Services
Whether you need a podiatrist or foot surgeon, the foot doctors at the Foot Care Group are board certified and leading authorities in their field who frequently give community presentations, in addition to excellence in medical care. Our doctors work with a friendly and efficient staff to provide the best medical care in the region.
Further, we offer state of the art treatment and diagnostic equipment. The Foot Care Group, P.A. is the only regional office to offer Weight baring CT to help diagnose even extremely complex deformities. We have six lasers for various treatment needs, three shock wave machines and In office PRP and Stem Cells as less invasive treatment options.
Your doctor may determine your X-Ray does not provide enough information about your injury and may order a standing CT scan. CT scans provide a complete 3D picture of your bone alignment and joint spaces. The American Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society recommends standing (weight bearing) imaging, when possible, to get the most accurate assessment of the functional bony anatomy of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Haley is a wonderful doctor. He removed my bunion. Through talking with other people who had their bunions removed by other doctors, I expected a painful surgery and long recovery time. I choose Dr. Haley because he explained to me the surgery would not be as painful and long as I expected. He was right! I went to him for other foot problems, too. The office staff and the doctor are really friendly. My husband has a foot problem, and I am sending him to Dr. Haley this week!

I placed a call at 8 am. today and left a message requesting an appointment. When I had no reply by about noon I called and spoke with Jessica who took all my information and made the appt. IN MIDDLETOWN per my request. She repeated the location as I cannot go to Wilmington. When I arrived at Middletow(26+miles) the door was locked and no one was there. Will have to look for someone else. Not happy!

My teenage daughter was at overnight camp at Camp Tockwogh in Maryland. While there, we got a call from the nurse that she had a toe infection from an ingrown toenail and that was getting worse and now she couldn't walk. The nurse had been doing warm epsom salt soaks, but they weren't helping. My daughter also had two other ingrown toenails that weren't as bad.
We tried to get her in with a podiatrist close to the camp but they were booked up for two weeks. I searched for podiatrists in Middletown, Delaware, and Foot Care Group, PA came up. I spoke to the receptionist Andrea who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and was able to give us an appointment within 2 hours! I asked if that would be just a consultation (which would not get my daughter out of pain and back to camp) or if they would do the procedure at the same time.
I was told the procedure would be done at the same time and that she would be seeing Dr. Cody Bowers. The camp sent two counselors to drive my daughter up from Maryland, and we drove down from Wilmington. When we got to the office, we met Andrea and thanked her for getting us in so quickly. We filled out the paperwork and met Dr. Bowers, who was wonderful with my daughter.
He examined her and recommended local anesthetic before removing the bad ingrown toenail. He explained everything thoroughly, and told me the (very reasonable) fee when I asked. He also has a good sense of humor, which helped put my daughter at ease. My daughter did great for the shots for the one toe, and while it was getting numb, he removed the other two ingrown toenails that weren't so bad (no anesthetic was needed for those).
She did great and went right back to camp. We had considered going to an urgent care center if we couldn't get her in with a podiatrist, but I'm glad we didn't go to an urgent care center because Dr. Bowers told me he had already done 7 ingrown toenails on other patients before we arrived that day! I like going to the guy who "shoots fish in a barrel" and does them all day so he gets really good at them and seemed to work very efficiently.
It was a piece of cake for him! If we need foot care in the future, we will definitely return to Dr. Bowers. Fortunately for us, they also have a Wilmington office where Dr. Bowers also works.
