It was a great place but it's slipped over the last few years. The staff has a poor attitude. The medical care was great but there's a lack of commitment to the patient.

Dr. Koralewski at Midtown Medical Associates is an excellent doctor for primary care. Unfortunately, they no longer offer dermatology. I've been going here for years and the physicians really care and have a relationship with their patients. The office staff are also very friendly and helpful. The new Midtown location has very convenient parking. I strongly recommend them!

Dr Koralewski is the best. I have been seeing him for 10+ years and am in great health due to some of his help and guidance. I highly recommend him as a primary care physician

I am Dr Rachels patient and my mom sees Wayne. Dr and Wayne is great. I saw a growth on her nose and suspected on Basal Cell, Wayne took care of her next day and sent the nodule to biopsy. It is easy to make appointment and they care about your health. I am so lucky to find this practice and keep referring people there.

Took maybe a maximum of 2 seconds to diagnose my problem. Extremely competent medical professionals and basically no wait time.

Wayne Emineth, PA-C is amazing. His knowledge and experience in special procedures is above the average Health care physicians in Dermatology. My one visit and what he prescribed made more difference than what two Dermatologist have done for me in the last two years! I highly recommend him!

I absolutely love my doctor, Dr. Rollins. I have seen him for close to 10 years now. I don't ever really need to go into see him much other than an annual physical but I needed to see him this week due to some things that are going on that just don't feel right. I called their office twice on Friday and left messages and got no response.

I called first thing this morning and talk to someone named Doug and Doug informed me that Dr. Rollins is not seeing patients until further notice so I asked if I could see another doctor in the practice which I've done before when Dr. Rollins is away. He informed me that they're referring people to some urgent care that's in the same building or Laureate medical group.

So when I circles back around and asked him how I would schedule a physical in the next three or four months with Rollins and that hey would come back eventually right and he rudely said "that's what I said". I couldn't agree more with reviews below that the doctors are really great in this practice but their front staff and their nursing staff has gone down downhill since they joined north side. That's what you're going to tell a patient of yours for 10 years.he's gone for now, I don't know when he's coming back and you just need to go somewhere else. Extremely rude disrespectful and terrible patient care. Dr. Chris Matthews

This review is about the staff- particular a nurse D o u g who is very rude, inconsiderate and intolerable. I have had 3-4 interactions with him all negative he has a bad attitude and is rude. The last time I was there I told the nurse I was with about him and she said I was not the only one who has said that. If you ask him ANYTHING he acts like he is soo incovieneced.

I asked him to verify the number he had on file for me he said have you changed your # since we called last? I'm like what? I don't receive calls from you- what number do you have on file?! He huffed and puffed and finally read me the number. I thanked him so much for verifying that and he had some smart smerk to say l! When you come here ask that he not be your nurse.

Previously, I had gone to the ER to have an abscess drained and it was one of the most painful experiences of my life. Well, I had another abscess appear and was very worried about the pain of getting it drained again, but knowing I need to get it taken care of, I went in to the staff of Midtown Medical Associates. This time it was a badly infected abscess on the front of my thigh. Wayne was incredible and able to perform the procedure without very little pain. I was super surprised at how much less painful this experience with draining an abscess was compared to my first one at the ER.

I tried to call and make an appointment for a cosmetic procedure, which is apparently offered at Midtown Medical Associates according to their website. The receptionist would not make me an appointment without a referral from my primary care physician. Huh? I told him there's nothing actually wrong - it's just a cosmetic procedure, but he still said I need a referral. Okay, so I said. assuming I can call and get the referral faxed over, please make sure your office does the procedure I'm looking for. The receptionist (who was perfectly nice btw) put me on hold and came back, and said that they do not do the procedure. that is listed on their website. Huh?

Since Midtown Medical Associates relocated and are now part of Northside Hospital, the customer service has been horrendous. You can no longer call to schedule an appointment. You have to go to the website and 'request' and appointment. This does not guarantee you will get the date/time requested. It is virtually impossible to get anyone on the phone, including the billing department.

