Our goal at Central Clinic is to connect the right people to the right behavioral health service at the right time. One person's healing has a cascading effect that not only helps one, but also the wellness of the family and ultimately the community. To provide choices and options through a compassionate approach to behavioral health services that results in lasting recovery and resiliency for children, families, and adults.
Services
Central Clinic Behavioral Health successfully promotes lasting change for those served. We believe that measuring the impact of services is vital in order to learn, grow and ultimately meet the needs of the community. We consistently measure the outcomes of the persons we serve and analyze our processes.
Established in 1923, Central Clinic Behavioral Health (CCBH) was the first mental health nonprofit organization in the State of Ohio and one of the only community clinics serving both children and adults. Central Psychiatric Clinic, its original name, received national attention because it provided community-based mental health services for children - a unique approach for treating patients at that time.
Central Clinic Behavioral Health is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the workplace. We believe that DEI is unique to every community. We know that this is vital in forming a well-rounded work environment both for personnel and those who receive behavioral health services. We pride ourselves on our inclusionary environment, acceptance of differences, and providing compassionate care. Our employees, students, residents, contractors, and volunteers are the most valuable asset we have.
Central Clinic Behavioral Health, a 501 [c][3] nonprofit organization, believes those interested should know as much as possible about how we operate and how carefully and effectively we use public and private funds. The board and staff are committed to high standards of performance and accountability.
