Marietta Eye Clinic PA - Marietta Locations, Windy Hill

I have nothing but praise for Marietta eye clinic. Every visit has been wonderful, all employees treat me very nicely. They are punctual and very polite. I have had many visits and am always treated very well. Dr Ho is fantastic! I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr Ho and everything went very well.

I made a mistake recently. I wrote a review in anger, which is not a good thing to do. I usually try to wait until I'm cooled off and rational before posting, but this time - bad on me. I wrote a scathing review of Marietta Eye Clinic, based on an experience that frustrated me but in hindsight was one of those regrettable things that sometimes happens but is unavoidable. Marietta Eye Clinic immediately reached out to me to find some resolution, and I am both grateful and satisfied with the end result.

I can't say enough good things about the people who work in the eyewear department. They are all very nice and strive to be helpful. In particular, Dwight Hill, the manager, is an outstanding guy who will make sure you're happy in the end. Thanks to him for helping me out with my admittedly minor problem. Hope this rights my wrong!

Marietta eye clinic is fine. Dr. Tran is not. He literally burst into the room speaking at 100 miles an hour. He didn't introduce himself and proceeded to call me by the wrong name. I had to seriously wave him down to stop him from talking so I could tell him my name. He then spent no more than 3 minutes looking at my eyes and then asked if he could help me with anything else. Does he get paid by the number of patients he sees? Never again. A little small talk with introductions goes a long way when you're a doctor.

I love Marietta eye clinic but this East Cobb location is my favorite. It's much more open and bright, the parking is simple and less confusing, as is the directions to get there. Marietta Eye Clinic is a delight, especially after years and years of less clinical, more commercial eye care in department stores and the like. The doctors are kind and experienced but by far my favorite thing about them is the contract lens fitters. They work and work and work to get me into contacts that I not only tolerate but love! I send all my contact lens wearing friends there.

Doctor Ho and his staff are amazing people. Dr. Ho is a incredible professional and I would recommend him to everyone looking for a great doctor to take care of their kids. God bless you all.

I had a YAK procedure a month ago, and my eye sight is worse now than before. Dr. Mitchell has always been great, but it seems he missed the mark on this one.

I actually was not a direct patient, But my mother was. She had to have someone with her for her visits and her eye surgeries. Team was extremely welcoming and professional from start to finish. Directions were clear. They did one eye at a time, first time I was very worried. Eye surgery is nothing to take lightly. After seeing the number of successful surgeries going in and out, it built my confidence in the team.

Dr. Kay is a great retina specialist. He is kind and explains everything. He takes his time and makes sure you understand everything. He is a great doctor.

I always look forward to my yearly visit. The staff is warm and thorough with their examination. Dr. Thurshwell is caring, knowledgeable and makes you comfortable the minute you sit in his chair. I trust him entirely with my eye care.

Large, diverse eye health practice. Care seems to be excellent but communication between doctors and office staff sometimes breaks down (prescription refills, etc.)

Very professional and extremely caring doctors and nurses! The cataract surgery was explained to me in detail as to what each step was as they were doing it. I highly recommend Dr. Tran for cataract surgery and general eye care.

Both Dr. McNeely and her medical assistant were very nice and professional. Great bedside manner! My only complaint is the level of mask requirements as soon as you walk in the door to the spacious non-crowded lobby. Its March 2022. Masks are so done already. Persisting this silly pandemic.

TERRIBLE - I called and scheduled appointment 3 weeks ago for my 7 years old daughter. I made arrangements and cancel my meetings for that afternoon so I can take care of my child. We went in and fill out the check in documents. We waited 40-45 minutes to see a doctor. My daughter asked 10 times when will doctor see us and I had to explain her how to be patience when you have a doctors appointment.

Well after 40-45 minutes some one called me over to front desk and told me that they made a mistake in scheduling and pediatrician doctor not in the building. I understand everyone can make a mistake. My frustration was:

Had an appointment to have my eyes examined the first of December. The Doctor I saw was extremely pushy for Laser surgery for the cataract knowing my insurance would not cover it. Marietta Eye Clinic is all about reaching into your pocket and getting as much money as it can get. Their payment plan was a joke: 3 months for &6,000? I found another Eye Doctor who is much more competent and affordable

I had a good experience getting PRK laser surgery done. Great doctors! However, for every post op appointment, I've had to wait between 30-50 minutes after my scheduled appointment before being called in. At my last appointment, I waited over an hour and 15 minutes before I even saw my doctor. They are also very difficult to get in touch with to schedule/reschedule an appointment.

