Warning: Dr. Lentine is NOT Lyme literate. A Lyme literate doctor knows that clinical presentation is a more accurate assessment of Lyme than bloodwork. They also know that any strand showing positive on a Western blot is important. Even the CDC website says that Lyme requires a differential diagnosis and not to go by bloodwork. Dr. Lentine's practice seemed like a money making scheme from the start.

One is informed up front that there's a charge for phone calls. She's uninformed. If you see her and have clinical symptoms of Lyme, but she says it's not Lyme, don't trust her opinion. Go to the NJ Lyme association website for assistance in finding a truly Lyme literate doctor. There are also helpful groups on social media. I wish you the best.

I have been going there for a few years. The PA Celia is good but the office staff is not the friendliest. Today I went in for my annual exam and a office staff tells me that my insurance is out of network. They didn't even call me or send me a letter to give me a heads up. Super unprofessional.

Barely adequate examination during my physical (which took place in a re-purposed broom closet), over-crowded facilities plastered with solicitation ads for weight loss pills and plastic surgery, billed me for services not provided (nurse off-handedly mentioned it'd be a good idea to quit smoking = $30 charge for "intensive smoking cessation therapy"), and to top it all off, screwed up processing my payment and charged me a late fee when I was finally notified of it months later. Definitely the worst healthcare provider I've been to.

I went years ago before I moved. Staff was very rude. When I tried a few years back to get my medical records they told me they destroyed them. I hadn't been there because I had lost my insurance. They never tried to contact me. They just destroyed all of my records from all previous doctors.

This is the worst medical facility I've ever been too, and I've been to many, and while I always appreciate the hard work that office staff, nurses, and doctors do, I cannot say that for this office and I am appalled with my experience. First (and will be the only) visit - I came in for a blood draw, and had fasted for the tests as instructed.

My appt was 9:30 am, I arrived at 9:15 - after a leisurely 2 hour wait in the tiny waiting room being completely ignored as people went in and out around me, I finally got a blood draw at 11:30 am. The phlebotomist missed my vein ( FYI I'm thin and have extremely prominent veins, as told to me by anyone else who's ever drawn my blood) and I started to faint when she "went in again to find the vein" (yikes)- they told me they didn't have a bed for me to lie down on (as I'm falling off the chair seeing white), and that I'd have to go to Quest or Labcorp for my blood draw.this should have been a big red flag to me. An office that specializes in tests but cannot do a simple blood draw or handle a patient who gets dizzy from a blood draw?

Oh boy. I called 4 weeks after my Quest diagnostic visit/horrible Lentine visit - to check on my results as I hadn't heard anything and had been told it would be about 2 weeks - and was told that "something happened at Quest and my blood tests were damaged - sorry we found out last week, but I guess nobody called you to let you know." Correct, no one did call me and this is why I'm calling you right now! It's a good thing I called to find out myself! It's not like I was waiting for these results or anything, nothing important, just my own health, no big deal!

I received an invitation to come back and spin the roulette wheel again tomorrow morning, but I decided that not only do I not have 3 hours to waste in the morning sitting around in the waiting room, but if I have to ask at the front desk for a phlebotomist who is experienced with taking blood, this is probably a good sign for me to go elsewhere. It's sad that this is how a doctor's office is run - that nobody would call a patient to let them know that their entire panel of tests was rendered useless and needed to be redone.

I wonder if they ever would have called me if I hadn't called to check. I'm guessing no. I'll never know, though! Lol. The mysteries of life. Long story short. Don't go here!

I can not say enough wonderful tings about the competence and professionalism of Dr. Nancy Lentine and her staff. Recently, I had to have some very serious surgery. Although I had a lot of confidence in my surgeon, I didn't have it in his staff. Dr. Lentine assured that I had through and complete surgical clearance. They made my surgery happen. In addition, her ongoing care has improved my health immensely. Thanks to her, I get bone density results that are improving over time. Amazing!

Love the staff at Dr. Nancy Lentine's office. We see the PA Seleha, she is very thorough, professional and takes time with her patients. I am never intimidated to ask questions. Also the supporting staff is very courteous and a pleasure to communicate with. Alina is the best, very sweet, friendly and personable. They never make you wait. I also appreciate when they inform me which services or tests will not be covered by my insurance. This helps with unexpected costs. All in all, I highly recommend Dr. Nancy Lentine's practice!

I had the worst experience ever so far when visiting Dr Lentine. The staff was ok. A bit crowded and lots of waiting in a tiny waiting room with several other people in the middle of a Pandemic. but still ok. Dr Lentine, however, wasted a full 5 minutes on me before walking me out her office and that was the end of my consultation. Cero questions. Cero care for her patients.

All she wanted was to have me do several blood tests which when I asked if my insurance would cover got her to get angry at me and kicked me out of her office "If you don't get coverage it will be about a couple thousand dollars for you to pay" she mentioned. And then proceeded to kick me out because I asked if we could find out if my insurance would cover those or not.

