Dr. Kosko grew up in Greenwood, Mississippi where he learned to love ophthalmology at a young age through observing his father (Paul I. Kosko, M.D.) who practiced ophthalmology in Mississippi and loved and served his patients selflessly for over 40 years. The younger Dr. Kosko graduated in the top 10 of his medical school class from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor. He became Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2015.

Wait time was horrible. Went in for eye exam and was charged for something else. Had eye insurance and the girl said I wasn't a member. Had to pay almost 200.00 out of pocket. Called my insurance and was told I was very active. The girl made my husband an appointment with a specialist. Gave him a card with April 1 on it. Drove over an hour and was told the appointment was not until April 21. She wrote the wrong date on the card. Was not satisfied at all!

The office, wait time, and doctor were great at the Madison location. I've been trying to reorder more contacts for several months and have left numerous voicmails on their optical boutique line requesting a call back and have yet to get one, and I placed an online contact reorder via their website. I don't know if they need more help or what, but I probably won't be going back since it's this difficult to order more contacts.

Although I had a great experience at the office in Maddison, I will not be back to the office I Jackson. My little boys school eye exam came back saying he is farsighted. I got a referral from his dr and scheduled his appointment 2 months ago. Today was his appointment, keep in mind his referral said that he is farsighted. All this drs office did was take an hour and a half to call him back, then an hour to exam him, and then told me the same thing his school exam said and that I had to dilate his eyes at home and come back. So I went to the checkout desk to schedule that appointment and guess what. they can't see home again until January 18th! I am highly disappointed!

I have been seeing Dr. Robert Mallett for the last 15 years and would never consider changing. Though, I did try another eye glass retail store last year, I will never make that mistake again! i recently went back to JEA Boutique and was assisted by Stephanie Sims. She took a great deal of time with me and asked all the right questions so I got exactly what I needed for both my recreational and professional needs.
My progressive lens are so perfect that I never ever take them off or put them on top of my head. Seriously, no matter what I am viewing, I can see without having to move my glasses. I cannot begin to tell you how much easier this makes my life. Thanks, JEA!

Dr. John McVey has treated me for blepharospasm for many years. He is not only an excellent ophthalmologist, he is a kind and compassionate doctor. I trust him implicitly and recommend him highly to anyone in search of an ophthalmologist. The staff members I've encountered at JEA are all competent, helpful and courteous as well. J. Denman
