You're never more aware of how valuable and necessary your feet and ankles are than when something happens to them. Once they are uncomfortable or your mobility is compromised, you are reminded just how much you rely on your lower limbs in your everyday life. Fortunately, the experienced doctors at Martin Foot and Ankle are passionate about listening to your concerns and working with you to restore your health. Don't wait to seek help in eliminating your discomfort. The sooner a problem in your feet and ankles is addressed, the easier it is to remedy.
If you're concerned about the health of your lower limbs, or are struggling with a condition of the feet or ankles, don't wait for the problem to spiral out of control to seek help. Instead, contact Martin Foot and Ankle for an appointment or more information to see how we can make a difference for your mobility, independence, and comfort.
When your feet are uncomfortable, generally you notice. Pain is an excellent, if unpleasant, signal flag that all is not well in your body. So when you notice your shoes rubbing uncomfortably against a bump on the side of your foot, which often occurs when you have bunions, you should take note that something is not the way it should be.
Picture a chair with one crooked leg. The leg is shorter than the others, wobbly, and tends to tilt inward at the bottom. Would you trust this chair to hold a heavy, delicate object? Probably not, since you can't be sure the unstable limb will hold the weight. That is the same challenge your ankles face when you struggle with chronic ankle instability.

I recently went to the Pleasant Valley office to see Dr. Boyer. I usually see him at the Hanover office because it's about an hour and half drive for me for the York office. I currently have ankle and foot pain that is requiring surgery but waiting to be scheduled. I'm to the point I was no longer sleeping regularly. Especially the past few days. I called and asked if I could get an injection. Dr. Boyer is literally my hero.
First time in weeks, I was able to sleep throughout the night without waking up from horrible nerve spasms. What gets me the most is that as soon as he walked he, he apologize to me that I had to drive so far a couple of times. He shouldn't have to apologize for anything. traveling to see an amazing, caring doctor is well worth the drive regardless! Words can not express enough how much this has helped me! Thank you so much Dr. Boyer!

Martin's foot and ankle at Pleasant Valley Road is a practice I would recommend to anyone with foot and ankle issues. The staff are exactly what you want - you get checked in and checked out in good order - they are knowledgeable and friendly. The nurses listen to your concerns and take notes. I am especially recommending Dr. Ruit. He examines my feet carefully when I have an issue, he explains what is going on, and explains the course of action to take. He answers questions thoroughly in a professional manner and makes sure I understand what is going on with my feet. I couldn't ask for more in a doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Bradley Boyer for 5 years. When plantar fasciitis wasn't responding to more conservative treatments, he did surgery on my left calf and foot in Nov 2016. Things couldn't have gone better. As I seem to have aged, I was back again to treat a bunion on my right foot. In April 2021 we opted to do surgery now instead of when I'm older. Things also went great. Highly recommend Dr Boyer and the practice. I'm not sure how much I'll be back. I'm running out of feet.

Dr. Moyer is absolutely outstanding. She's made the entire surgery process a breeze. She's clearly passionate and very thorough in her work. Everyone there from the receptionists to the support staff have been extremely kind and helpful during the entire process. I seriously can't say enough great things about my on going experiences with Martin Foot & Ankle.
