I had 3 consultations. I chose Dr. Mabourakh for several reasons: he has been in practice a number of years, his results are excellent, he does drainless tummy tucks, he is easy to talk to, and his staff are kind. At our consultation, he addressed all my questions before I asked. It was a pleasant surprise. That goes to show how thorough and experienced he is.
At 11 weeks post-surgery, I look and feel terrific. I have no dog ears, my scar is thin and straight, and my navel is cute as a button. I've healed nicely. From the consultation to my latest post-op appointment, the staff have been top notch - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, responsive, and kind. As at all medical offices, sometimes I was seen shortly after my appointment time and sometimes I was seen right on time. Dr. Mabourakh's suite is clean, orderly, and comfortable. Dr. Mabourakh is non-judgmental, caring, confident, a good listener, courteous, and respectful. I would recommend him to everyone who asks for the name of a great plastic surgeon.

I am very pleased with my results! I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo to the hips. Dr. Mabourakh is a true hidden gem! My incision has healed amazingly and I have had no complications after the procedure. He is well trained and very knowledgeable at what he does. My results are very natural looking. His staff is professional, attentive, and caring. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have this procedure done.

I am one month out from my breast augmentation. I incredibly happy with the results and this will not be the last procedure I have with Dr. Mabourakh. I appreciate Dr. Mahbourakh's experience, knowledge and talent. I was confident and trusting of his suggestions and work. In addition to his skill, he was patient with my indecisiveness and allowed me to try on countless implants.
I will say that Dr. Mahbourakh is not chatty which can be worrisome but I assure you to just trust him and the process. Lastly, I never had a bad experience with his staff. Everyone from receptionists to nurses and even the anesthesiologist were so kind and made me feel comfortable when I was fearful of the surgery. I look forward to my next procedure!

Dr. Mabourakh and his staff are amazing! I have been wanting a breast augmentation since high school and was referred to Dr. Mabourakh. I made a consultation and after the visit, set up my surgery date right then. I did my surgery In Folsom, and the staff was wonderful. They made me feel welcomed and less nervous for my surgery. I am 1 month post op and could not be more in love with my results! Dr. M is truly one of the best!

Thank sooooo much Dr. Mabourakh and your team for fixing me up to make me feel my BEST! My previous breast implant that was done by a different surgeon had a severe capsular contracture but Dr. M cleaned it all up and now I finally got myself back and I feel great to have just the moderate size I've always wanted which look so natural at my age. This whole team and the doctor were great from the very beginning. From my initial inquiries via email to my consultation, my appointment thereafter, surgery and post op-appointment. I came here for juvederm in my lips and left looking like a duck! No pout at all just the outline of my lips sticking way out! I reached out to the staff immediately and several days later but they assured me it would "calm down" and worse case scenario in three months I would be completely satisfied. It's been months and they still look awful so I went in to try to get them fixed but the doctor just wanted me to spend more money stating I would need to purchase another syringe to get the look I want. I refuse to spend anymore money there I will never go back and wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy!

I have so much to thank to Dr. M and his team. I was so comfortable after the first consultation and I believed he would do his very best to fix my unsymmetrical breasts. I had a different consultation in the Modesto area and it made me feel insecure about surgery. after hearing Dr. M's ideas and what he would to best compromise my situation I was 100% comfortable in putting my body in his hands and now I am 100% in love with my results. getting a breast augmentation by him was by far my best decision I highly recommend him he made exactly what I wanted soft and natural looking but still noticeable and sexy

My experience with Dr Mabourakh was amazing! I had a breast lift with implants. And let me just say this. that man's hands do unbelievable work. He's definitely an artist. He's perfection! Everyone who works there are the best and are so sweet. They make you feel completely comfortable, any questions I had were answered. There are no words to express how grateful and happy I am with the Dr Mabourakh and to everyone there.

