Premier Medical is a locally owned independent medical equipment company specializing in Complex Rehab Technology (CRT). Complex Rehab is distinctive in today's healthcare environment. CRT products (such as power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs and bathing equipment) are medically necessary and individually configured devices, that require evaluation, fitting, adjustment and or programming.

Most often, these products and services require the expertise of a certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and the skills of a highly competent support staff that can acquire, bill and deliver these unique products.
Services
Premier Medical was started in 1993 by two high school friends who were working in separate areas of the healthcare industry. One, a licensed pharmacist, who wanted better medical equipment services to augment the care of his existing customers. The other a mobility specialist, seeking to better serve the end user in and around the Central Valley.
Professionals (ATPs), will meet with you to identify exactly what frame and accessories will provide the best fit with the right combination of seating and positioning. These completely customizable chairs are designed to keep you comfortable, active, safe, and optimized for mobility in your day-to-day life.
Our customers that require highly specialized products to maximize their independence and overall health have significant disabilities such as, neuromuscular diseases, spinal cord injuries and birth disorders. We understand how important mobility and independence are to our customers, which is why our team strives to help you through the process, as we know it can be overwhelming.

I have been receiving care from Primier for about 5 years, I have no idea what is going on, but in the last year or so this office staff has taken a quick decline in follow up and follow through. A few months ago it took me FOUR attempts to get my prescription refilled. I called and stated that I was going out of the country and needed it refilled as I did not have enough medication for the entire trip.

Long story short, it was never called in and I was forced to travel without my thyroid medication - when I returned from my trip, called again. again, never called in. I spoke with someone on the phone and the stated they could see my requests in the notes, again, still not called in. FINALLY - after the fourth attempt, I was able to get my medication.

Fast forward to this past week. I went in for bloodwork and was told I would be called to discuss - The lab sent results to me over a week ago, so I know that the office received them as well. No phone call - so I called to make an appointment. I left a voice mail, no return call. I called again - I spoke with someone who said someone would call me back to make an appointment. Im still waiting.

I called this morning, no answer. I will be transferring my records elsewhere. It shouldn't be that difficult to get a prescription refill or an appointment made. There are far too many quality doctors/offices to continue to deal with this lack of follow through and the frustration that it brings.

They don't seem to care about anyone. Front desk lady says no new patients until July, 5 minutes later another employee says yes we're taking new patients. They won't make an appointment until you fill out paperwork. Other reviews don't look so good

Every time I need to schedule an appointment or get a nurse on the line I have to call MULTIPLE times, get forwarded to someone else, don't receive calls back after leaving messages, etc etc! It should NOT be this difficult to get in touch to your office! Today I called 7 times and have not had a single call answered. This is ridiculous.

I've been going here close to a year, and in the beginning it was good. Not lately. The staff is terrible. I called yesterday to schedule an appointment, and called today to confirm appointment, the front desk lately never scheduled it after she told me she was going to. This office will have a rude awakening. I asked her if she's the one I spoke to yesterday, she said no.

She's definitely lying. Why lie, own up to your actions. Now I have to wait LONGER for an appointment, that probably got fake scheduled again. As a patient who has referred this office to other people, never again. My situation was an emergency, and now I'm waiting longer. Thanks for that.

I have been assigned this place through my Insurance and believe me when I say it's the worst place ever! I have had this place as my primary care facility since sept 2021 and it is now March 2022 and I have never been able to speak to someone to schedule an appointment and ask important questions. This is horrible. Changing them immediately!

I've received care from most members of the PremierMED staff over the past several years. I give them five stars for their care, knowledge, patience and flexibility. My PCP is Dr Langley. He is not only a remarkable physician, but an amazing educator. I've learned so much from him about my health during my visits. He is thorough, answers all my questions (and follow-up questions), and has never made me feel rushed. Two thumbs up for PremierMED!

Great doctors/APRN's! The MA Braydee is amazing! Very helpful with a quick response. Even on her day off, she was getting in touch with the doctor for my husband and helping us get answers along with scheduling him for a needed follow up. Talk about great service!

I had been searching for a new primary and went to visit Premier Med. After asking several questions to the ladies behind the desk, Stephanie Gisler met me in the waiting room where we had a 15 minute conversation about this practice. Based upon her willingness to spend time with a prospective patient and our conversation I decided to join the practice. I am very pleased with this group. They are top notch.

I have been to the practice twice and saw Heather both times. Heather is great. I have used the portal to send messages but you do not have Heather as someone I can select as a provider to send my messages to. So, I am forced to just grab whatever doctor is on the list. Then, you guys don't actually read patient-sent portal messages, so it is a waste of time. Example: when I made my appointment over the phone, I told the front desk lady that in addition to a med follow-up, I wanted a DTAP vaccine (new grand baby coming).

She said she would make a note. A week before my appointment I went onto the portal and sent a message reminding your office that I wanted the DTAP. Nobody replied confirmation. Sure enough, when I arrived for my appointment, your office had no idea that I wanted the vaccine. A large part of how a patient judges a practice is how good the front office is, which includes the tech you have in place to make things more "efficient".

The portal is not efficient. Your front desk personnel are not efficient. I also had to remind the payment lady that I needed to pay for the DTAP. She then charged me the incorrect amount, but by then, I had enough correcting your staff and just went with it. Med personnel - great. Front desk personnel and tech - not great.

Tried to call to schedule new patient appointments but was redirected to send in paperwork to their email. I did this and it's been 3 days and still no one has called to schedule us. I tried to call the other day and was greeted by what appeared to be an outsourced agency who told me I needed to wait to receive a call after they had a chance to process our new patient forms in order to get scheduled.

It should not be this difficult to schedule appointments for a primary care physician. With so many options for medical providers out there I am a surprised this business doesn't seem to care about what the new patient experience is like. Terrible.
