What an incredible staff, especially in trying times as we see today. Great people taking great care of patients as it should be. Excellent doctors with personality and knowledge to boot. Surgery isn't what anyone wants but when you have to have it, you want the care that Doctors Eye Institute offers, a great big thank you.

I am waiting for my case to get settled. I went there, they took measurements of my glass subscription that didn't work for me. Two weeks later, they had to reexamine and adjust accordingly. Untill now I didn't have any issue with their services. Just waiting for the glasses Courtesy and professionalism are theirs.

I bring my 87 year old mother for an appointment at 1:45. We arrive at 1:30. I am not allowed to be with her. She has a walker, very unstable because she has a rod in her leg, doesn't hear, doesn't comprehend most things. I am the POA and have been banished to sit in my car. Can't go with her. I went with her in my mask last year. It is now 3:45 and when I called they said it will be another 30 minutes. I asked for her records. We will never be back here!

Besides taking a long time to get checked in and started, 30 minutes, it went as expected but longer than expected. They do warn you that staff shortages were in place to get you checked in, but a simple, be there 15 minutes early for your appointment would have sufficed. i went to four different rooms to get eyes checked, think that could be better laid out, maybe.
But the people there, were all very very nice, courteous and such. Equipment seems up to date. parking is pain, but expected to a medical building. Overall pleased with everything except the wait.

Had an 8:15a appointment and one of first people there that morning. Wasn't called back for over 30 minutes, then after they put dilating drops in my eyes put me in another waiting room. Not uncommon, but they work very quickly and I sat in the waiting room for over 45 minutes while 6 other people came and went. I had to go ask if they had forgotten about me as I had other appointments scheduled that morning.
They scrambled around and it was still another 15 minutes before anyone saw me. I should have been in and out of the office before I was ever even seen. It isn't like there were eye emergencies coming in that needed immediate attention! Ended up having to pay a cancellation fee to another provider because I wasn't going to be able to get there due to the delays at their office!
Then without telling me and without providing me any paperwork, charged me for an entire years worth of contacts when they were only supposed to charge the co-pay and contact fitting fee. No I couldn't read the receipt because my eyes were dilated (one of those very small receipts with small print like you get get at gas station), Two hours later when I was able to read the receipt, I called and they were NOT helpful! It took 5 phone calls and a total of an hour on the phone to get it fixed! One of worst experiences ever had at eye doctor!

Great eye care practice. I have been coming here for 28 years. Dr. Muse is very thorough and explains contact issues, well. Two years ago, Dr. Hoffman was able to spot retinal damage, quickly referred me into a retinal specialist, and the specialist performed sight-saving surgery, all within a week.

When I called to schedule an appointment I asked specifically if I could get the visit for the eye exam and prescription glasses all done at the same place, they told me yes. I also asked them if my they accepted my health insurance and would the in house optical a accept my health insurance so I could have it all done in one visit. The sign in receptionist was very rude.
The eye exam was completed and the optical department fitted me for a pair of prescription glasses. I waited for weeks with no contact and then when I finally talked to optical they told me they didn't accept my insurance. They could have at least call and told me. I seen Dr. Menon, got my prescription glasses from another clinic and the prescription is wrong I still can not see. What a waste of time and money! Hundreds of dollars down the drain!

I have to admit, I hate going to any doctor's office.even Eye Doctors. There is just something about going to the doctor even if you feel well, let's just say it. Makes You Sick inside.deep down in the pit of your being! Well, Thank goodness it was NOT ME today, but my hubby! He was visibly nervous. Doctors office's do that to the strongest of peeps!
He has this lesion that has developed in his eye duct. It's not affecting his sight but right now it's small. But, it could grow! So, our eye doctor recommended Dr Karp as a specialist for this issue. The office was very spacious, staff friendly. They made our appointment quickly from our referral. Accepted our insurance. No co-pay! Only hitch, Dr said it's a cyst.
It would or could possibly grow. Said he needed eyelid lift, and wanted him to have plastic surgery with another doctor. So, we have another referral 3 wks from now. Great doctors office. Felt comfortable, and love the easy location. Highly recommend to others, and loved the Dr. Bedside manner, he was comfortable, friendly and very warm feeling.liked it a lot!
