest pain that woke me up and had me go in. However, their system was showing a wait time past 11pm (it predicted a wait time of 11:07). They turned me away. I told my husband if something serious happens to me to go back and sue for negligence. One would think they've taken a medical oath to ensure health and safety of their patients. Oh well. Terrible policy. Don't trust their "close" time and stay safe out there!

Wonderful gem to have in the area. My family and I have visited the clinic in both 2019 and 2021 and their professionalism and high quality care continues to shine. Thankful for their services and will continue to utilize in the future!

This place is so incredibly slow. Like amazingly inefficient and slow. The entire purpose of the smaller clinic is to be seen more quickly but you would be way better off just spending the time driving further away to a better hospital and/or medical clinic. Staff is rude and unhelpful, and they seem seriously understaffed. I would only come to this place if I literally got shot in the parking lot, and even then I'm sure they'd quote me a 2 hour wait.

They have no equipment or resources at this location. It's like being seen in an office cubicle by someone that has basic medical training and a stethoscope. Don't pay money and waste time to come here and probably get no help and the wrong diagnosis. I have included a photo of the waiting room where nobody is waiting except me, for my appointment that was made over 24 hours ago, for a Covid "rapid" test.

I have been told that I am the only one in line, there is not anyone ahead of me that is waiting outside or in their car. Someone just walked in asking for a Covid "rapid" test and was quoted an hour wait. If you're looking to do a walk in, look elsewhere.

We have visited this clinic many times when we are in a pinch & can't get in to see our pediatrician. Today we went in because my daughter injured her foot & I figured it would be a waste of time & that they would tell us we'd need to see a podiatrist. We arrived & they estimated around a 45mins wait. After we completed check-in, they called us much to my surprise - we probably only waited 15mins.

The doc was also quite prompt. He was very funny & had a great manner which put my daughter at ease over the little procedure he needed to do to relieve pressure in her toe. The whole visit took all of 30mins, we were in & out, with an rx & my daughters foot feeling 100% better. Later we learned that her doc actually went to school at UT with her uncle!

Small world indeed. Every single doctor we have seen here has been great. I always appreciate how thorough the doctors have been, I've never felt rushed & appreciate that they are patient with my questions & great with my kids. We have been coming to this location for several years, with 3 kids it's our go to place when something comes up & we have never had a bad experience. Highly recommended. Thank you Dr Rylander!

One week after my visit, I was having an emergency, late night, life saving surgery. Their missed diagnosis was absolutely inexcusable. It shakes me to my core to know what danger they put me in by not doing one very simple, routine test.

This place is plain trash. along with the staff. please do not waste your time coming here! i knew as a walk in there was a wait time. i filled out my forms, waited for about 2 hours and 45 minutes. it wasnt until i was admitted to a room that they told me my insurance is an out of network. mind this, i had an injury and was in a lot of pain. they could have told me this as soon as i filled out my form but failed to. they knew i was in the waiting area the whole time. there is no excuse. i also witnessed an incident where a patient was treated unfairly. as a healthcare worker patient care should be important. these people are not mindful of you, they treat you like nothing instead of a patient.

They were amazing here! I went in this morning because my kitten scratched my eyeball. At first they said it was going to be 3 hours for a wait but after realizing the severity of my pain they got me right in. I was so thankful. Thank you Texas MedClinic! Feeling much better now!

It's fantastic customer service and the waiting time was not that bad, the doctor gave me good advices, I recommend to my friends and family

I cut my finger really badly doing yard work and went here to get treated. They were so nice and friendly and saw me right away. They didn't take my insurance but still took me back to help and worked with me to get taken care of. I am so appreciative of everyone there and can't thank them enough!

Great experience.everyone is very professional and friendly; and they scheduled me on very short notice. The Dr. was very thorough.took his time; and answered any and all questions for me. Highly recommend!

Texas Med Clinic will lie to your face. I asked them to confirm they accepted my insurance before agreeing to treatment. They did, took my info and entered it and promised that they did in fact take Cigna insurance. Then months later I get an inflated bill. I called to let them know it should be a co-pay. They said they were wrong about accepting my insurance and it was my responsibility to contact my insurance before treatment.

So it's basically a scam. They tell you you're covered then hit you with a huge surprise bill, and threaten you with collection if you don't pay it. I payed their scam bill. Be warned. DO NOT TRUST YOUR HEALTH WITH THESE UNSCRUPULOUS SCAM ARTISTS. They got me. Don't let it happen to you.
