At Heibel Dermatology, we diagnose and treat patients with benign and malignant disorders of the skin, mouth, external genitalia, hair and nails, as well as a number of sexually transmitted diseases. This includes the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, moles, and other tumors of the skin, contact dermatitis and other allergic and non-allergic disorders, and in the recognition of the skin manifestations of systemic (including internal malignancy), and infectious diseases.

The physician, nurses, and support staff undergo continuous training and maintain certification to ensure that the care provided is the most comprehensive, advanced, and thorough available.
At Heibel Dermatology, we provide electrosurgery, cryosurgery (the use of liquid nitrogen), nail surgery, biopsy techniques and excisional surgery of benign or malignant lesions with appropriate closures including grafts and flaps. Mohs micrographically controlled surgery is a specialized technique that your dermatologist may apply in certain situations.

I have seen Dr. Heibel for a couple of visits. Dr. Heibel is very nice, the staff is very nice, but unless you have serious "skin emergencies" your wait for an appointment is 6 months. I called in July trying to schedule an appointment for October before we left the state for the winter. I was told the earliest they could see me would be January. I am hurt and disappointed. My prescription expires in October, so I need to make other arrangements for my care.

Dr Heibel and staff have been great to work with. I've been seeing Dr Heibel for over 20 years and he and his staff have been very professional and thorough in checking me over due to my skin cancer issues. I have regular checks 2x/yr and just saw him a couple months ago, but since then I had another spot pop up. I live in Omaha but happen to be in town so I just stopped by to see if I could get a quick look. Fortunately they were able to accommodate and squeeze me in. So thank you for Dr Heibel and his staff! I appreciate you all!

Disorganized, slow, and impersonal. Even if your appointment is the first of the day, plan on waiting 45 minutes. The doctor sometimes makes a cameo in regular appointments, but it is usually only for a moment. Orders are typically late, or not filed at all. We've switched all but one child to other offices, and it's shocking how much better they are.

My son and I have both gone to Dr. Heibel for several years and he as always been so gracious with his time and done a great job. We had a bad experience in an emergency setting with a mis-diagnosis by a different Dr. and then went to Dr. Heibel and he diagnosed it right away. His "bedside manner" is A plus, which is really important to me.

Heibel Dermatology is the place to go to have a true professional handle your case. They are always overly accommodating and straight forward with the information necessary for treatment. I've trusted Dr. Heibel for years with care for myself and my kids who have a family history of melanoma. If you are looking for the best dermatology experience; see Dr. Mark Heibel. I have been a patient since 2003 and have had 15 procedures. The clinic is a relaxing place, the staff is friendly and competent. Dr. Heibel has a great skill set: I have had a variety of issues from moles to basil cells on my face, back, and chest. Dr Heibel has been my dermatologist for around 8 years. I originally went to him with skin cancer on my face. He used the Mohs technique to remove it and stitched it up so perfectly that you can't see the scar unless you know it's there. Since then, I've continued to see Dr Heibel on a yearly basis and have always been extremely satisfied with the service I've received from him, his nursing staff and front desk personnel.
