My son has been coming to pediatric place since he was born. I have nothing but good things to say about Pediatric Place. The staff is friendly and nice. Their hours are so convenient and have a patient portal! I've always been able to be seen same day if needed. I've hardly ever had to wait an unreasonable amount of time on the phone. Highly recommend Pediatric Place.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO Pediatric Place in Pasadena! They used to be amazing not any more! Called last Wednesday 02/26 to schedule a appointment for my daughter who has been having occasional chest pains! It was scheduled for today 03/02 @3PM Arrive early today at 2:30PM they tell me they have no record of a appointment for my daughter. Then after 5 mins they tell me her appointment was actually at 2PM not 3PM and they can not see her.

So they go from no appointment to the appointment was at 2PM. Take off work/Took her out of school early to be told this! They used to be great but went down hill the past year!

Really. I have never heard that doctor book appointment for children every 10 minutes. We only late 6 minutes and called in wait another 6 minutes for response. Then we have to wait for next 2 appointments ahead of us. Usually you come and you have to wait 10-15 minutes already. I thought I found my new place. I have to reconsider.

I have been taking my child here since birth. Love Dr. Schaeffer and the staff. My child is extremely terrified of needles, but the nurses there are very patient. I'm extremely picky and will leave when I am not satisfied. I've never have thought of taking me child elsewhere.

This is a great place for a child, the practice administrator has been in the business for a long time and she really knows how to lead a team. The receptionists are pleasant and kind, the nurses gentle, and the doctors are caring and knowledgeable.

Always came here for my daughter and started bringing my son once he was born. Had a few questionable expiriences but have decided to cut all ties after being ignored now twice for concerns I've had. First from 5 weeks to 3 months my son had rashes on his face and body. His behavior changed dramatically around 7 weeks when it got worse.not sleeping, fussy, scratching this face.went in for 2 appointments for it just to be told by Krista Mintz that "it doesn't bother him and I'm just upset I can't take cute pictures of him because of his skin".

How unbelievable rude and inconsiderate of her. Went to Anne Arundel dermatology and got him a prescription for hydrocortisone and his skin was clear in 2-3 days and he was back to being a relaxed happy sleeping baby. Didn't change then but after asking 3 times about my sons head shape. I was concerned about a flat side. I was told nothing is wrong and he's fine. Instincts told me to get a second opinion before he's too old for treatment and we went to Cranial technologies and he was rated as a moderate to severe case of placiocephaly.

Wish I had trusted my instincts sooner and went when he was 2-3 months instead of him being over 5 months now. Wouldn't come back due to practitioners having low interest in your child's well being.

I am shocked by the ratings I see here! I feel bad that I have not written this earlier. I have been taking my two daughters here since they were months old and they are now almost 13 and we have always had the best of experiences here! With all of the providers and staff. The office does get a little busy sometimes, but we have been greeted by the front desk, in processed quickly and seen very quickly even on the shortest of notice.

They have great hours and now have the walk-in hours which are great when you wake up with a sick child. The "after hours" billing is I think standard insurance practice these days but getting continuity of care with your regular Doctor is huge for me. Very rarely have we had to go to "Urgent Care" facility because they have great hours. Given how long this office has been in business everyone needs to take note the numbers here. This is a great Doctors office in my opinion and based on my experience with my two daughters; one who is special needs.

The best Doctors office ever! My Mom used to send me and my Brothers there and now I am sending all of my children. I trust this office 100% with any and all decisions when it comes to my children.

I find it very unprofessional to call someone at 8am to ask why we are leaving the practice. After i expressed that i felt it was unprofessional to call and ask that i was then told "well we won't send over your child's records to the new doctors until you pay for them." Well ok, that's fine but I do think there could have been a different approach.

Mind you we haven't stepped foot in this place in 5 1/2 years and even back then the staff was very rude. And yet here you are wondering why people are leaving. Edited to add: I've now been informed by a friend that when records go from doctor to doctor there is not a charge. I never called them and asked for any records so there should not be a charge.

