Upon being directed to admin to a woman named Jennifer Myers I suddenly realized why I've experienced so many problems not only with this hospital but with other doctors offices in the area affiliated with this hospital I had set a long lengthy email to Jennifer Myers explaining in detail the negligence I have suffered and that my son has suffered the loss of my blood work somewhere in the hospital having to go to the lab repeatedly getting multiple tubes of blood drawn due to the fact that doctors affiliated with this hospital don't know how to write out proper paperwork to request the proper test done which has caused me to get over 30 tubes of blood drawn in the last two months the allergist here that everybody's bragging about decided to take a Florida vacation leaving all her patients high and dry leaving us all to have to reschedule I had allergy testing done I had called the doctor's office affiliated with this hospital letting them know I was having allergic reactions that I needed to know what I was allergic to I was told that I would have to wait for the doctor to read me my blood test results but that she was not in California because she decided to take a Florida trip and nobody knew when she was coming back upon writing a lengthy email to Jennifer Myers I received a email from her a couple days later not even a paragraph long basically stating the doctor's back call and make an appointment none of my concerns were addressed by her including the lab in the hospital losing my blood it is obvious that Jennifer Myers is not concerned about the well-being of patients she is not at all concerned about how we are being treated I am in the process of getting to the right person to file the proper paperwork in the hopes that it would get someone's attention that would actually take the time to investigate the negligence and abuse that me and my son have had to suffer and obviously after reading all the reviews about this hospital it is not a isolated incident that we had endured I have been warned about the reputation about this hospital and the doctors affiliated with this hospital it is unexcusable the way that they have treated me and my son eventually people and many other people someone needs to investigate this place before they kill somebody I would not be surprised if they hadn't already done that yet after reading all the reviews that I have read it's sickening what these people have been able to get away with for so long

Since that made all the changes and built it up they are charging an ar and keg for a band aid and water. for a band aid it cost $75.00 and for a water it was $5.00 for a simply glass what a total RIP off

Some of the staff is OK, but overall there is little regard for patients' welfare or comfort. The food is unhealthy and loaded with salt. Forget even trying to sleep at night. Load, noisy conversations and laughter from staff all night long. The county jail might be better.

I'm sure the hospital is understaffed. But, there is no reason for them to forget to feed their patients even after requesting several times when will breakfast be served. Have no restrictions on food so not like a dr order saying no food. 10 in the afternoon still nothing. Been here since 5 p.m yesterday finally got my pain med at 730 a.m.

Took dad here because he had sharp abdominal pain, symptoms of appendicitis. Got blood drawn and proceeded to wait for 7 hours. Left and drove the extra 30 minutes to Enloe, checked in and got seen in almost an hour.

Complete utter trash. Oroville hospital does not care for their patients in the er they left us sitting here for over 5 hours waiting to get an exam. After my boyfriend came in complaining about a very painful headache going on for multiple days now. In the process over 4 people left the ER because they were not receiving the care they came in looking for.

They were all elderly two of them almost fainting on the way out. We continue to wait but as of today Oroville hospital has proven they cannot keep up with all the work in the building. Very disappointed.

I can never thank the hospital staff enough! I was admitted to the ER for a broken wrist. My nurses and doctors were super nice and understandings. The people who write bad reviews about this place are wrong. I have been in the ER at least 3 times in my life, and I was completely satisfied with the care and treatment I was given. For that, I am eternally grateful for. I love you all! Keep up the great work and continue to make the world a better place!

Spent 8 hours as 2nd in line just end up leaving and still getting billed over $1k just for blood draws

I got a bill from oroville hospital recently, but I have never been to oroville hospital for any reason. The bill doesn't isn't say what services it was and their billing department was not helpful.

Place is a joke wait in the emergency room for 4 plus hrs just to be put into another room to wait.

