All urgent and well appointments are seen by one of our board certified pediatricians. As a small group practice, we operate on a collaborative model. You can always be sure that the care you receive represents the best of our accumulated pediatric expertise. And, because of our size, you'll always recognize faces that you know when you visit. If you are interested in working together, give us a call or send us a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can!
In many ways, pediatric medicine is still an old fashioned art. Families ask questions, doctors examine patients, and together we talk about ways to approach a problem. Our knowledge base is always growing, of course, and the answers may change over time, but sometimes there is just no substitute for an appointment with the doctor.
CHADIS is an online system that delivers questionnaires that help your doctor review the health and development of your child. Using CHADIS before the visit will help us take better care of your child. Your doctor uses developmental questionnaires to examine if your child is developing on schedule.
Pediatric Medicine of Wallingford is conveniently located just off Route 68, in the center of Wallingford. We can be quickly reached from Durham, Meriden, and Cheshire, but, since we sit right between I-91 and the Merritt, many of our families also come from Hamden, North Haven, Southington, Berlin, and Middletown.

Please do not pick Wallingford Pediatrics for your baby. I received a letter in my mail informing me that my child is no longer welcome at their clinic, that she has been discharged as a patient. Imagine how it feels when you have one year vaccines coming up that daycare requires and the appointment has been scheduled a while ago. When we called, we were informed that they do not know why we were discharged (poor communication in the office).

It has been two weeks of still trying to find out the reason. Amidst of this, being full-time working parents and having no time, it has been so difficult trying to find a good pediatrician that will take us in in time for the vaccines. Our doctor was Jeffrey Jennings. I urge you to seek care elsewhere.

1 star and that's to much had a 330 appointment and they forgot about us in the room. I had to walk out and leave. They also don't allow appointments for the flu shots.

I received horrible advice and my concerns were brushed off. My child ended up having a severe gastrointestinal disorder which we later discovered once I switched practices. The office refused to talk to me about concerns I had with her weight gain and constant screaming (which ended up being more than just colic). Providers need to take the time to actually listen to a parents concerns instead of just being a factory to get as many patients in the door as they can.

The best thing I did was find a pediatrician who listened to me and realized something wasn't right. It is now 3 years later and I am still horrified at the way my concerns were treated and the way they treated my daughter. So grateful for our new practice and the answers and path forward.

This is such a wonderful pediatricians office. I've had great experiences with all the Doctors here but recently I've seen Dr. Jennings and I could not be more impressed. My daughters appearance did not fit her illness, she's super happy and active but he was able to see past that and focus on her symptoms. He made a great judgement call in her needing more care then they or myself could give her.

Even when she was admitted to the hospital they didn't look past her appearance and wanted to send us home but I had asked for them to monitor her more because of what Dr. Jennings and I discussed I knew she needed more care. 4 hours later they seen her extreme drop in oxygen and admitted her. If it wasn't for Dr. Jennings great care I don't know where we would be today. Did he save a life?

Very possible. I am very grateful and blessed to be able to have this Pediatrician office care for my children. Choosing to have this office as my primary care for my children has been one of the best decisions I've made in my life. Thank you Dr. Jennings!

They are seeing my daughter since she was born! And until last week I was ok with them, but last Friday I took my baby for a check up on her hand, she was complaining about it, she was in pain and crying, so I went to the office, I had to wait 1 1/2 hours because they close for lunch, for lunch? Then I was driving in town to keep my baby calm, when they opened I went to have my baby check, the nurse did have the decency to come to the front desk and ckeck her out, she just send the message with the recepcionist to take my baby to another facility, when she never saw her, so why I have to keep going to them?, they were so indifferent and careless about an infant whom was looking for a medical care, later on I found that nothing happens with my daughter, she just was having a muscle paint and went away in an hour, thanks Good she is fine but this medical facilty needs to be more companionate and profesional with families like ours, who rely on them for the welfare of our children. Definitely not recomend and I am sure that all the people that I know won't make the same mistake to take their kids to the Pediatrics medicine of Wallingford!

My son will be 2 next week and we've been seeing Dr. Frank since he checked on my son the day after he was born at Midstate. I had already picked this practice but I had met with a different doctor during our intro meeting. I decided to switch to Dr. Frank after meeting him. That being said, the entire practice is wonderful, I typically see Dr. Frank but a couple of times I've had to see other drs for sick visits and they are all extremely nice.

I've also had to call off-hours several times and I always get a very prompt call back by the on-call doctor. Making an appointment has never been a problem and wait times are also never a problem. I don't think I can say enough good things about Dr. Frank. Being first time parents we've had many questions and concerns and he has been helpful, reassuring and friendly every time we've seen him. I highly recommend him!
