Certified nurse practitioners (NP-C) and physician assistants (PA-C), also referred to as "advanced practice providers (APP)", are licensed health care professionals who provide care and treatment while working under the close supervision of a medical doctor. As a part of Atlanta Cancer Care's interdisciplinary health care team, they have been certified to perform many of the same tasks as a doctor and they work collaboratively with other members of your care team.That is why dedication, compassion, hope, and healing are much more than just words to us at Atlanta Cancer Care and Northside Hospital.