I left a message for the 'same day appointment' prompt and never heard back from them until I called later the same day and left a second message. The only way I was finally able to get someone on the phone was to use the prompt for 'Doctors, or doctors offices'. It was urgent that I talk to someone asap as I was having a breakout of something I was being treated for.

I talked to someone who sent a 'note' to the nurse (this was 10:15). I called back at 1:45 p.m. and was told the nurse had not even opened the 'note'. The woman was nice enough to go and talk to the doctor, who gave me an option of coming the next day at 3:00 p.m. or having to wait 2 weeks for an appointment. The only reason I am staying with Midtown Medical Associates is because of Dr. Rachal - otherwise, I would go somewhere else.

Called in June to make a new patient appointment with Dr Rollins. First available Sept 28, 1pm. I checked in at 1:20. Front asked and Dr Rollins would not see me. I needed to reschedule for December. I asked if they knew of a more flexible (caring) doctor and they referred me to another doctor in that office. No thank you. I waited nearly four months for this appointment and Dr Rollins wouldn't wait 20 minutes. I'm now spending this (appointment) time searching for a good doctor.

Dr. Rollins rocks! He takes time to listen and understand the reason you're there. He either remembers my patient history very well or reviews his file thoroughly; regardless, his care and thoroughness are greatly appreciated.

I had scheduled a new patient visit with Dr. Rollins nearly 4 mos. ago. A month and a half ago they called to say that Dr. Rollins was not seeing patients on the day of my appt. and that I would need to reschedule. Fine, I understand things happen. I'm guessing Dr. Rollins had an important golf game at the club or yacht christening to attend to.

They pushed me out into March. Got a call today that "Dr. Rollins is now not seeing any new patients at all, but let me give you the number of another Dr. in our practice". Uh, no thanks. The 4 mos. I've spent with an appt. on the calendar could have been better spent finding a primary care provider that values their patients and knows how to properly organize a schedule.

If this is how they run their office, think how poor their patient care must be. Again, a big FU to Dr. Rollins and his staff of imbeciles. One more note: At some point the appointment calendars of Dr. Rollins and the other Dr.'s at Midtown Medical Associates will free up and they will seek out new patients. My hope is that someone reads this review and opts to take their medical care dollars to another doctor, unaffiliated with Midtown. A health provider with any integrity would have honored an appointment on the books.

I booked a Dec. 19 appointment with Dr. Mack Rachal in October. His office called me in the late afternoon on Friday, Dec. 16 to tell me that he'd cancelled my appointment and would not be taking any new appointments until 2017. I come to the practice's Yelp page and see that Dr. Rollins apparently engages in the same behavior. This shows a pretty stunning lack of respect for patients. Clearly, the time of these doctors is much more important than our time despite the fact that we pay their bills. I'd advise anyone reading this to find another business for your dermatological needs.

Ok everything has been great going here. Been going here now seven years and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I think the office has gotten even better the longer I have been getting here. Or maybe I am just planning my visit better. Either way A+ from me.

Dr. Rollins and his staff are super duper nice and a pleasure to visit. For a few months up to my visit I was feeling super bummed out and tired all the time. My previous doc thought it was depression or thyroid issues but Dr. Rollins didn't take their word for it and ran blood work and figured out I was "severely deficient" in vitamin D. Which is weird bc I spend a lot of time outdoors.

He hand wrote me a letter that I got in the mail two weeks after my appointment explaining it and telling me how much vit D to take and for how long and why. After a few weeks, I now feel back to my ole self and not tired anymore. I'm supposed to go back in three months for him to double check to see if I'm up to normal again and fig out why I was so deficient. Also, I explained in my first appt that I once went to a derm that never sent me my results no matter how many times I asked them to mail, email, or fax them to me.

The next time I saw Dr. Rollins, he walked in with not just my file from that derm, but also their own derm who explained and interpreted my lab results from the other derm I went to a year ago and no they didn't charge me for it. Love this place.

I'm a student at Georgia Tech, and I was looking for a new doctor around the Midtown area. I read positive reviews here and decided to go. First, getting to the office can be a little confusing. You turn into the Emory Hospital Midtown parking area. It's off of Peachtree Street, in between Linden Ave and Pine St. Once you park in the parking deck, you take the elevator to "F" and go into the building.

