I spent hours looking for a fertility clinic and finally chose this place. And so glad I did! Their price for IVF packages was a lot more affordable than most places I looked at. We had nothing but an good experience here. Thanks to Dr. Stoelk and his team we are finally parents to a beautiful set of twins.

Good doctor, very old school. I like that he won't do extra testing unless there's a problem. However, I was told to come back when I lose weight, I did lose some weight but still not enough after 6 months, and due to my age I didn't think I should continue to wait any longer. So I went to OHSU and got good results with Dr. Wu in spite of my weight. Glad I did IVF before I hit 35.

We cannot express enough the immense gratitude for the positive experience we had with Dr. Stoelk and his team. Great communication and teamwork. We were "long-term" patients with the team through the ups and downs of trying to conceive. We weren't always patient as one is always excited to graduate to the next step; but we are thankful that we had Dr. Stoelk by our side- he truly had our best interests at heart through it all.

I was referred to Dr. Stoelk after several miscarriages that did not have a straightforward cause. In our first visit Dr. Stoelk correctly hypothesized the issue, which had gone undiagnosed for nearly 2 decades! He, and his team, were unbelievably supportive through the process of trying to conceive (including phone calls well into the evening to discuss treatment, and magic with insurance billing). We welcomed a baby boy earlier this month & are so, so grateful to everyone at Northwest Fertility for helping us!

I've had two ectopic pregnancies both ending in salpingectomies. No underlying medical conditions or past conditions that would've put me at a higher risk for ectopic pregnancies. After extensive testing prior to going to Dr. Stoelk's, the reason for my ectopic pregnancies was a medical mystery. After our losses and no answers for the ectopic pregnancies, my husband and I resigned ourselves to never having a child. Skip forward a few years and enter Dr. Stoelk.

It was our last ditch effort to have a child of our own. Since a few years had passed, I was now suffering from premature ovarian failure at the young age of 35. My husband had no medical issues and his swimmers were in perfect working order. Our first round of IVF gave us 4 fertilized eggs. "It only takes one, " I kept saying. We transferred 2 and got pregnant with 1.

Our beautiful daughter was born 12/29/21. We'll always be forever grateful to Dr. Stoelk and his office. There's also only one person who works in billing, Melody. She's amazing and is always happy to answer questions or explain billing issues/concerns. We can't recommend Dr. Stoelk enough. Thank you.

Dr. Stoelk and his team has been wonderful during our long journey to conceive. Dr. Stoelk cares about his patients and provides them with an individualized approach. He takes time to answer questions and makes you feel heard. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking to get a one on one care.

My husband and I decided to switch from OHSU to Dr. Stoelk. I knew I was looking for a one on one approach. Dr. Stoelk treated me with kindness and respect. He cared about my overall health during my fertility treatments. Dr. Stoelk performed our 4th IUI and it was a success. Here I am 8 weeks pregnant after 2 years and 6 months of trying. Doctor Stoelk is amazing. He is talented and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and concerns. I can't say thanks enough to him and his staffs. This place is amazing. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for the past two years. Back in March, I was diagnosed with PCOS. But with the help of Dr. Stoelk and losing some weight, we now are 6 weeks pregnant with our first. We hit the jackpot with this clinic.

Dr. Stoelk and his staff were awesome and so easy to work with. My husband and I have been ttc for one year when we were referred to NW Fertility Center and here we are just couple months short of one year, expecting our first baby thanks to Dr. Stoelk! This is not an easy journey, but this clinic was AMAZING! I called all the local clinics before deciding on them. After the cash discount they are one of the most affordable clinics in our area. From the very beginning Melody was warm, open and answered every question I had. We met with Dr. Stolek for the first time in March/April of 2020 and he had great bedside manner, he didn't sugar coat our situation or waste our time with tests and treatment that wouldn't work.

We decided to go straight for IVF. Covid-19 shut-downs put a wrench in our plans but the clinic stayed in touch and made this stressful situation as easy as possible. We started treatment in September, the shots were WAY easier than I expected and their frequent contact and check-ups took so much of the stress away. Our process didn't go as smooth as we had hoped for our age, in the end only 1 embryo was ready for transfer.

But it seems that Dr. Stoleks skill and experience with placement lead to our tiny little miracle. We just finished up with confirmation at our 8 week check-up. I cannot say enough great things about this clinic: they provided us with the life we always wanted and did so all while making this experience as pleasant as possible.

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. My husband and I struggled with infertility for a few years when we decided to come here after seeing all the glowing reviews. We were not disappointed. Dr Stoelk found our issues on the very first visit and sprang into action on what to do. Tracy is a wonderful nurse, always kind and compassionate. Dr Stoelk was very meticulous and very thorough with the steps taken during our IVF process, always answering questions and very patient and listened to my husband and I. We are extremely over the moon to be expecting a healthy baby thanks to NWFC.

