Services
Wellness exams : We offer a full range of wellness exams that include school and camp physicals, Medicare physicals, well woman exams and well child exams. Xray services : We are able to provide in house X-rays for our patients using digital imaging. This uses digital Xray sensors rather than traditional film and reduces exposure to radiation.
All professionals at Lockhart Family Medicine maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the medical field. Dr. Romanek completed his undergraduate studies in Zoology at the University of Toronto in Canada, receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1972.
Same day and next day appointments are available for most illnesses. While walk-ins are usually able to be seen, and emergencies do happen, we would greatly appreciate a phone call prior to your arrival in order that we might meet your needs more promptly and adjust our scheduled patients if necessary.
UPDOX is a patient portal that allows two way communication with you and our staff safely and conveniently through the Internet in a secure and confident manner. An e-mail is sent to your private account with notification of a secure message from your health care provider. You then enter or go to a saved copy of the web address, log in, and securely view the message.

We are new to the area and I was looking to get my children established with a new doctor. I want to believe that these doctors are probably kind thoughtful people but you can get past the front desk/receptionists attitude. Short, annoyed and rude on the phone. Every time I have called she has placed me on 3-4 min holds and speak as if I have inconvenienced her day by trying to set an apt or checking to see if they received my new patient forms. This office needs to loose the unkind receptionist at the front, she is the face for your practice and its ugly.

Until today, I've always had a great experience with Dr. Wheeler and Danielle Williams, along with their office staff. Today, however a front office staff by the name of Stephanie was short, abrupt, and thoughtless. I understand needing to change an in-person appointment to a telehealth one due to certain symptoms. I wish I would have been told this ahead of time.
When Stephanie told me they couldn't see me in-person for my appointment I had scheduled 3 weeks before she abruptly said "you will have to call for a telehealth appointment." No "I'm sorry" or kindness in her tone or demeanor. When I asked for the documentation to get a lab slip to complete my fasting labs, she again replied shortly "you'll have to call for us to arrange that later." I am very disappointed and will have to see if I want to continue with Lockhart Family Medicine after being an otherwise satisfied patient there for years.