After moving to Marietta in June, I was concerned with finding an ophthalmologist I could trust. Eye disease is prevalent in my family and I have glaucoma with a rapid onset field cut several years ago. The staff at Marietta Eye Clinic scheduled my 6 month appointment with Dr. Jiang, who is a glaucoma specialist. I appreciate the time Dr. Jiang spent explaining options to me. Staff at Marietta Eye Clinic are quick to answer my follow-up questions on their patient portal.

The. Staff is very friendly and efficient. The Doctors that examined me showed extreme care and professionalism. They explained the entire process in simple terms which made me feel more comfortable

The worst! Went in for an appointment that was supposed to had been scheduled through the call center. Got to Kennestone location. No record of my appointment. Glad I had the confirmation text to confirm I did have an appointment. They offered to fit me in. As if it was my mistake. Waited 3 hours for service to be completed as I watch everyone else who was scheduled, just as well as I was come in and out.

As I sat there to wait on my scheduled appointment. 3 hours of service for an error that wasn't on me as a consumer. My first time with this company. Will definitely be my last

The experience I had at The Marietta Eye Clinic was AMAZING. There are no words how my surgeon, Dr Ho, has changed my life. I had severe cataracts in both eyes and was very close to being blind. I didn't think there was any hope. However God, working through Dr Ho, gave me my sight back! Dr Ho is a very kind, gentle surgeon. Through the whole experience I was very confident and calm that I was in safe hands.

The staff is amazing too. Not only did I get the blessing of my sight back, thank you Dr. Ho, my heart was truly touched by each and everyone I met. It was an amazing experience all the way around. No words. Thank you! God bless! Where I use to "Walk by Faith, not by sight", now I'm walking by both!

This place is like a factory. Don't honor appts said wait is extremely long bc of work-ins and not enough rooms for patients.

Wonderful experience. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. My daughter is very pleased with her new glasses as well. We will definitely be returning.

My first time being a patient with Marietta Eye Clinic was a complete success in the best of best patient experience and care! I didn't feel like a "cookie-cutter" customer, no way, felt more like I'm special during all of the professional procedures. Prior explanation was given for all that was done. I have worn glasses for 55 years, After my cataract surgery with Dr. Tran, I put my glasses in their case and put them in my desk drawer. My vision is 20/20. I do need readers for up-close small type. I can read the computer screen without them. Dr Tran is excellent. He listens and he explains. The staff at the surgery center were also very professional and had the answers to my questions before I ask.

This place is impressive. A great combination of professionalism, comprehensive care, caring people, and available options. I first found them in an emergency: a family member got a corneal abrasion about 4 PM. I called, Sierra in the call center worked diligently to get us seen; we got seen at 9 AM the next day. The staff took care of us as soon as we walked in, and they gave the family member what she needed.

They even gave us enough samples of antibiotics that a prescription wasn't necessary. They have just about everything you'd ever need with reference to your eyes: anything from contacts and glasses to retina surgery. This clinic is on a campus; it's building 100, and building 200 is for surgeries. That said, the campus can be a bit confusing as soon as you pull in, but as long as you look for and follow the signs, the signage is excellent.

On walking in, they have a big kiosk with multiple stations for check-in; there are workers behind several desks, and there are about four clinical wings. There was a worker in the welcome area sanitizing kiosk stations between customers and also helping people check in, get where they needed to, etc. There is only one single-seater restroom for the entire facility, so you may need to wait for that.

Other than that minor complaint, I've been very impressed by this place; I think we found our family eye doctors (by the way, they do take children; I saw people of all ages and stages while we were there).

Overall a great experience. This was my first time at Marietta Eye Clinic after moving to the area. I didn't have to wait long to see the doctor and he did a thorough exam. The doctor and staff were helpful and friendly.

