Note: Berkeley Pediatric Medical Group does not accept families who are unwilling to vaccinate their children. This is against our philosophy of high quality, preventive medicine. We do have suggestions for minimal alternative schedules to protect your infant, based on reputable medical information. We are happy to discuss immunization questions should they arise. Please see our immunization policy.
Studies have shown that medication is effective in treating the symptoms of ADHD alone or in combination with behavioral interventions. Your child's or teen's doctor will determine whether your child or teen has ADHD by using standard guidelines developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics specifically for children, teens, and young adults 4 to 18 years of age.
Traffic crashes are the leading cause of death for teens and young adults. More than 5,500 young people die every year in car crashes and thousands more are injured. Parents can play an important role in reducing these numbers and keeping their teens alive. As a parent, you know the importance of your teen's social life and that parties are a way to socialize and relax.
Treating children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) often involves a comprehensive program that addresses the education, development, and behavior of the child. Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have difficulties navigating everyday situations. Developmental and behavioral interventions are interrelated and are the mainstay for educating and supporting people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
A certain level of anxiety is typical in some circumstances, such as new situations (and high-stakes testing of adolescents), and naturally protects against real dangers. However, anxiety can sometimes keep young people from activities that are important to their development. One of the most abused drugs in our society is alcohol.

The nurses there are not very nice, I can't say they are rude but definitely not friendly. Don't expect you can have a pleasant conversation with them.

Entire staff is GREAT. My phone calls get returned, the people answering the phones are VERY helpful, Dr. Lang is super responsive, Amy Famini NP connects so well with children of all ages. The headache of immunizations - all taken care of in their office. Thank you!

The front receptionist staff are always very cold, never smile or even say hello and non-friendly. The only reason I continue to take my child here is because Grace So is very nice and the location is convenient. Other than that, I hate interacting with the front staff, they appeared to be so stuck up! Minus two stars for the front staff!

I love Berkeley Pediatrics. Our children's pediatrician is Grace So, who is wonderful, but all the other doctors are great too. With 3 kids who have been with them since birth, I highly recommend them.
