Top notch customer service and professionalism. I had an eye irritation from my contact lenses and they got me an emergency appointment right away. My appointment time was minimal waiting and they resolved my issue. Great place I highly recommend

The office was immaculate, modern and very functional. The people were very warm, kind, professional and friendly. Dr. Marano's staff were a reflection of him as he was all of the above and thorough in his assessment during the exam. A dear friend referred me who, along with his family, has been using Dr. Marano's services for decades. I know why they continue to do so and praise him highly.

The wait was a little long past my appointment time but it was well worth it. The gentleman would checked me in very nice, my eye screening technician Antonio was the best ever he was very kind, pleasant, warm spirited, and patient. Dr. Marano had the same mannerisms he was very nice as a new patient I was very pleased and would definitely refer my friends and family to this office. Great Staff

Our first visit at the Livingston office and all 3 of us satisfied with the visit. The front desk staff were friendly, space for social distance, clean office, and we all received a detailed eye exam. The staff, doctors before seeing Dr Marano we're pleasant and they all took time to answer questions and explained the results of the eye exam.

I've been a patient of this practice for many years. I wasn't sure at first because I was fond of my previous Dr. Chopin. Dr. Decker has taken great care of managing my glaucoma pressure situation. Taking care to monitor it so it doesn't progress. The office is clean. The staff is pleasant. I've seen a new few faces over the years but there are a number of veteran staff which speaks to stabilityI, workforce. My parents used them based on my recommendation.

There were two women at the front desk. The older woman was a bit sharp in her responses. The woman who sits on the right as you walk in behind the glass was very nice as was Jessica when I left. I filled out all of the paperwork online before I came and was handed the same exact paperwork to fill out when I arrived. The older women at the front desk said they didn't have access to the information that I filled out online, and she said it in a condescending way.

Why I spent the time to fill out all the paperwork before I arrived only to have to fill it out again when I was there is a mystery with no explanation given. I felt the exam was very thorough and the people inside the room responded nicely to all my questions. Dr. Morano was very nice, as was the other doctor and Bao. The nurses inside the room were very nice also. If it wasn't for the interface when I first came in, I would've ranked it a five star.

Receptionist at front desk was very cordial and welcoming me for my 8:30 am appointment. Bell the optical technician or optician test specialist was very knowledgeable and explained the different tests and machines he used to complete the readings for cataracts or glaucoma or corrective lenses. He was very helpful in explaining some results from my visual reading test and my questions about the eye drop usage for dry eyes versus an periodic eye that hurt. Dr. Decker was also helpful in explaining the tests he had to do and intelligently answered my questions about the cataracts and necessary eye drops to be used.

Everyone is very professional (and friendly) from the front desk through each step in the exam. Always introducing themselves when they enter the exam room to explaining why they are there, it was a great experience. And Dr Marano is second to none- our whole family has been going to him for years.

Dr. Marano and his staff were welcoming and patient throughout my whole exam. The office space was comfortable and clean. Even as a new patient Dr. Marano answered all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend going here for your exams/eye care services.

From the moment of checking in staff are cordial and thoughtful. The doctor who first brought me into start examining my eyes was informative and able to answer my questions while making sure kit was Dr. Decker who would be informing me if all the necessary information. His demeanor was clear and direct. Dr. Decker confirmed that in his easy way of translating information. I have always had a positive experience when having an eye exam. Thanks to all staff involved. While my care and procedure at the facility was excellent, I was not given enough preliminary information to prepare for my visit. I specifically asked if I would need a driver when I had my laser procedure and was told, no, I would be able to drive. I was expecting to have both eyes done at the same time, but it was not made clear to me that it would not be possible to do it that way.

I was also in a lot of pain afterwards for about 6 hours, which was unexpected. Since I live over an hour away from Livingston, I had to stay overnight at a friend's house nearby until I could drive. I now have to return for another procedure. All in all, the technicians and the doctors are excellent, but the staff needs to be more detailed to the patient on what to expect and how to prepare.

When i was experiencing the pain and called the office, I was told that I was over-dilated due to my light eyes and that's why I was having an issue. Later, when I called back, I was told that I must have rubbed my eye which I was very careful to not do.

Two recent visits here in two different locations, both visits overseen by Dr. Marano himself and I am disappointed beyond words by the lack of professionalism and the lack of attention to detail provided. You wasted my time and my money because you could not spend ~5 minutes to do a more careful initial examination, which resulted in even more wasted time and money on visit 2.

On visit 1 most of the "heavy lifting" was done by a tech, who (amusingly/sadly, I guess) misdiagnosed my issues. Not my first two times at this practice, but definitely the last time I will be back here. Looking back, I would say I get better service at the average deli counter, but at least I get something for my time and expense at the deli!

Today was my first time visiting Dr. Marano's office. My PCP recommended I call his office. The staff was very friendly and kind. The office was kind enough to get me in same day as I had an emergent eye problem. Dr. Decker was efficient, and fast, but thorough. He addressed the emergency and suggested I schedule a full exam for a future date. Which i definitely did.

Dr Decker is one of the worst doctors I have seen in a long time. If I could give him zero stars I would. I made an appointment because I had a cyst that popped in my waterline and my eye was swollen, red and vision blurry. I waited an hour and fifteen minutes to be seen. Once I was finally seen and I explained what was wrong, Dr Decker proceeded to tell me that my eye looked perfectly normal so I reiterated that my eyes looked completely different from the others eye and that even my husband and family had commented on how swollen my eye was.

He proceeded to tell me I was wrong and my eyes both looked the same and that he would have to put drops in to dilate my pupil and I would have to wait another 30 min for the drops to take effect. I told him that I could not believe I was made to wait over an hour and a half to be told I would now need to wait another 30+ minutes and that they really should have dilated my pupils while I was waiting in the first place. Dr Decker then proceeded to threaten me: you should consider yourself lucky that I am making the time to see you, and you can leave if you don't like it. Dr Decker has zero bedside manners and is a horrible doctor medically speaking.

He should consider HIMSELF lucky to still have a practice after the complete disdain he has for his patients. I left and made an apt with a different ophthalmologist who told me immediately upon seeing me that yes my eye looked swollen and red, she did not even need to dilate my pupils to diagnose me. Save yourself an hour and a half as well as being insulted and being told nothing is wrong when something is visibly wrong by avoiding dr Decker at all costs

I'm not a happy camper today. 1:45 appt. to check my eye pressure, it's 4:10 and I'm still here. My time is valuable, too. Why don't doctors get that concept? Very frustrated. My eye pressure might me good but my blood pressure sure isn't!
