Attended this place for 12 years, they told me I had Bipolar 1 disorder. Put me on every antipsychotic in the books throughout the years. The antipsychotics made me worse. They ended up doing 14 sessions of Electroconvulsive therapy on me, that messed my mind up really bad. After not being listened to and basically being used as a guinea pig for 12 years. I left.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. After calling the office on Wednesday at 2pm about medication issues (increased BP and severe feet/ankle swelling), I still had not heard back from the office 24 hours later. After multiple calls, I was finally able to get ahold of someone at the office. The lady I spoke with was very rude and inconsiderate (she told me there was nothing she could do, and I would just have to handle the issue as I felt was best).

I asked to schedule an appointment immediately as I was told not to abruptly stop the medication. The first appointment available isn't until 6 days later. This time I was told to completely stop the medication until I am able to see the doctor.

Apparently, they turn you away if you're a little late for your initial appointment, even though the referral concern is ADHD/anxiety/depression. This makes no sense.

I really like my providers here, but calling every month to remind someone to send my script to the pharmacy is getting really old. My insurance requires a monthly authorization, so the office has to go through them. And of course when I call, they say they have to contact them because they haven't yet. I keep thinking that it's just a "fluke" every time, but apparently I have to call a week in advance so I don't run out of my controlled script for 1-2 weeks. I shouldn't have to do this, especially with a controlled substance.

Dr. Voltan, If I ever see you again, I hope it's in a position in which our roles are reversed. I hope you are sitting there in need of my help, desperate, looking for someone with the knowledge and expertise to help you through one of your most difficult and trying times of your life. I hope in that instance I am able to help, because if I can I will.

I will not take that opportunity to look down at you as you did to me today, I will do everything in my power to be useful and helpful. In my life I will never take a hippocratic oath but I pray that in that position I will be a better man than you were today and do everything I can in my power to be useful. I doubt you ever read this review or if you do that you will ever even remember my name, but if by some chance you do, your position is to HELP people at their most vulnerable. I started this out as a scathing review but taking time to reflect I thought it better to wish that I our roles were reversed so that I could show you by example.

I've been seeing Dr Voltin a little less than 10 years. He has been great! Maybe even saved my life, considering how I felt the day I walked into his office. Great staff as well! Haven't had a single issue with Psycare the entire time. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Saw Dr. Wehrle for PTSD after a pretty bad car accident I was in. It took me a long time to even drive myself after it. Now I can, but I get panic attacks during certain situations. I waited to be seen for almost an hour, and spent no more than 5 minutes with her. She was dismissive and rude, and quite frankly didn't seem to care at all. She did not help me with my issue one bit.

I have been going to this establishment for several years now. I really admire that Dr. Russ Voltin is always prompt and on schedule and treats me as if I have a life other than waiting to see doctors. He noticed on my very first visit that I have a need for the medication Klonopin. It was winter and I was pouring sweat from my nerves being bad. My previous Dr. (Robert C Byrd behavioral health) had accused me of abusing Klonopin because I called in for a refill too soon.

They dismissed me without even any meds to taper off. I had been taking Klonopin since I was 25 and I was about 38 when I was accused of abusing it. I don't need it all the time, just when i have a panic attack. I shake both inside and out and sweat profusely when I have an attack and it is the only thing that has ever stopped these symptoms. I also take an antidepressant and abilify which boosts the other meds I take.

I am Bipolar type II and suffer from severe depression. I also have agoraphobia when I am in a crowded place even if that place is my doctor's office. Suicide also runs pretty rampant in my family. Dr. Voltin listens to my concerns and if necessary he will set me up with a therapist. Currently I am stable and just go in for Med checks. I've seen several reviews about the staff being rude, however they have always been friendly and courteous to me.

Dr. Dreyer is an amazing psychologist. I'm so lucky to have found him. I've been seeing him for over a decade and at first I didn't want to talk at all, and he just let me sit there. He didn't force conversation or anything. I think that was important. Now I ramble about everything. I feel sorry for him sometimes during our sessions lol. He's a good person. Dr. Dan has helped as well.

Two completely different personalities but the combination I believe was key in getting me through some tough times. I'm grateful to them. Office staff is always welcoming and kind.

First time going to this office for a psychiatrist, saw Amy Wehrle, she was very rude, inconsiderate and thinks she knows it all. I've previously been diagnosed with panic attacks, major depressive disorder and PTSD. My previous Dr had me on 2 mg of xanax a day and she says no one can need more than 1 xanax every 2-3 weeks so take my last 3 expired ones over the next mo.

Obviously she has a perfect life and thinks everyone else should too. No medication for me for panic attacks and I let her know should anything happen to me she's gonna be held responsible for not taking time to listen or care. Very disappointed with her, she has no reason being a psychiatrist!

It would not be fair for me to leave a 1 star review due to the fact that my only experience with this facility was the initial phone call. It took a lot for me to reach the point that I was ready to call and make an appointment to see a mental health specialist. The receptionist was nice enough. I asked if they were accepting new patients and she asked about what insurance I had to which she said they accepted and then forwarded me to the intake coordinator, Annette.

Keep in mind that I am dealing with some intense anxiety and am just looking to get in the door. From the moment she answered her tone was rude and it seemed like I was bothering her. I said I'd like an appointment, please. She said what do you wanna be seen for? To which I replied depression and anxiety mainly. And in an annoyed tone she responded no.like medication or therapy?

This threw me for a loop because I just wanted a consultation to determine if medication was necessary.so I responded umm I guess medication.maybe both? And she was like okay what's your insurance.to which I responded BC/BS.(remember every word she's saying is dripping with impatience and clearly couldn't care less that there's a human on the other end of the line) and she says very annoyed "need the information off the card".at this point I can't believe the lack of bedside manner for a person who is in charge of getting psychologically unstable people in the door and I get choked up and tell her actually I'll call back later.

I was about to start crying (again, anxiety) and I couldn't deal with her. If anyone sees this that works with her, please just remind her that it takes a lot for some people to make that phone call and regardless of if I've interrupted something by calling, you should treat people with respect and act like you care even a little bit. Thanks.

This place fails to keep their word. As of last week, I called on Monday and was told that I would hear back by the weeks end for an appointment for intake that would be two weeks out. Nothing! By Friday, I emailed about this and have heard nothing. I am a behavioral health professional myself so I understand time frames and their importance. This is ridiculous. I am thoroughly annoyed and no longer interested in obtaining treatment at this facility.

I have been going to this office for many years now and have had a wonderful experience with the Doctors and my Therapist. When I first started to see Dr. Voltin I was spiraling down word fast and he got me stable to were I can live life again. Christi Florez has helped me with a lot of break through's. The only bad thing to say is that if it wasn't for the fact that the Doctors and Therapists have brought me so far I would have left along time ago.

The staff is rude and inconsiderate and incompetent at their jobs. They are no help what so ever. It used to be worse and it has gotten better with some new staff, but they really need to work on it, but please wait to see the Doctor's before you judge it by the staff. I am only giving it 4 stars because of the staff issue.