Threw out our experience of having a baby, RN Jasmine was our first nurse who helped get us settled in and ready. RN Robin was beyond helpful and went out of her way to ensure the mother was comfortable and receiving top quality care. MD Waran Professionally delivered our first baby boy @ 8.15lb, witch he made look easy. Also encourage me as the father to be more involved and am glad I experienced what I saw and cut the cord.

The on call pediatrician was beyond disrespectful and unwilling to look at the risk of covid 19 exposure in a hospital vs taking a healthy baby and wife home. His lack of intelligence and understanding was beyond disrespectful as he tried to force my hand into putting my family in harms way (PS the hospital cannot hold you against your own will) The ob techs and staff were respectful and understanding. Would still give 5 stars, due to how little time had to be spent with on call pediatrician, and how great of service RN Robbin gave us

My brother in law went for routine blood work and they couldn't find a vein on his right arm so they tried his left arm and poked him three times and he was blue and purple with a huge bruise by the end of the day! 5 days later he still has a huge bruise and you can tell where they tried to make him on the first arm!

I was at ER sept 16th in great pain. I waited 8 hrs to get a exam. A lady had a seizure in the bathroom hit her head blood was apparent. They put a neck brace on her and she still had to wait. One of the assistants asked me what brand my pacemaker was n I had only had it in for a week. I said I dnt know as I was crying in pain. He said ur killing me.

I said look it up. He laughed and walked away. 6 days in hospital to be told I had pleurisy. Hospital was dirty. 3 weeks later I had spasms again but I got a ride to a Enloe. Very clean everyone was polite and compassionate If u can please get to Enloe

Went in at 11 pm they didn't see me tell the next following day I called at 7 am and I wast even up next. They seem to serve all the drugged up people before serving there acule sick people. This hospital really disappointed me.

So this morning I was just fed up with the yelling fighting and bitchin at Oroville Hospital The staff is so over worked and stressed out they go nice to crazy Karen in a flip They did help me but the stress and the weird snapping just beat me down. A man got trap in his bed could not reach his call button so I call for him and got yelled at cause she was not his nurse Plus non stop they openly talk about quitting and looking for other job also they talk smack about the patients in front of everyone how unprofessional.

Some of which is medical records hippa violation So this morning I said to charge nurse said please prepare me to leave at 7 am they messed around did not believe me so I at 7 am I asked for my main to be removed they yelled at me so I went to remove it they really freak I asked for my private they would not so I started to head for the front door but I got lost so then they realized I ment what I said

Avoid at all costs. Drive to Chico if possible. Nurses in main entrance were extremely unprofessional. I talked to someone in a car crash who was in pain and he let me know that he had not been seen for 12.5 hours. Lady in waiting room could hardly breathe and was not being assisted. This place is an absolute shit show. I've been waiting to be seen for 5+ hours and my vision loss is getting worse and worse. I'm going to have my sister drive me to Davis instead.

Stay away from this Hospital. The best advice I can give anyone. They almost killed me. They sent me home with an IV in my arm for an entire week. I thought it was odd but I'm not a doctor, so I was oblivious to know any better. I went to work like that and just kept my arm wrapped. I went in for daily injections for a serious infection and the IV got infected and I had a terrible allergic reaction to whatever antibiotic they were giving me.

My entire body broke out into huge red hives, my blood pressure dropped dangerously low and I had an extremely high fever. I had a family member take me to a different hospital, which saved my life. They couldn't believe that Oroville hospital left an IV in my arm like that and were appalled by the service and lack of care I received. Stay away from this place please.

Words can't even describe how awful this place is. Short story short 6 hours and still not even in a room. Lol. Only 4 people when I got into the lobby. Nobody could give us a possible wait time. It was horrible.

This hospital is not known for cleanliness. I went to ER for a life threatening bite (3am).the ER Dr was 5 star. I was admitted immediately. Most of the nurses are very nice but there's that handful that really make this place look bad. There are several nite nurses that need to hang up there stethoscopes. They make this place look like a zoo.