I went in for a routine eye exam, it ended up taking 2 hours. Ridiculous. There was no sense of urgency.

I have been to the Windy Hill location as well as Canton road and would recommend without hesitation. I had a bit of a "misunderstanding " with billing and scheduling recently and April, Nae Nae and Teresa went above and beyond to make sure the concern was taken care of to exceed my satisfaction. With eye care centers on every street corner it is Customer Service like this that makes the difference between ordinary and extraordinary. That simple little "extra" that these 3 ladies showed will have me and my family returning as customers from now on.

Called today about my follow-up appointment with Dr tran. I made the appointment on September 22 for December 22. Evidently I didn't really have an appointment, maybe I stole an appointment card and filled it out, but they would be happy to make an appointment later.

It is nearly impossible to call this practice and have someone answer the phone. It is most inconvenient to have to be called back as I am at work and it's difficult for me to answer their call back at their convenience. Why can't they hire more people. In addition Sandy at the Town Lake location is cold and not very helpful in person. Wish I had not started the cataract surgery process with them. I'm sure the drs are fine, but the administration staff do not seem to be efficient at all. Sandy is super strict with COVID protection, almost rude!

HORRIBLE! I'm a new patient, and requested an appt with the Ophthalmologist in their Acworth location. I was given the appt, however when I checked on their website I noticed the appt was made with their Optometrist, which is not what I requested nor did they ask me if I was ok seeing a different type of eye doctor. I immediately called back and they never answered my call.

After being on hold for over 5min with their automated machine, I hung up. I tried calling again today 11/11, and was left on hold again forever. A live person never picks up the phones. WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Needless to say I will not be attending my appt on 11/13/20. If this is the quality of service they provide, no thanks. This office does not even deserve a 1 star rating!

I went to Marietta Eye Clinic for a stye like swelling on my right eye. They gave me an antibiotic and steroid to take care of it. Since then my eye has swollen shut (never happened to me before in my life) at least 5 times. They have done nothing other than treat the symptoms and not attacked the cause. On top of this the last appointment I had I sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half past my appointment time.

They knew I was there and they just said "we'll be with you soon". If they were that far behind they could have notified me. I will never use them again. I suggest you find a real eye doctor to help you instead of these amateurs.

Nothing to write home about. Very bureaucratic feel and lacing a personal touch when I've been there. I was there for a contact appointment in person and I told them I'd like to schedule an eye appointment for glasses so my spouse could come back and see them. I get there and they say only I can go in - would have been nice for them to tell me that since that was the whole reason for the appointment.

I was miserable and suffering from dry eyes. I had seen 3 eye doctors before discovering Dr. Puneet Panda. Now I am on a daily regime prescribed by Dr. Panda and I am relieved to feeling normal again!

I have been trying for the past two weeks to order my contacts. Every time I call I get the message that they are busy. This is not acceptable AT ALL

I have been going to this place for probably 15 years, they performed cataract surgery to both of my eyes. Went in two years ago and was diagnosed for early signs of glaucoma. Last year lost eye sight in my right eye and after a very cursory exam they said nothing could be done as it was due to my glaucoma, I would just have to live with it and I believed them.

After one year of being blind in one eye went to another clinic, turns out I have a detached retna which I am scheduling to get fixed. I am told the odds of a successful surgery would have been higher if I had been diagnosed properly a year ago. They seem to be more focused on seeing as many patients as possible instead of being thorough.

I had 1 eye cataract surgery done with this practice. The surgery was fine, but the financial office is not! No only did they charge my credit card a lot of money upfront, but they billed and was paid by my insurance. These people owe me @$2100.00 as an overpayment. Between what I paid and what the insurance paid, I have paid for 2 eyes when in fact, I only had 1 done.

They had me sign paperwork with eyes extremely dilated and under duress. I could not see anything. On the advise of my Insurance Company, I am taking measures to get the money back that is owed to me. Hopefully, we can get this resolved. I would never recommend paying for a surgery upfront if you have insurance. They got paid twice and that is unethical. There are plenty of excellent eye clinics in the Atlanta area. I would recommend you check one of those out.