I have always had a great experience here since my son was born but this past Monday (6/6/18), we saw a different Dr than my son normally see and Krystina Mints was the most condescending and pretentious person I have ever had to Professionally deal with. And to top off the worst appointment ever She had the audacity to loudly sigh as she was leaving the room. If I ever have to see her again I will not be returning.

BEWARE! Had an appointment this morning and was berated for going to an specialist for my daughters anxiety and ADHD. This is the last straw with them! Who wouldn't get a second opinion let alone see a specialist. Bye pediatric place

Peds Place has taken care of both of my daughters for 6years total. We have always had great service and care from the providers. Dr. Duvedi went above and beyond this past week when one of my daughters had a fever. She stayed after closing time, called us for routine checkups, and even called me on a Saturday from her personal cellphone to give us lab results and to check on our daughter. Corporate owned hospitals will never do this and this is the reason I will always take my kids to this private practice. Thanks everyone at Peds Place!

I've been going there for 16 years. While I'm working to get a primary as an adult, they still see me. They also went above and beyond for Me today. Crystal, a secretary was beyond patient and understanding when i talked to her about the situation. She wrote it all down to tell the doctor, the doctor called me back within 15 mins and they got me in to see her the same day.

And stated until i can see the specialist i need i can come to her for anything. It's just great and comforting to have that kindness and support given to me. Have never had a bad experience with them but today they really showed they're comitted to their patients!

Always helpful and able to get appointments when needed. Of course there may be a bit of a wait during "high illness" seasons and around Sports physical time. Remember you simply can't schedule your child's illness and neither can this Dr.'s office. They do make provisions to fit as many in as they can. My daughter has been going here for many years and now she can take herself.

They will follow her until she is 21 for general illness, and they know her so that's a huge benefit. She feels very comfortable with the providers and has been seeing Erin for her past few visits and it's good that she has formed a positive provider pt relationship.

My opinion is that this is a great place to take your child. We have seen Erin three times for my newborn son during the holidays. My wife and I both think that Erin is excellent. She sounds knowledgeable, is very gentle with our son, and she patiently welcomes questions. I forget the name of the doctor that did our tour, but her kind personality was similar to Erin's.

The facility is kid-friendly. All the ladies at the desk are nice and organized too. It is generally easy to get an appointment and they do have hotline outside of operating hours. My wait for this office was less than I am used to with other doctor offices.

Do not take your child here! The staff are rude and absent minded. I have felt like we were "forgotten" on more than one occasion, and have even been turned away because of their scheduling issues.

I would not recommend this office to anyone. They are disrespectful and rude. They had no patience with my daughter and I will never go back. I could even hear the nurse practitioner talking about us to the nurse. Take your children somewhere else!

STAY AWAY! Pediatric Place came highly recommended from a friend but from the first time I called the office, it was a bad experience. First time I called to make an appointment the person who answered was ANYTHING but friendly and helpful. Despite that, I decided to stick with it and once again, I called yesterday to see if flu shots were available and she told me that they are but not for private insurance, those didn't come in yet.

I asked her if what she was telling me that there are 2 different flu shots depending on insurance company and she said "yes, one has mercury and the other doesn't." I am ABSOLUTELY appalled at this. There is only ONE vaccine. MERCURY?!?! Why would ANYONE want that injected into their child! Now maybe the practice didn't receive the entire supply and only have the ones sent by the state that are no charge, but PLEASE don't tell patients there are two difference vaccines when there isn't.

There is NO WAY I am bringing my child to that practice. EVER! The front office staff is the first impression of the practice and they certainly do not portray a positive image.

I started coming here with my daughter right after she was born 8 months ago. I love the doctors. They are extremely nice and have a great bedside manner. You feel like they are with you in the room and focused on your child. They always ask if you have any questions or concerns about anything. We LOVE our daughters doctor! What I am not especially overwhelmed by is the staff.

They seem to have a rough way about them. Not friendly with our daughter or us regardless of the reason we are there. When we bring her in, I feel that she should be treated a little more gently, (like a baby) and not like she is just another task to do at work. This isn't a once or twice occasion either, this is consistant behavior. I really wish they put a little more TLC into the care for their patients. Afterall, they are just babies! I will continue to come to this office because of the doctors.
