Very disappointed in the service at this place. I needed a doctors note for my job and I called first thing in the morning to have my note extended because the medicine they gave me caused me to miss work due to side affects and they could not get my note to me so I could go back to work because they were to "swamped". It takes two minutes to do a note. I know cause that's all it takes when I have an appointment. Staff here seems lazy and terrible. If it weren't for me liking Dr Mark so well I'd leave.

I was surprised to see some of the reviews, since my experiences here have always been positive. Dr. Maiocco is my latest doctor and has always taken time with me, asked pertinent questions, and seems to really care. Their billing is quite reasonable, particularly if you have no insurance but pay up front. Not sure what miracles people are expecting.

They need to change their name to something that doesn't include the word quality, because they don't provide that. Called trying to get some further info on my older friends recent xrays, and the woman in the scheduling department was incredibly rude and for no reason. She was ornery the minute she answered the phone and had major attitude because we chose a time and then had to adjust the time of appointment. I strongly recommended that my friend go elsewhere because clearly these folks don't care about their patients.

I am so glad this office still takes Medicare! Some offices in town will not take Medicare next year, I think that is wrong. The front desk is always pleasant to me. The doctor I see does a lot of blood work, so I feel he has my best interest and health in mind. Thank goodness they are taking Medicare!

During a yearly check-up for our teenage daughter the Nurse practitioner ran some normal blood tests to check our daughters Vitamin D & calcium levels. While they were drawing blood Bonnie added an additional test, with only a passing comment that it was a good idea to check this. 6 Months later we receive a bill from a company in Oregon for $89. Apparently our insurance won't cover it because it's an "Experimental test".
In fact, we were told that no insurance company will cover it because the test was not FDA approved. I feel it's their responsibility to be transparent about the tests they do and if it is experimental and not FDA approved, inform the patient that it wont be covered. I am removing 3 stars from the 5 because of the following: 1. We should have been told it was experimental. 2.
We have now incurred a debt from a business we did not use. 3. Quality care failed to follow through with the "Quality" part of their title, & damaged trust towards one of their medical professionals. I am also concerned that a family with a tight budget & low income could be railroaded into a bill for a situation like this. QCMC took no responsibility for the lack of communication, & how they could prevent the situation repeating for someone else.

I needed to get some back records from this doctors from when I lived in Yakima, I called the records department and spoke to a girl called Jennifer. Jennifer was extremely helpful so helpful that she provided the documents quickly after I signed the release form, and she found the exact documents I was looking for. If only all employees could be as helpful as this girl thank you Jennifer! Also when I attended the doctors when I lived in that area I highly recommend the doctor Bonnie Kulchen!

Unprofessional staff, double billing, rude, and wont fill your prescriptions if you owe a bill. I owed $90 and it wasn't even due yet and I couldn't get my meds refilled until I paid the $90. Thank goodness it wasn't a life or death medication! I had appt with the PA there and he looked like he just came off the streets! As soon as he came in the room, he said nothing and starting writing a rx for me.
I asked what it was for and he said for my hemorrhoids! what?! I don't even have hemorrhoids! He didn't ask what my symptoms were, he didn't introduce himself, nothing! He just writes a rx and sends me on my way. I am so done with this place!

I'm giving up on this place. I find the staff dysfunctional, ie. loosing test results, not returning phone calls, issues with prescriptions being called in. The worst was with a simple bone density test. I had the scan done and scheduled the appointment to review the results. The doctor gave me a copy of the results showing I needed treatment but was sidetracked with another issue, ending with my not receiving treatment.
The next week I received a phone call asking me to come in to review the results of my bone density test and I thought, cool, I'll get the treatment that was forgotten the week before. I went in only to find out that they hadn't received the results of my bone scan yet?! I keep copies of all my test results on a file on my phone and told her I had the copy.
She asked where I got it and I told her that I got them from her the previous week! Long story short, I left without treatment as I couldn't email the file I had to anyone there as they just didn't digitally work that way. Before leaving I asked her RN if she would please send me copies of all test results in my file of everything, thinking of trying to get treatment somewhere else. I'm still waiting.
My pharmacy and I called to ask if they would help with a prescription only to receive a message on my phone stating the prescription was called in, only the pharmacy didn't receive it, twice. Still waiting. I'm giving up on this place.

After being a patient since 2004 I called to set up my appointment for my annual exam as well as request prescription refills. Turns out my doctor retired in December and no one bothered to send a letter to inform me. Now I'm stuck waiting 3 weeks at a new office and have to rush to get my I records transferred and go without my medications. That's what I call unquality care and a slap in the face to someone who has been a patient for 14 years!

My mother's doctor is great. She listens to her problems and prescribes medicine quickly. However, I am disappointed at their billing staff. My mother went in today for a scheduled appointment. She was refused medical treatment because she owed $100 on a bill and has absolutely no money at the moment. Her rent is sky high and Social Security cut her check by almost $200.
Basically they refused to let her see the doctor.and forced her to reschedule because she has an outstanding balance. This is disgusting! She is disabled and can't work, and SS is cutting her check because WA won't pay her Medicare Part B anymore. Don't go here if you are poor and live paycheck-to-paycheck! They put $$$ before their patients!

If I could give this place a zero I would. There was only one doctor there that I actually liked and he is no longer there. They make themselves so over booked that they don't have time to give "quality care" to their patients. The doctor I saw I had never seen before. She didn't listen to me, didn't want to hear what I had to say, she didn't talk to me about all of the issues that I had, and rushed me out.
I arrived at the clinic at 9:15 am and was sitting in my car by 9:30 am. This is after sitting for over five minutes, talking with the nurse for five minutes, waiting for the doctor to come in, seeing the doctor and checking out for five minutes. so the doctor only gave me less than five minutes of her time. TERRIBLE! I will never go back. I am not a product on an assembly line, I am a human that deserves to be heard. How can you make proper medical advice without listening to your patient and how they have been feeling and what has been happening to them. Hate them, never again.

After a really long debate about going to see another doctor, ( i recently moved to Yakima after 6 months in Sunnyside) i decided the drive just was too far to keep seeing my primary care. I went into the office in a LOT of pain. I was promised 3 referrals to specialists for various things and here I sit 3 months later still in pain, no pain pills, no referrals no help what so ever.
I even called the referral coordinator on 3 different occasions to try and follow up myself about the promised appointments. There was an excuse every time. The first time she told me it was going to take some time to authorize with my insurance. Then the 2nd time, about a month later, one of the clinics in tri cities didn't accept my insurance. The 3rd and finial time they claimed that my insurance claimed to have never gotten the referral and they had the audacity to call me this morning and ask me if i was going to keep my 3 month follow up appointment. This place is super horrible, I wouldn't recommend this to ANYONE especially if you're in any kind of pain.
