BE CAREFUL with their billing department! The billing department was unable to properly file a claim and communicate with my insurance company. Instead, they kept calling me asking me to pay the wrong balance. Then I have to call my insurance company for calibration. Before long, my insurance company processed the claim, paid the correct balance, and posted the completed claim to my online account. However, they still kept calling me instead of updating their bill and accusing me of not reporting to them that my insurance handled their claim.

Come on, it's their job not the patient. You can see a lot of similar complaints earlier. They always charge patients a different balance than the insurance and force you to pay the wrong bill. Totally a nightmare! Even if the doctors are good, I won't see any doctors there again because of their horrible billing department.

I have been a patient for many years but my most recent experience will most likely be my last. I can't get the results of a test performed by Dr Fleischer over 2 weeks ago. They were having technical problems but I was told that I would get an email the next day with the results. Since then I have called, left voicemails, and emails and get no responses. I have made many phone calls and only spoke to a live person once. She took my information and still no responses. None. Terrible service.

Dr. Bianchi and Dr. Chin are both wonderful. Helpful, caring and thorough. My experience though with Dr. Fleischer was the complete opposite. He was rude, rushed, condescending and unhelpful. I was astounded by his poor manners and his lack of care. I would never again see Dr. Fleischer but my experiences otherwise at the office have been positive.

Do not go here! They only want to push surgery to make more money. They don't care about working with patients to find solutions. I felt completely taken advantage of. You can also expect to wait 45 minutes to an hour to be seen by a nurse. One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a doctor. I was genuinely scared. The utensils also looked dirty.

5 STARS ALL THE WAY! I needed a specialist for my fathers double - vision as I was informed that he needed Prism lenses. Coming from doctors in NYC Columbia Presbyterian, my bar is set quite high with doctors. I was immensely impressed from the quality of time Dr Bianchi devoted to my dad since this was his first visit. Dr. Bianchi patiently listened to my fathers issues, even spent time on the phone with my brother who was more familiar with my dads prior case and proceeded the examination.

His lovely assistant technician Eniko was kind, patient, gentle and had a wonderful bed side manner as well which is so important. Dr. Bianchi's professionalism with his technician gives my review 5 Stars all the way

I am a surgical technician at The Valley Heath System at The Luckow Pavilion in Paramus. Extremely impressed with Dr. Bianchi's surgical skills and compassion towards his patients.

Such a great experience with Dr. Bianchi, kind, funny ( he sang Sesame Street jingles while doing the exam on my daughter), thorough, and so patient. Staff was very welcoming. His MA Stacey was so nice, and helpful. I had no wait time i was the first appt after lunch.

Since January, 2021, I have been trying to work with their billing department to resolve incorrect claim. The billing office submitted the claim under me as opposed to my daughter and under annual eye check as opposed to medical. They claim since I didn't write "dry eye" on my form they cannot submit it as medical. To make things worse, my insurance denied the claim and I can't even appeal it because the claim was submitted under my daughter! Also, the office originally sent me a bill for $250 (courtesy adjustment) but then they sent me a revised bill and took away the courtesy adjustment ending with the final bill for whooping $405. So, another item for me to resolve. headaches and nightmares.

I just left Westwood Ophthalmology where I had an evaluation for an upcoming surgical procedure. From beginning to end it was an extremely professional experience. Reception staff, then Stacey who took many measurements of my eyes and explained the relevance of all to me to finally consulting with Dr. Chin - everything was great. Although the practice was extremely busy I was in no way rushed through the process and any questions I had were answered thoroughly. I'm now looking forward to my surgery in a few weeks with complete confidence. Highly recommend Westwood Ophthalmology!

Dr. Glen Bianchi is the best pediatric ophthalmologist on the east coast. My adolescent daughter had an eye emergency and Dr Bianchi was super kind, very professional, and immediately solved her irritation. He has spacious, clean, professional offices, conveniently located, I highly recommend him!

Disappointing - trying to get contacts for my son. Only one person working on teaching kids to put them in. Very limited hours. Have been going there for years and no loyalty to try to accommodate us. Will look for new Opthamology group now.

This place is a gold mind. all they are about is money. Plan to wait at least 45 minutes in waiting room. And then only see the doctor for 5. I came for a regular check up and they told me they need to look further into my one eye. Not telling me how much it would cost nothing. They put me liquid into my eye look at it with some other machine only to tell me I have a freckle in my eye! Which I could of already told them. Month later I get a bill for $600! Complete rip off!

A very smooth office. Very organized. My wait was minimal. Everyone extremely friendly and made you feel comfortable Dr Tran asked the right questions. They did a very thorough analysis and found I had a scratched cornea. This will be my new go to for optometry.

I'm writing verbatim what I had expressed to the abrasive front desk staff. "Amateur hour". No more, no less. I cannot comment on Dr. Chin as I left before meeting him. My wife and I had a 9 am appointment. We had been the only patients in the waiting area upon arrival. The technician, whose manner and lack of finesse, also left much to be desired, but wouldn't by itself come close to prompting my wife and I to stand up and leave.

The thoughts of doing so began long after the fifteen minutes the technician said we needed to wait to see Dr. Chin so that the dilator drops could fully take effect. During the extended wait (again we where the day's first appointment) the only contact we had was when the technician quickly peeked into the door to unceremoniously announce to someone, "yeah, they're both sitting here". Then, more radio silence and 10 minutes later we up and left.

When quietly informing the desk staff of our decision, their prevailing affect was in no way one of concern. No one so much as attempted any sort of explanation. They had actually seemed mildly amused. This is perhaps the third review I had ever written and the only one that did not describe a glowingly positive experience. This morning, however, the three - four people we had interacted with seemed unabashedly determined to present the culture of Westwood Ophthalmology Associates as one of self righteous, vulgar, classless overindulgence.

Dr. Fleischer and the entire Westwood Ophthalmology team are amazing. I had called for an emergency appointment due to an eye injury and am so glad I went here for treatment. Dr. F was kind, courteous and extremely knowable, helping me feel at ease in what was otherwise a very stressful ordeal. From the front desk staff to the doctors, A+ experience all around. Thank you again for your great service!