I'm so happy to write this review now 3 weeks after delivering our son. We can't thank Dr. Stoelk and his committed team enough for the happiness they have brought into our lives. I have two blocked Fallopian tubes that we discovered through a screening Dr. Stoelk recommended we have done. Once we found out our only way to get pregnant was through IVF, we started that process immediately.

Every step of the process was better than expected through their support. IVF sounded so scary through the information I had read online and it didn't materialize that way for us. We just took it one step at a time following their guidance. I liked choosing the small client where the same doctor and nursing staff were dedicated to our success.

I also appreciate their transparency in the billing process and through other research felt there were very competitive and fair with their rates. We were extremely fortunate to have a successful egg retrieval and implantation on the first try.

Without Dr. Stoelk and NW Fertility Center we would not have been able to welcome our new baby girl into our family. We are forever grateful.

Dr Stoelk and his team are great! After struggling with infertility, we did our research on the best option for us and were very impressed by Dr Stoelk's clear success and no frills office. He was able to identify the cause of our infertility in our first consultation and four months later, following surgery, many tests and one round of treatment, we are grateful to be pregnant with twins. We would highly recommend Dr Stoelk and his team to anyone struggling with infertility.

Dr Stoelk and his team were amazing to my husband and me! We have been trying for 4 years and had 3 miscarriages. My Obgyn at the time had me try letrozol and take 2500mg of extended release metformin for 4 cycles. I never ovulated and the metformin made me sick. I went on and looked for a fertility center. ORPM declined me because I was to fat. Dr stoelk welcomes me with open arms.

The first thing they told me was "we don't have scales in our office" which was kind of a relief. Our first treatment with 500mg metformin twice a day and higher dosage of letrozol. I BECAME PREGNANT! I am now 13 weeks with a healthy baby and it was all thanks to Dr Stoelk and his team! Thank you so much for helping make my dream come true!

At the start of our 4 year IVF journey, we visited 3 fertility clinics. We were not impressed with the first 2. The first was ORM, which was VERY expensive, likely due to all of their radio advertising and their two fancy buildings with tons of staff (plus paying someone to professionally care for their waiting room orchids, I kid you not). It did not feel personalized at all due to the sheer number of patients and staff - we felt like just another number in the waiting room, not really valued.

The other was through Kaiser and they only offered IUI. We discovered Dr. Stoelk through his good reviews online and they were all correct. It's a small clinic that rents an office space with just the essential staff, which helps keep the overhead cost lower than the other clinics. They take their time to explain everything and help work with your insurance. Melodi, who does all of the billing remotely, is so helpful and answers her phone at all times - I even caught her while grocery shopping one time!

The ladies who work at the desk are all friendly. Dr. Stoelk is very calm, patient, and straightforward with you. I am so happy to report that through 4 IVF cycles over 3 years with Dr. Stoelk, we have a 1.5 year old and our second is on the way! Highly recommend this clinic!

This doctor is using old methods and tried to talk me into unnecessary surgery. Beyond that I did not feel comfortable with him. Furthermore, his practice is Christian-faith based.

My wife and I have been battling infertility issues for several years now. In 2011, we received fertility treatments through Seattle Reproductive in Washington and had success with Our very first IUI treatment. We have a beautiful son thanks to that. After our son was born we made the move to Oregon and after trying for more children unsuccessfully on our own, we looked around for another option.

We went with Oregon Reproductive there in Portland but quickly found out that we had made a big mistake. Not only did the treatments not work, but the place was set up like a money pit. Lots of needless testing was pushed down our throats. They could not pin point any issue with either one of us but had us even repeating testing that we had already done in Seattle.

The cost was ridiculous and left us running on fumes. We finally came to our senses and decided to take a break from our attempts. Over 2 years passed of no success on our own and after talking with friends and looking at reviews we happened upon Northwest Fertility Center. I admit that based on our experience with Oregon Reproductive we were apprehensive.

Our fears were put to rest during our meeting with DR. Stoelk's. He was so personable and caring that right from the beginning we knew we had the right Doctor. The rates are very affordable compared to the other places in Portland and Dr. Stoelk's cut through the BS of pushing needless testing and got us right in for our first IUI. My wife and I feel like we are being treated by someone that truly cares.

He has taken the time to explain everything and even made personal phone calls to let us know results to things as we have gone along. We regret not having found this place sooner and wasting time and money at Oregon Reproductive. We have less then a week to go before finding out if the IUI we did with DR. Stoelk's worked. We feel very optimistic and hopeful. We have agreed on a plan to do 5 IUI's and then move on to IVF if no success with the IUI's. Will update as we continue this journey.