I have never felt so mistreated. Regardless of the fact that you ask for a medical consultation because you NEED medical care (I was coming in for Lyme disease). Well you WILL NOT RECEIVE MEDICAL CARE HERE. I left the office crying if that gives you a better idea of how this office works.

For over a decade of going to specialists, having CAT Scans, x-rays, and being misdiagnosed for my continuous symptoms, after visiting Saleha and receiving thorough bloodwork I finally got the correct diagnosis - I had Lyme disease. Saleha is a wonderful and caring doctor, and her medical assistant Almina is very attentive and kind. I am truly grateful for my recovery and I highly recommend this practice!

Wonderful staff and timely appointments. Saleha and Amina are very thorough in their history taking I felt completely covered by the time I was done with their patient history! They have also taken great care of my wife and have paid attention to her health concerns no matter how small. Great providers that take your health seriously

Unfortunately, I would not recommend choosing this practice for a PCP. -Most of the front office staff is very rude -Had to call 9 times and leave 2 messages (no response to either) over the course of 4 days about getting access to their portal to get my blood work results. They spelt "Montclair" without a T when entering my email into the system. -Asked for a referral due to anxiety and was told to take magnesium by the physican's assistant and that we would discuss at my next physical. (Next year!?!) This made me terribly sick. Called the office to discuss, was only allowed to speak to the nurse (who is very nice) but she didn't know the answer.

I received a call several hours later saying to discontinue taking the magnesium. No further info or referral. Edit: Office called me twice asking why the low review, so I've updated with my experiences.

I am currently looking for a new PCP. I called and asked if they currently accept my insurance. The staff couldn't answer that very, VERY basic question. Why on earth would I trust my health and my medical records to an office that doesn't even know who's giving them money? Every other private practice, urgent care, and dental office I've been to can at least answer the question, "Do you take Such And Such Insurance?"

I have tried several different doctors before choosing Dr. Lentine's office. But FINALLY someone was listening to me! Her staff uncovered heavy metal toxicity, food sensitivities and hormonal imbalances that previous medical professionals overlooked. I'm losing weight, sleeping better and have more energy. It's hard to get an appointment so best if you are flexible with your schedule.

I was a patient of Dr. Lentine for over 25 years, when I got cancer she didn't check my results for over two years. I had cancer for over 2 years before I was notified. Then when I e-mailed and call to talk with her, she refer me to her assistant. I don't believe she wouldn't talk to me after being her patient for over 25 years. The only thing she ever checked was my cholesterol.

When I finally was diagnosed with cancer I was over a stage 3. I had to have the strongest chemo, than 39 radiation treatments. I had a double Mastectomy, also my treatments were so strong that my hair never came back. She has never try to contain me, ever through she new I had had cancer for 2 year and never was told anything. I would not recommend her to my dog. Good luck to anyone who choose to use her. Judi C

I don't think I have ever been so comfortable going to the doctor in my life. The staff and Dr Lentine are welcoming, patient and knowledgeable. I actually enjoy going to this office! Dr Lentine spent a lot of time with me. She straightened out my vitamin levels and cholesterol. Her assistants are excellent. They all are confident and thorough.

So disappointing! I have been a patient for over ten years-never missing or being late for an appointment (and dealing with the very rude staff, I might add). I missed one appointment due to an emergency and got charged for a missed appointment fee. I called to see if i could get it waived since I have no record of this type of behavior. Shocking that the office manger and Dr. Lentine would not waive the fee.

Not only is this terrible business but it's a very disappointing way to handle a one time incident from a very loyal patient! I will not be going back as this speaks volumes about the value they put on their patients that they have collected thousand of dollars from through insurance and all the cash I've paid them for their supplements that I could have gotten for half the price online, but chose to give them.

I've been seeing Elaine Nouh for about a year now. She's a lifesaver. Seriously. They are the only office that takes my insurance, understands Autoimmune and properly tested me for Lyme. I feel absolutely safe in their hands. They aren't pushy with supplements and have been treating homeopathically without antibiotics. I couldn't be happier to have found this office and refer it often.

I would not even leave a star but would not be able to leave a review. $100.00 for missing an appointment! Rude office personnel claims to have texted or emailed to verify appointment which I did not get at all but was snip to say that maybe I should have wrote it down to remember as opposed to rely on them to remind me!. My appointment wasn't even with Dr. Lentine it was with one of her associates and still hit with $100 for missing my appointment. ALL my doctors give me a courtesy PHONE call to remind me. Very unacceptable! Your welcome if your practice needs the money that much to secure appointments.

I have been coming to dr. Nancy lentine for over 15 years. I was referred to her when no one could find the reason I was so tired. She discovered that I had a heart condition and sent me to a wonderful cardiologist. Since then over the years she has treated me without the drugs that other doctors would put me on. What I like most about her is that she gets to the root of the problem and treats it naturally.

Of course when it's really needed she will prescribe antibiotics but she doesn't over prescribed medicine. Some of the things I have benefited from have been chelation therapy and vitamin drips. I think that excellence should be praised.
