I had multiple appointments with them that have been canceled the DAY OF because of an emergency' the doctor had. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment you are usually waiting 40+ minutes in the waiting room because the doctor is always behind. So if you have a job, you're out of luck because you'll have to take half a day with these people. Also, they put you on hold for 20 minutes AFTER you were waiting over 40 minutes for someone to pick up.
You always have to wait for like 40 minutes at least until a rude person picks up. Sometimes the calls drop and no you won't get a call back. I honestly hate this place so much. They need to find new staff. I only go because I like my doctor.

I tried to call my doctor to let him know I was diagnosed with COVID. Spoke to a person who said they would give the message to his team. Never got a call back.that was 4 days ago. Good thing I have the ability to pay out of pocket for a doctor who actually cares. Never again. My whole family is finding a new place for our medical needs. Heartless

Caremount service has deteriorated over the years, it is frustrating to get an appointment especially the never ending wait time on the phone for some human to actually answer the call. One is usually greeted with the line, " your call is important, we give personal attention to all callers", which is mind- numbingly painful to hear, especially when you're on hold for 45 minutes already.
I have sprouted more grey hairs in 45 minutes than I have done in years. The doctors/providers are wonderful and they do an amazing job. Additionally the conflicting covid guidelines/instructions given do not really help. Caremount needs to step up their customer service drastically.

I arrived 45 minutes before my appointment. It didn't make sense to drive home and back so I was pretty early. I signed in, answered some questions, and filled out the forms. The front desk lady told me I would be called soon. An hour later I was still not called. I saw people who had arrived after me being called in but since there are multiple doctors I thought they must be for someone else.
Eventually someone comes out and asks if that's everyone for Dr. Gore. I say that I'm waiting for Dr. Gore and I've been here for an hour and a half. She then tells me that I was never signed in by the front desk. How does that happen? I spoke with them; I filled out the forms; how do you forget to sign someone in and just leave them sitting there for an hour and a half?
This was extremely upsetting. I was led to a room and asked to change into a gown. It was another half an hour before the nurse came back to instruct me that although I wanted to ask the doctor about two related things, I was only allowed to ask the doctor about one of them and I would have to make another appointment to discuss the second. Can you believe that?
Never in my life have I been told that I'm only allowed to discuss one problem with the doctor - not two. Completely ridiculous. Dr. finally came in and wanted to do a pap smear. I told her that I already had one done and I could have the results faxed to her. She did not listen to me and did one anyway. I did not find her helpful with the questions I came to ask her. She kept laughing but what I was telling her wasn't meant to be funny. Overall I was very disappointed with CareMount.

Consistently bad experiences. Avoid at all cost. Overworked and rude staff. Most recent visit for a physical was horrible. Receptionist told me as I check in that I could not have one because medicaire would not pay for it. Only a health check up. Long discussion why I could not have one. Today, had to run through hoops for a covid test. Went to location and no one was there at time of appointment. I then went to Northwell Health with my script and received a test within minutes.

Terrible corporation. All of the best doctors have been leaving in frustration. My own very good doctor quit, and they couldn't even assign me a replacement for months. The arrogant corporate culture has leaked down and infected the non-medical staff. I would avoid this corporation if at all possible, despite some very good doctors and nurses who still remain with them. Caremount should be shunned by the public in my opinion.

As a healthcare navigator; I'm pretty appalled with the phone service at this facility. I attempted to schedule a patient as a self-pay patient and was told that the representative was "unaware" of any sort of charity/payment plan - which is listed literally on their website. I was then told that providers were scheduling into 2021 - which is also not reflected on the website.
The staff was abrasive and curt with me while I attempted to help my patient get medical care. I ended up scheduling with premier medical group rather than wait around for these people to stop twiddling thumbs and train their staff in their own methodologies.

I went to CareMount Medical to get care and (many) stiches for a deep glass cut at the base between my middle finger and ring finger. Through the entire experience the staff was professional and attentive. The Physicians Assistant who attended to me was knowledgeable, had a tremendous bedside manner and walked me through the process step by step. I had a similar experience with the intake receptionist, the nurse who cared for me, the x-ray technician and the check-out personnel.
I was in the facility for two hours and was never left sitting in a room for any significant amount of time. Furthermore, every room I was in was clean. I should add that when I arrived it was not overly crowded but, regardless, my experience at CareMount Medical could not have been better so I thought I would pass it along.

I have never written a google review but I felt it necessary. I love my doctor and her nurse so I have tried to weather the storm of their poor admin staff in the past but this week was my final straw. I spent hours just trying to reach someone and no one ever answers the nurse line. When someone finally answers after an hour of waiting, every nurse was confused and rude and not helpful.
I spoke with 5 different nurses who all told me different answers and never called me back. I can't get an appointment with my doctor for an emergency but I can get ten bills for the same visit I already paid. I see their priorities. I'm going to start looking for a new doctor because the stress of dealing with caremount out weighs my love for my doctor at this point.

I've been going to the obgyn office (oakwood campus) for prenatal care. The doctors, nurses, and office staff have all been really lovely. Dr Kim in particular is funny, caring, and takes time to explain everything. He is truly a gem and I wish every doctor everywhere was like him. The reason for the 4-star rating because of caremounts phone system/anything related to calling the office. Getting someone on the phone is an all-day long process. Trying to make an appointment, ask a medical person a question, get lab results, have a generic question answered, etc can literally sometimes take all day.
You can wait on hold for 30 minutes and still be on hold. If you hang up and try again, you'll be met with the same challenges. So it can genuinely take a full day to get a simple answer. However, when you do go to the office for an appointment, you are met with an incredibly friendly and warm staff and top-notch care. So for that reason I will continue to go!
