The Idaho Dermatologic Surgery and Laser center was founded in 2005 by Teri Cottingham, MD. We have been at our location on Curtis Road in the Boise Medical Arts Building since this time. Ashley Cafferty, PA-C was hired in 2007 to help meet the increasing dermatologic needs of the Treasure Valley. In 2015, additional office space was acquired, adding new exam rooms to this growing and expanding practice.

Mohs Micrographic surgery is a surgical treatment for skin Cancer that offers a very high rate of cure, up to 99%. It was developed approximately 50 years ago by Fredrick E. Mohs, MD, a general surgeon at the University of Wisconsin.
If you must cancel or reschedule we kindly ask if you notify our office 3 business days prior to your appointment. Cosmetic procedures require a deposit of 50% of the total cost in order to schedule the appointment. Payment in full for all cosmetic services is due at the time of service. Deposits for cosmetic treatments are non-refundable if we do not receive notice of cancellation within 3 business days.
