Services
Please call us when you think your child is experiencing some distress. Our medical staff can assess the need for an urgent sick visit and either give you advice or an appointment. We always try to see urgent sick visits on the same day you call. If you are unable to keep any type of appointment, please call in advance to cancel so we can offer that time to another patient who might be sick and need our help. If you are unable to arrive on time, please call the office as soon as possible so we may evaluate the schedule and reschedule if necessary.
Becoming a mother is one of the most important experiences in life. Starting your pregnancy journey with a good pediatrician will help you stay healthy and knowledgeable throughout your experience. East Haven Pediatrics offers a complimentary prenatal visit with one of our providers to help you begin a partnership with a doctor.
Regular wellness visits are very important to your child's well being. They give you the opportunity to get to know your child's primary medical care giver and for the practitioner to assess your child's growth, development, and general health. Your child's developmental milestones will be assessed at each well visit during the first several years of their life.
Congratulations on the arrival of your new baby! Caring for your young infant is a full time responsibility and is very rewarding. Many parents experience the mixed emotions of both excitement and intimidation when caring for a baby. It's a wonderful experience getting to know your new child. The staff are nice, however my daughter was tested for Covid at their office. I waited 3 days for results only for them to tell me quest lost the results. To make matters worse Dr. Chu's response was its not my fault you have to deal with Quest, and that Quest has done this many times. I can not believe that is the doctors response when we are still going through a pandemic.
As a business owner i could never just tell my client you deal with it. If Quest cant manage specimens it is the last offices job to find some other lab that handles specimens with more importance. I am truly disappointed with his response and will now have to find another pediatrician that actually cares about his patients and reputation.

The staff is amazing! The front desk associates were helpful, welcoming and very professional. The healthcare assistants were informative, fast and thorough. The Doctors were very friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone answered all of our questions and explained everything that was going on. My kids had amazing experiences (they even got shots) and as a family we definitely recommend East Haven Pediatrics.

THEY ARE AMAZING! The ladies at the front are so sweet and they get things fast! Ms. Cindy is THE DAMN BOMB! They saved both my children's lives. No matter where I move to, I would NEVER change Pediatrics. They should receive an award for their outstanding medical service. I love them all so much! I consider them apart of my family. If you need an attentive pediatric medical staff that actually cares about the well being of your children and are not in it for the $$$ THIS IS THE PLACE.

The front desk refused to schedule an appointment because i was showing frustration with her over not helping me find my daughter medical info. she is on moms healthcare plan and, mom will not provide the information. Told them my daughter is pooping small amount of blood and im concerned shes only 4. I said can you please bill me and i will collect the policy information.they told me no its not our problem. i told her set the appointment tomorrow with an attitude. obviously im going to be angry when talking, if my kids sick.
The secretary said (i am not the one) i said im not the one either ( Set the appointment). she procceded to tell me if my daughter was not here she would curse me out right now! I told her set the appointment again and again with no words in between. after i said set the appointment five time. she slammed the glass in my face and refused to set the appointment for my daughter.

The info is often wrong & i need to get a second opinion. My last straw was yesterday when they gave my daughter a flu shot while she was sick, even when i asked questions about it. Her fever has yet to go down below 102, no energy, coughing & sneezing & congestion is much, much worse. I will take her to ER before there again. Looking into other doctors immediately.