You then go down the short escalator, go left for the elevators, and take it to floor 12. Their offices are in 1230. (I write this because I got lost and spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out where to go.) Anyway, the visit was great. I saw Dr. Koralewski for a general physical. He came in quickly after the nurse left, and sat down and talked to me before anything else.

He asked some simple questions and heard me out. I told him about some issues I had going on, and he asked me what I thought about medication and if I was open to the idea in order to treat what was going on. He explained my options, what he would recommend, and why. I didn't feel rushed, undervalued, or pressured in any way. He was kind, polite, and listened to me.

I felt like a human being - with thoughts that mattered. The physical exam itself was short and comfortable. I was in and out in about an hour (part of it my fault - had some issues with my insurance card once I got there that I needed to address), but the front desk staff was great in handling that too. Parking ended up being $5 for that hour, and getting lost initially was somewhat inconvenient, but it was worth the ease of the appointment and the kindness of Dr. Koralewski. I will continue to go back here as my new doctor.

For me, a doctor's bedside manner is just as important as his/her education and experience. I can't stand being judged or treated like a Simmental in a herd of cattle, forced across a field by a cow dog for the sake of the big man's pocket. At Midtown Medical Associates, Dr. Koralewski is patient, thorough and caring. At my most recent appointment, he wrapped up my immediate concern and remembered to follow up about a problem from my appointment prior to that.

He spent an additional 20 minutes going over my options to address that issue as well. Having to navigate Emory's parking garage and pay $5 for an hour-long appointment is worth it in this case.

I recently had an appointment with the PA, Wayne. Let me count the ways that this place is AWESOME: 1. Their main receptionist, Crystal, is efficient, highly competent, and sweet as sunshine. 2. Wayne is Dr. Factoid. It's obvious that he's up-to-date on medical research. For every course of treatment we talked about, he was able to substantiate his recommendation with a "well, study X found that dosage Y was best during Z, but that dosage C was equally as effective and less irritating, etc." You get my drift. 3.

They were on time. My appointment was at 3. I was in the room at 3, and shortly thereafter Dr. Factoid appeared. WHEN DOES THIS HAPPEN AT A DOCTOR'S OFFICE? 4. The appointment was never rushed. Wayne answered my (long list) of questions. He was personable and patient. 5. I received a goodie bag full of samples and prescription discounts. I didn't even need to ask.

I'm writing reviews for the doctors I saw separately, but I figured I might as well go ahead and review the practice that employs such great practicioners. I was looking for a new primary care doctor and a new dermatologist, so it worked out well that the highest yelped doctors' office on yelp had both of those, and accepted my insurance (United).

I was told upon calling that both Drs. Koralewski and Rollins were accepting new patients, but that I could see Dr. Koralewski sooner. Done. Sadly, there weren't any appointments with Dr. Rachal (the dermatologist) available on the same day as my other appointment, but there was one the next day. The receptionist directed me to their website (which looks like it's down now, boo) to fill out the new patient paperwork before I arrived.

This saved quite a bit of time when it was actually time for my appointment, and I hardly had to wait 10 minutes before the doctor was able to see me both times. If you require any labwork, they'll send you onto a different practice, but it's in the same building which is very convenient. And of course, the whole thing is attached to Crawford Long Hospital in case anything goes REALLY wrong.

I got a little lost and ended up parking in the hospital lot off of Linden, but you can get your parking validated at the desk when you enter the hospital, and the medical tower is just a short indoor walk away. I haven't received my bills yet, but assuming everything gets sent to my insurance company properly, I think I've found my doctors for many years to come.

THANK YOU, Thank you, Thank you to my fellow yelpers who Yelped the doctor! Yes, I waited for over two months for my new patient appointment, but from what I hear, once you're in, you're in. Dr. Rollins was worth the wait! Often times, doctors make you feel uninformed, unworthy of hearing the medial info and uninvited to ask questions. Dr. Rollins seriously made me feel really comfortable, totally did the whole 'small talk thing' that I am a fan of (he really did want to hear about my trip to Cambodia!), and totally invited any and all questions. Yayyy!
