We met Dr. Friberg through a mutual friend and colleague and have been going to Uptown for over 10 years now. I have had optometrists who were thorough and optometrists who were time-efficient in the past, but never one like Dr. Friberg who is both while still making you feel welcome and unrushed. Her explanations are clear and knowledgeable, she is personable and friendly, and her staff is top-notch. She and her clinic have our highest recommendation and our profound thanks for the excellent eye care they have provided over the years.

I stopped by at 12:30 today (1/21/22), with my wife so she could try on new eye glass frames. There was nobody in the shop except for the person sitting behind the desk. She came and unlocked the door and asked if we had an appointment. We didn't, so she told us the shop was only allowing customers in by appointment only. When my wife told her that it said on the website "you are welcome to drop in anytime to browse, " she told us she didn't think it said that, and offered to make us an appointment. Well the attached screen shot says otherwise. Sorry to bother you during your lunch time. We won't be back to bother you with our business.

This is by far the best eye doctor/exam situation you're going to find. Just go here. It's worth it. You're going to have *fun* getting your eyes checked out here. Dr. Friberg is incredibly knowledgeable and obviously passionate about eyes but also really personable and great at explaining things to the layman such as myself.

So happy to now have our eye care with Uptown EyeCare & Optical. We have been so impressed with the responsive and professionalism. My son's new eyeglass and contact prescriptions have him seeing better than ever. Quality of clinical care and service is outstanding! Couldn't be happier with this decision. Highly recommend!

I wish I could give them 10 stars. The staff are wonderful. They have the best customer service focus I've ever experienced. Extremely helpful in selecting frames that are flattering and all are very caring. Dr Friberg is just excellent. Knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful, very informative. I literally can't say enough good things about this practice.

I've been to Uptown EyeCare twice and each time my experience has been exceptional. The communication and time with the assistant and doctor is comfortable and thorough. I appreciate the explanation of conditions and how to care for my eyes. Dr. Friberg has a knack for teaching you just what is going on and how to deal with your condition. She uses demonstrations, as well as, written instructions. She also has a good rapport with her staff and that is important for running a business well.

I have been seeing Dr. Friberg for 12 years now. She performed my pre-and post op for my Lasik surgery 10 years ago and I continue to see her annually for my eye health and any changes that age brings. She is also our family eye Dr for my partner and our two young children. She is exceptional with her communication, professionalism and she makes it a fun and informative experience for us all. I have been recommending Uptown for years and will continue to do so.

Dr. Friberg is amazing - she's super thorough, incredibly knowledgeable, and excited to share all the details. But aside from being a great eye doctor, she's also friendly and easy to talk to. I've been wearing glasses/contacts for more than 25 years and I've never had better service, from both the doctor and the other staff. I highly recommend Uptown Eye Care!
