De Bruin Mark I Do

Been here many times. Many times the Dr. is in to see you for only 2 minutes or so it seems. Last time as with other times, I didn't even get out all that I had concerns about. I don't expect to have to be super aggressive to get some adequate amount of time and care. Like others, it's always, come back in 2 weeks or a month. Weirdly, the person checking my BP/heart rate also told me "I can't tell you" what they were. Huh?

Two or three times he didn't even know why I was there and didn't specifically ask upfront - that was probably not his fault? When you call I kind of doubt they are taking down information or passing it along. I've felt intimidated several times by the doctor's attitude. Still folks going in and out with no masks and nothing is said to them, in fact, the receptionist is jawing and laughing with them.

Worst doctor I ever had! After 6 months of mid diagnoses I went to emergency room, er doctor called out my issues before even doing any test. I ended up having 18 of my colon removed and had to wear a colostomy bag for 8 months at 37 years old! If I can give no stars I would. Do not go to this doctor unless you have a death wish! He was my worst decision I have ever made! Save yourself

My husband and boys like him because he is straight, to the point, you have your appointment at a set time, and he sees you at that time. My husband hates going to the doctor, but likes this about him. You are not sitting around in the waiting room forever. We call at the last minute, and his staff gets us in as soon as they can. He is right down the street from us.

I can understand why some people may want to be listened to more thoroughly, or may not like what he says, and he may tell you things you don't want to hear, but that is his job, to keep you healthy. He sees you, tells you what you need to do, and he is a realist. So if you want a Doctor that is going to be straight with you about your problems and not baby you, he is a good Doctor. Our family has had him as Primary Care Doctor for the last 10 years or so.

Our family moved here 1990 and started going to see Dr Debruin, we have always been treated like VIP s. His staff is friendly and works diligently to schedule appointments and referrals if needed for 30 years doc and his staff have always been available to answer questions over the phone and on office visits. his knowledge on physical activity has helped us to stay healthy to do many marathons injury free.

In emergency situations even for visiting family, doc and his staff would always return calls and help with the problems. I highly recommend Dr Debruin for family care, we love and appreciate Dr Debruin and his staff.

I had the opportunity of completing my externship at Dr. Debruin's medical center and everyone working in this clinic is a pleasure to be around. The doctor is amazing. However, if your looking for a doctor to tell you what you what to hear and write meaningless prescriptions; this isn't the place for you. I have seen reviews about him being a little quick between patients.

How about you try and accommodate 50 to 75 patients in a day and tell me how you'd be. This doctor is amazing! Within my externship I haven't seen a patient wait longer than 10-15 mins Max to be seen. Most of the time we are calling patients back before their seat gets warm. If that isn't excellence I'm not sure what is. I myself think Dr. Debruin is nothing short of a goal everyone in the medical field should try to reach. Front and back office representativs are amazing and they are always on their job. Amazingly they do it all day everyday with smiles on their faces. I love you all

I have been a patient of Dr. DeBruin for about 2 years now. I have been reading all the comments below about Dr. DeBruin trying to find the best words to express my feelings about him and about his medical staff. Patients writing anything derogatory about his office staff, (especially Denise), are just flat out lying, in my opinion! As for Dr. DeBruin, let me tell you my experience.

I personally like getting in and out of my appointments with ANY doctor as fast as I can, but for any patient to say he doesn't care, or he herds you in and out, or that he doesn't listen to you, they are angry about not getting what they wanted from him, a prescription he felt they didn't need, or maybe wanted him to falsify a note for their job, etc.

Those patients came in for an alternative motive. That is my personal opinion. Dr. DeBruin removed a mole from my back, it turned out to be melanoma, he made sure I was referred to the best dermatologist in this area, Denise, in the front office, contacted and set up my referral to a dermatologist surgeon, I am happy to say I am cancer free. Last week I was so sick and went to a clinic because it was a Saturday where they diagnosed me with a bad chest cold, without giving me a chest x-ray.

They did prescribe me with medication but it didn't seem to be helping. My monthly appointment with Dr. DeBruin was that next Wednesday. He saw how sick I was just by looking at me, he called his medical assistants in and had them give me a chest x-ray, (that he has in his office), said I had pneumonia, told me to discontinue the meds I got from the clinic, prescribed me medication he had in his office, (and that was nice because the thought of going anywhere else that day wasn't going to happen), and I am now well and quit smoking!

My point is this, Dr. DeBruin is a great doctor, but if you go in to his office looking for what you think YOU need, he may not agree with you, he has a job to do, it is to make sure you are healthy, and doing the best that you can do. Everything else he provides is a plus, the x-ray machine in the office, medicines, cosmetic procedures, weight loss, etc. So people, if you are looking for an awesome doctor, medical assistants, & office staff, go to DeBruin Medical Center in Orangevale. Dr. Mark DeBruin has been my primary doctor for over 25 years. I'm very comfortable recommending him to anyone seeking a competent, professional and practical physician. My experience with both him and his staff has been fantastic over the years.

Like most men, bit reluctant to see a doctor, in fact went a number of years without a primary care physician. That said, can't say enough about Dr. DeBruin and his staff who are always kind and courteous. I especially appreciate his thoroughness and efficiency both in medicine and in business. If you have an appointment at 9:15, you get seen at 9:15. Cheers to Dr. DeBruin and his staff in the new year, here's to a healthy and happy 2019!

My experience with Dr. DeBruins office has always been a positive one. Dr always walks in the door with my file in hand, I have a few medical issues he keeps an eye on better than I do. Makes me aware of changes sometimes I don't notice. Also reminds me when I'm not doing what I should. (Don't like it but it's true). The office stays pretty much on schedule.

I'm not waiting 20 - 30 min past my scheduled time, Dr Debruin is always on time. I have asked to be seen last min problem and staff has made it happen for me. The staff both front and back office are on there game love the girls. Dr Dr. DeBruin is great I love this practice.

I have been going to Dr. DeBruin for the past year and have been extremely pleased with the level of care and service that he and his office provide. After having switched doctors recently, Dr. DeBruin has consistently proved that he genuinely cares about the health of his patients and their quality of life. He has not just put a "bandaid" on my symptoms, but he has treated the problem so I can live my best life. I appreciate his attention to detail, professionalism, and accurate treatment and recommend him to anyone seeking a doctor they can trust.

Dr. DeBruin and his staff are hands down, the best! I've been a patient of Dr. Debruin for 20 years, as are some of my family members and friends. He is a kind, attentive and thoughtful doctor, always willing to help you whenever you're in need. Highly recommended him!

I have been a patient of Dr. DeBruin for over 20 years. My previous doctor joined a medical group and every time I had an appointment with him I would see the nurse practitioner instead. When I started asking friends for recommendations for a new doctor, Doctor DeBruin was highly recommended. He has a private practice and when you have an. appointment with Dr. DeBruin that is who you see.

I have been extremely satisfied with the treatment I have received from him. When I have medical problems he not only treats them, but follows through to the end to make sure I have fully recovered. Occasionally I have needed to see a specialist for a specific problem and on those occasions Dr. DeBruin has always recommended extremely competent doctors who I have felt very comfortable with.

When I am well everything is fine, but when I have an ailment I am confident that Dr. DeBruin will see me personally and give me the help or advise that will get me going again. I am very fortunate that I have such a caring and competent doctor to get me through the bumps in the road of life.

So glad I found a good doctor close to home. Only took 2 yrs. Everyone is great and very nice! Not every day one can find a Dr experienced in so many fields.
