Cataract co-management before and after surgery, including consultation for premium, toric, mono-vision, and single vision intraocular lenses. At Sedona Eye Care, our doctors are known for their ability to address your eye emergency needs. Eye emergencies include many conditions from foreign objects in the eye, chemical exposure, infections, and blunt injuries to the eye or lids.
Dr. Wright graduated magna cum laude from Southern California College of Optometry in 1973 and has been providing eye care in Sedona for 48 years. He is the founder and medical director of Sedona Eye Care. With a genuine concern for his patients' eye health, he provides family eye care as well as the treatment and management of glaucoma and other eye diseases.
Opened in May of 2005, Sedona's only Medicare and State licensed surgery center provides surgical service next door to Sedona Eye Care. This ambulatory surgical center is leased to Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center, which enables our patients to have the latest advances in cataract surgery including premium intraocular lenses and astigmatism management, YAG laser and glaucoma procedures (SLT and PI laser treatments) right here in Sedona.

I had an unusual occurrence in my eye and needed to see an ophthalmologist. I was recommended to Dr. Ivy, called her office on a Monday afternoon and left a message, hoping to get an appointment as a new patient. My call was returned by Tuesday a.m. and within an hour I had an appointment for Thursday morning. From my initial phone call the staff was warm and engaging. Dr. Ivy's exam was very thorough and she spent a good deal of time explaining her diagnosis. I was relieved and appreciative when the Dr. suggested we get my annual exam on the schedule for next year. I was very pleased with every part of my experience.

My sister-in-law fell on a trail damaging her glasses frame. We walked into Sedona Eye Care for assistance. We were greeted warmly and she was assisted professionally and effectively in a very short time by a kind employee. We are grateful for the assistance, particularly because my sister-in- law is legally blind.

I had a new patient appointment here, but 6 weeks prior to my appointment I had an emergency situation with my eye. I didn't think they would take me because I wasn't a patient yet, but I called and they fit me in that day. Everyone there was very kind and helpful. Dr Ivey was very thorough, pleasant and reassuring. I saw Dr Wright today for my follow-up and he also was very thorough and pleasant. They made me feel like I was in very good hands. I highly recommend this place!
