If i could give a no star that woud be appropriate. So i came to a point where as a nurse i am so frustrated with what our s11ociety deems as acceptable. I schedule an urgent appointment for my daug0lwhter who has an urgent ( not emergent) medical need. During scheduling availability was 815 am or 915 i chose 915am d/t new patient the office staff asked we arrive a few minutes early for paperwork which i did.
We arrived at 906am there were 3 people in front of us signing in we signed in at 911am. The office staff then stated we were late. Then not the women helping me but another walked up then went to the back and came back up with an immediate irritation about her whole demeanor, " you have the ability to reschedule ", i was confused by her statement and asked again which she continued to repeat that statement.
I again advised her our appointment time was not 9 but 915. They didn't listen or even attempt to resolve the issue. So my daughter is now left without being seen and missed school without an excuse Then i tried to reach the office manager by phone whom i believed to be the lady that was irritated and had an attitude. She was rude beyond compare with no compassion or empathy for the situation that was caused by their office staff. One more thing when i asked about the conversation being recorded she stated" that's between the providers and UH, that has nothing to do with you". WOW

I see Dr. Lane. Don't have a problem with her, but am OVER the rude staff. Had someone argue with me about getting a new prescription for my inhaler because I haven't gotten a refill recently. I have had asthma all my life and we are in a pandemic if I need a new inhaler I'm NOT coming in for an appointment. Thankfully Dr Lane agreed with me and filled it. Called on my break today not realizing they were stilL at lunch and literally had someone SCREAM at me. Idk why they think it's okay to talk to people this way. never have this problem at the front desk when I go in it's always when I call or leave a voicemail to be called. Looking into other drs around me now cause I'm over trying to deal with them.

Dr. Lane is great, but I am really upset with my most recent experience with this facility. I have asthma. There is currently a global pandemic because of a respiratory virus with no known cure or vaccine. I asked if they would be willing to refill my inhaler prescription, and because I hadn't been seen recently, they would not. If I wanted a refill, I needed to schedule a visit and come in person.
A doctor's office, where sick people have been coming and going, is the LAST place someone with asthma (a respiratory condition) would want to be during covid-19 (a respiratory virus).

My eyelid is currently sealing shut because of a sealed tear duct, so I called them first thing at 8:30 when they opened. I was turned away because of an appointment I missed over 10 years ago. I can't believe the rudeness and sheer audacity My eyelid has nearly closed my eye shut, and so naturally I'm freaking out. They responded to my panic by telling me I wasn't allowed to be a patient. My medicaid card specifically has a Rosemont doctors name on it. I have to go there to get insurance coverage. To say the least I'm raging upset.

When my PCP retired at the end of July, I decided to come here. It was highly recommended by my parents and I tend to trust their judgment since they can be super picky. Lol! I called and got a new patient appointment set quickly! Only 2 weeks out! I was asked to come in 15-20 minutes early for paperwork, and it only took about 10 minutes. Paid my co-pay and sat in the waiting room for only 10 minutes. Waited for the doctor a bit longer, but everyone was very friendly and helpful with all my questions, before seeing the doc.
The doctor herself was very personable and easy to talk to. She answered all of my questions and took time with me. I did not feel like just a number. I really felt like she cared about my concerns. She's a keeper! The place itself was very clean and neat. Nicely decorated and many places to sit and wait. I think I'm gonna stay with those practice awhile!

Created by Dr. Philip Kennedy -it was great when he was there but started downhill when he left. Dr.s are all very good including PA-C Haver. Office staff is consistently cold and brutal. Could not understand that I work night shift and had trouble with appointments so they kicked me out of practice with no referral for a new PCP. UH affiliation totally ruined them.

I loved our doctor. Chuck Haver, However due to their office policies I will never return to the office. They refused to see my daughter for a well check and an ear infection check because they wanted to be able to bill the insurance company for two separate visits. This is craziness to me. A patient that has a busy schedule has to take 2 days when it could be avoided. It is Doctors Offices like this that contribute to the ridiculous prices of insurance.

I have a been a patient of Dr. Chen for several years. He is a top notch physician who cares very well for our family. The office staff is polite and helpful. Wait times are always minimal - I have never been in the waiting room for more ygM 10 minutes. If you are looking for a local family doctor, ask for Michael Chen.

We brought our toddler to Dr. Chen. He was extremely patient and helpful, even though the issue turned out to be minor. He really cares about his patients and is knowledgable about the healthcare system. We have recommended him to friends and family. My daughter enjoyed the visit and wanted to go again, despite feeling sick and shy.

While both Dr. Chen and Lane are great doctors, the office staff is horrible. They are rude and uncapable of handling patients in a sensitive and caring manner. If I were these doctors I would clean house and start all over from scratch and give them the proper training. As much as we love the doctors I am still seriously considering switching because I just cannot deal with the office staff, it is too stressful in an already stressful environment.
