In 1962, an ad hoc committee was loosely formed to determine the interests in the community for health care. This first committee quickly grew into a more formal group called the Hospital Study Committee. This group worked to begin the fundraising for the new hospital. The board determined that the 12 directors on the board must be a good representation of every town in Phelps County.

Haussler most worthless Dr ever when ignoring my mother in laws medical symptoms as she began falling several times a week. Finally got him to do MRI in Early September never heard anything so figured everything was ok with it, till several more falls, finally went to different Dr and my September MRI showed severe stenosis of the spinal column. I was ABSOLUTELY A POLLED. HES SO LUCKY SHE DIDNT BREAK ANYTHING AS THE RESULTS OF HER FALLS

I went into the ER as I was having sever toothache pain and needed to try and get some better pain pills than what my Dentist gave me last Monday. I have a Appointment to see a Oral Surgeon on Tuesday. Anyway I only have a few left and the Dentist Office was closed on Friday ( I didn't know they would be closed). The Doctor in charge was rude and seamed to treat me like I was homeless or something, he kept telling me that he wasn't going to refill my prescription even raising his voice several times.
I showed him the prescription that my Dentist gave me and he flat out told me he wouldn't even give me anything close to that strong even IF he was to give me a prescription. The Nurses weren't much better, rude and uncaring. But they sure made sure to get my information to bill me for the services ( what services?). I gave them my Military ID for billing and was told I should have gone to the VA Hospital instead of coming there. How Rude!

Billing Contact needs revamped! We always pay our bills and are not behind. We do NOT need to receive daily phone calls to set up payment. Send me the bill and it will be paid promptly, phone calls are NOT the way to handle this. It sure looks like for a non-profit you have too much money, try lowering the fees. The building is nice and personnel are wonderful. Please tell billing to not call me.

Front desk was rude and not at all helpful. Our grandmother is passing from an aggressive form of cancer. The ladies at the front desk would not allow the entire family to say our goodbyes very easily. We were to enter in only small groups - I could partially understand this with Corona virus - but they allowed a gentleman that apparently works here to walk in without a mask. Ummm.? Cool.