They are loud and play around quite a bit. Let's face it the hospital isn't a place to get rest but, several of the night nurses make it intolerable and extremely uncomfortable. They play around very loudly laughing and holler down the hallways discussing what there weekend plans are or what there going to eat, etc, . If you need help like maybe emptying the trash from the patient in the next bed that wears briefs.guess what there not going to help you.hold your breath or get mad!

If you have an elderly parent choose another place. I must add my Drs were great, but what a nite mare this hospital is. Hopefully when the new hospital opens it will be better!

Had an ultrasound and mammogram at Oroville women's imaging clinic. From the time I was met at the door and my temperature was taken to being walked out the door by a staff member. I was treated with professionalism and kindness by Sue, Carol and Fred the radiologist. They were so helpful and informative. They made me comfortable and decreased my stress. Thank you!

I couldn't have been happier with the care I received at Oroville hospital. Over the past month, I've had 2 procedures in the operating room and one in the endoscopy clinic. Each time, I was met by kind and compassionate staff that were fully dedicated to my well being and ensuring that my medical needs were taken care of in a timely way, from registration through discharge. Was particularly impressed with the operating room staff who clearly take pride in their craft and run a clean, well functioning operation.

On the physician side, Dr Skau (General Surgery), Dr Osifo (anesthesiologist) and Dr Dalal (GI) were each did outstanding work and went above and left me with an excellent outcome. Yes, some of the facilities are old and in need of upgrade, but that is what the new hospital tower is for! We are very fortunate to have such a strong team of caring healthcare professionals serving our community.

If I could give this place a minus I would. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The shit show of nurses, Drs and discharge team is beyond unprofessional. My sister was called today my Monica. Monica told her my mom was being released today. (News to us). My mom had been diagnosed with pnemonia in Thursday and the Dr said probably 5 days until she can come home.

And she would be on hospice. So, my mom shows up in a non medical transportation van, there is no bed, no oxygen or wheelchair at my sister's home. They sat out in the driveway for 1 hour. My mom has to have oxygen so being without oxygen and leaving her at the house was not an option. If that isn't a form of elderly abuse I don't know what it.

They then took my mom back to the hospital because the nurse Monica hadn't done her job. Monica blamed my sister and told her it was up to her to take care of it all. Monica isn't the only incompetent nurse. There was one named Jen who yelled at me because she was frustrated and told me my mom wasn't her only patient. I said to this Jen, she may not be her only patient, but she is my only mom.

No family or patient should EVER go through this. We pray my mom makes it through the night so she doesn't die alone at this hospital. If you can, go elsewhere. I have never experienced such inhumane treatment to a patient or family.

What a shit hole, they don't give two shits, they don't prioritize patients, all they want is there money Fook this place.

I was taken to ER and then admitted for surgery. I was there for 4 days. I was very pleased with all of the staff, nurses and doctors. They were all very courteous and well trained to attend to all my needs.not just medical. OMG! The food was fantastic! I would definitely recommend them.

This is the worst hospital I've been been too! Lack or urgency and poor communication. Don't come here unless your on your death bed. Because you will be before your see.

This ER is the WORST! When my son got hit by a car last year, we sat in the waiting for 6 hours! He wasnt allowed anything! Not even tylenol. The waiting room is full of druggies looking for their next fix! It's a bunch of bs! Not to mention, but I've been misdiagnosed more than once. AND. my doctor tells me that one of my tests was fine. Nope.

It wasn't. Nor did he tell me that I needed to be rechecked in 6 mos. He probably didnt even read the report. At one of my doc appts, my surgeon in Roseville sent his notes up to Oroville Hospital. When I asked 2 girls in the doctors office if it was there, one didnt look, the other said it wasnt. After calling medical records, I found out it was in fact in my file. She found it in less than 30 seconds. Why couldn't the girls in the office find it? Not that hard.

Going on 6 HOURS of waiting in the waiting room. Do not go here! Stay away! Husband cut his thumb with a skill saw and they've done nothing. I have no idea what the problem is but they are not caring for people.
