Services
PET stands for Positron Emission Tomography. It is a special nuclear medicine exam that produces powerful three dimensional images of the body's functions A PET scan uses a small amount of a radioactive isotope to show differences between healthy and diseased tissue (such as cancer), often before they are large enough to cause a change in anatomy.
At Larchmont Medical Imaging, we're committed to giving referring physicians and their staff the information they need to obtain accurate diagnostic results while following best practices for patient safety. As you know, contrast agents can often enhance the diagnostic process by increasing the detail and clarity of CT or MRI images.

Def would never recommend this place. They can't get scripts correct causing the patient to reschedule or have to wait to try on a Saturday to reach the sending office. If this office wants scripts, THEY should request it from the sending office to avoid this! They have no manager here no one has helped to rectify this but left me to figure it out. If they can't get this right how am I supposed to trust the doctor to read a diagnosis properly? Other reviews do not speak volumes for her either

Wow - the tech there was rude and intimating. Came in to see me with an attitude like he didn't want to see me asking me aggressive questions about a past injury. Not going back there again.

I have had a number of MRIs before so I am familiar with how they operate. At the Mt Laurel location, I was told to stop holding my neck in its natural position (what I was there to image) and ended up in a lot of pain when I got home. I can also see how individuals with sensory issues would find it problematic here - they don't offer any comfort accommodations (seriously go to the location down the road in Centerton Plaza). I normally go there for my imaging needs as they are much more helpful and supportive. They do sometimes have a wait time, but it's worth it.

Does not accept patients with Autism or sensory issues that will not tolerate masks or accept written documentation from a medical provider, as well as a negative covid test. Nice people but only accepts neurotypical clients

Surprise Insurance Billing Be aware - even if you provide an insurance card at the front desk while checking in - with your physician referral - if your insurance company is not on their list of "approved providers" they do not check against their short list of approved providers. They will bill you after the services as "NON-PAR" which means if Larchmont submit a $300 bill to insurance - and your insurance company says that bill should be - after provide discount - $90 - (because it's only worth $90) they just reject that adjustment and bill you directly $300.

But they will accept any payment the insurance company decides to make. at whatever amount the insurance company says is fair, and then bill you for the balance - so $300 since no one has a deductible of $0. This is a pattern with Larchmont. Avoid them if you can unless you have one of their very short list of approved insurance companies.

Money hunger company that does not accept the state of New Jersey insurance plans. They only care to save the Rich and deny the poor of any care.

It is too difficult to get results of studies from Larchmont Imaging. All of the employees--technicians and staff--were professional and helpful. The issue is that I had to call 2X to get results about my images sent to my doctors; I finally had to call the doctor's office to request results. The patient portal does not allow access to records for at least one week.

South Jersey Radiology posts results in the patient portal within 24 hours. The 21st Century Cures Act is meant to ensure patients quick access to their records. I believe that Larchmont Imaging needs to update their policies to be in compliance. I will not use them again as the anxiety about waiting for results is not worth it at Larchmont.

Larchmont is now billing like a SPECIALIST OFFICE VISIT which will cause you to have to pay a specialist copay. They should be billing as a FREESTANDING IMAGING FACILITY and should not be charging a copay! I called my insurance company and they confirmed that I should not have a copay for xrays, mammograms, ultrasounds or any other type of diagnostic imaging. Larchmont said they charge a copay for all those visits.

My insurance company opened an investigation into the matter especially after they noticed that Larchmont is billing under a doctor who is not linked to Larchmont. At best--these are unbelievably incompetent billing mistakes. At worst--this is insurance fraud. If you go, know your insurance coverage beforehand. I had very positive experiences for over 10 years at Larchmont, but after this my insurance company advised me to go elsewhere for future imaging needs.

Larchmont Imaging does not allow a patient to schedule an appointment via telephone unless it is an emergency. When requesting an appointment online, Larchmont Imaging promises to contact the patient within 24 hours. I requested an appointment on a Thursday. When I did not hear by Friday, I requested it a second time, and a third time the following Monday. I never heard back from Larchmont. I will never attempt to use this company again. Extremely poor customer service.

A great big thank you to the staff at Larchmont Imaging in Mt. Laurel. I spent most of the day there getting tests for my elderly parents. The staff were extremely kind and attentive, being especially considerate to my very ill father. Your understanding and compassion are much appreciated!