I went for a consult for a breast reduction/lift with Dr Mabourakh, after talking/meeting with him I knew I wanted my surgery done by him. He made me feel very comfortable and worry-less about such a big procedure I wanted to done. Him and his staff are very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. They made the process so easy and I couldn't be happier with the results. All I can say is. Thank you Dr Mabourakh and staff for the awesome job and customer service! I had a breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Mabourakh & his lovely staff. My experience was very good. The staff answered all of my questions that I had throughout the process. Dr. Mabourakh himself is very precise and excellent at his craft. I did A LOT of research on the type of breasts I wanted and A LOT of research for the right surgeon to perform the surgery.
I am so glad that I decided on Dr. Mabourakh. All of my expectations were met. I had wanted large implants but also wanted them to appear full and natural-looking. By far one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered! I scheduled a consultation back in feb 2016 to interview Dr. Mabourakh to see if he was a qualified candidate to preform my breast reduction. I paid a $60 consultation fee witch did not bother me at all even though I informed the office I was going through insurance. Upon my arrival I was appalled with the location of his office, dirty location. Dr. Mabourakh seemed like a very pleasant/nice doctor, boy was I wrong.
Everything was going well until he found out I was not going to pay cash but was going through my insurance. He excused himself from the room and went to talk to his front office, when he returned he asked me if I had informed his staff about this and of course I did. He then transferred me to his pre-op room and right off the back he told me I charge a $150 fee to submit an authorization, umm ok.
I decided to go ahead and pay the fee. He then took pictures of my breast and told me he was going to submit the auth but it was very difficult to get anything approved by my insurance. I decided to ask my PCP and pain management doctor for a letter of recommendation to submit with my auth so the chances of getting approved were greater. Two weeks later after the office manger "Maggie" submitted the auth I rcvd an email from her simply stating the auth was denied.
I emailed her back and told her I would appeal the denial, did not hear back from her at all, very professional right. After waiting about 40 days I called my insurance and was informed my appeal was approved, I was so excited, finally my back pain would be gone. I emailed Maggie the approval letter then she emailed me back that she had to show the physician the auth letter because the cpt code description stated "repositioning of the breast".
At this point I was upset and gave her a call, I told her she had submitted that cpt code from the beginning the only thing I did was appeal the denial. Meanwhile I had rcvd a statement from the office stating I owed an additional $60 for the consultation, a total of $120 I had to pay out of pocket. I called to discuss my bill but Maggie was on lunch and had to return my call.
Never did I rcve a call but I sure did rcve another statement asking me to please pay. I decided to call my insurance to clarify things, to my surprise I only had a copay of $25 not $120 that was stated. I informed Maggie of what was going on and she asked me to email her my EOB. They owed me a refund of $35 but once I emailed her my EOB never again was it brought up.
I emailed her once again since I had not heard back from her to see if the doctor would accept the letter, apparently he was on vacation. A week later a rcvd an email from her stating Dr. Mabourakh could not accept the auth letter because it stated this is not a guarantee of payment, another excuse. I have been working in the medical field a little over nine years now and never ever in that period have I seen an authorization state otherwise.
I emailed her asking for the physician to give me a call but instead she set up an appointment for me. Keep in mind five months have gone by. After waiting two weeks I finally had my appointment yesterday and wow it so rude and unprofessional. He entered the room with no manners and right of the back told me I can not accept this, I will not get paid, it states this is not a guarantee of payment.
I then told him I specialize in billing and have never seen an auth that states otherwise and his quick response was I been doing this 20 + years and I can not do this. I saw Dr. Mabourakh and I walked out of his office very confident that he was the right doctor for me! I was referred to him by a couple of great girl friends. I was on time for my appointment. I waited in the reception area for 5 minutes(staff very nice and helpful) and saw the doc within another 5 minutes. Dr. Mabourakh was an excellent listener, caring and spent time with me and addressed my concerns.
He was a very clear communicator. I left feeling as if I was in good hands. I would recommend him to anyone. The day of surgery, I was a bit nervous but who isn't prior to surgery. The staff and Dr. Mabourakh were very comforting and made me feel at ease. Once my procedure was done, I was a bit swollen but after a few days, I couldn't believe the compliments I was receiving.
