If you were referred to a periodontist that means that your dentist discovered a problem that requires the help of a specialist. Dr. Dale and his team will work together with your general dentist to provide you the best possible care. The first step is typically a periodontal evaluation from Dr. Dale.
Dr. Eric A. Dale graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry. He did his residency training at Oregon Health Sciences University. This specialty program provided an additional three years of exclusive training in all aspects of periodontics and the placement of dental implants. Dr. Dale did his undergraduate studies at UCLA, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychobiology.
Facility After practicing in Cherry Creek for 14 years, in 2014 we moved to a new office located at 501 South Cherry Street, Ste 220 Denver CO 80246. Dr. Dale is an excellent periodontist. After 6 months of interviewing other drs for a gum grafting procedure, I almost gave up. That's when I made an appointment to see dr Dale. I knew immediately that he would be operating on my mouth. He did an excellent job and I am forever grateful. Watching him work is amazing. He has many years of experience and he is very good at his craft. I recommend him highly. His staff is wonderful too.

So, I've been seeing a Periodontist for about 10 years, and in that time, I have never had as thorough and thoughtfully considered explanation about my oral health as the one that I received yesterday from Dr. Dale. In addition to his detailed explanation he also provided me with a top-notch cleaning and I left the office feeling like I'd received exceptional service. My only regret was that I hadn't spent the last ten years in his care. Looking forward to my next visit, which let's face it, is a little odd for a dentist appointment.

Dr. Dale was absolutely amazing during my recent consultation and following gum graft procedure. I had visited another local periodontist and received a perfunctory exam and recommendation for extensive procedures that would have cost me thousands of dollars. Dr. Dale, on the other hand, spent over an hour on my exam thoroughly explaining everything he saw and walking me through my options and his recommendations.
Not only did he make suggestions for the procedures he would carry out, but he also recommended practices I could take both at home and with my regular dentist to improve my tooth and gum health long term. I so appreciated his thoroughness and professionalism. After my gum graft, Dr. Dale made himself available on a weekend when I had questions about my healing process. I cannot recommend Dr. Dale and his team highly enough.

Run away screaming! First, Dale just does old-school cut and stitch. There are laser treatments available elsewhere but not with him. Following a horrible surgery, my reg doc told me she prefers the laser treatments. Which is weird because she had recommended him. He obviously offers kick-backs to the dentists who recommend him. I asked Dale's staff, at least twice, to run a quote with my insurance on the proposed treatment, but they refused.
They wouldn't bother because the insurance company wouldn't guarantee anything. They gave me their estimate of my out-of-pocket, but refused to confirm with insurance. I found out later that they should have, as the way they designed the treatment ended up costing me double, and we could have avoided that. Dale's assistant had such long fingernails that the skin around my mouth was sore and had dark, crescent moon bruises for over a week post-surgery.
When I refused to pay the extra $360, they tossed my account to a credit agency who immediately tacked on an extra $200 fee. This is the worst experience I have ever had regarding health care, and I'm 58 years old.
