Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) allows physicians to perform many kinds of major surgery with a variety of benefits for the patient: less trauma and pain, minimal scarring, faster recovery and shorter hospital stays. Surgeries are performed through small incisions, which replace the large incisions needed for conventional open surgeries.

Had an appointment at 9:10 at 9:25 still was not called back so I went up to ask what was going on. They called back to the back and they said it was going to another 30 to 40 minutes of a wait. Someone needs to learn how to schedule appointments because this is crazy having people wait that long to be seen.

Not very happy with my experience at all. Not only was the provider unkind and short but I had to call and leave 3 voicemails before I heard back from someone. After waiting 2 days for my antibiotics I finally called in to find out that they never wrote down the pharmacy name, even after I watched the front desk gal write it down. Overall not happy with the quality of care.

Hadn't even made it to the consultation and already regretting going. The scheduler was rude! I thought so, didn't think too much of it, was sent back to the billing department to make sure we were good for our appointment (she was kind) but it was at the billing department I was told my husbands appt had been changed. He called them back to ask why and the scheduler was extremely rude to him as well! Said she put a letter in the mail yesterday to let us know it had been changed. no phone call, no reason why it was changed. nothing.
As a person in the medical field myself, I will not be referring anyone here nor will they be getting any recommendations. Probably should have read the other reviews before choosing this place, its the same problem.

Horrible place! Went in today with a mask and was told I had to wear their mask so I changed my mask to another that I have and then was approached in the waiting room with my client and told if I dont put their mask on I cant be in there and made me leave, all while the lady telling me I cant have a cloth mask had a cloth mask on! It is bad enough you are violating my rights but then to tell me what kind of mask I have to wear just Horrible! Service here sucks most of the time but today was the topping on the cake!

I've just come through my first trial-by-fire with kidney stones, and I'm a new patient with YU. Many friends are longtime patients and I've never heard a negative comment made about the docs or staff. On a Saturday I became very ill, and Dr. Uhlman was on call. After placing two calls to the answering service, one of their operators called me to let me know he had been in surgery and would call me asap. Dr. Uhlman called 45 minutes later from their office and reviewed my file with me.
He recommended that a stent be put in that evening. When I arrived at Yakima Memorial everything was in place, and all went well. I later learned that Dr. Uhlman had been performing surgeries almost continuously for 24hrs. Yet, he took care of me as if I were the most important patient he had that day - and with much humor. The following Tuesday I was dealing with a major escalation of pain and needed medication. Fortunately, I was already in Yakima for my pre-surgery appointments.
My doctor wasn't going to be back in the office until Wednesday, but the front desk staff got another doctor to help. Within half an hour and after an in-house xray, I was given a perscription and went on my way. Surgery with Dr. Cox went off without a hitch Thursday evening. Few medical offices function as well as Yakima Urology these days.

The front office is the face of your practice. that's as far as I made it. and wanted to leave. nice waiting room, which is good because the wait time is horrific. the front staff is rude. watched as one front desk gave an elder lady attitude when she asked why her wait time was so long. the reply she got was "I can't help if they are behind in the back". when she asked to use the rest room she got a rude "just a minute" that front desk snickered something to the other and they both laughed before the elder lady was told "this way". hopefully this is my only appointment here.over 45 minutes in waiting room so far. finally asked if I need to reschedule. "you're appointment was at 10:30 (it's after 11), you still have 4 people ahead of you. someone else can help you, I'm with a patient" They asked me to be here at 9:30. Would have been nice to see the doctor. pretty sure the front desk had something to say after I left the office.
