First off they rushed me out of the hospital room post-Hemorrhoidectomy, then give me the patient care packet, ONcE I checked out! This packet involves what they expect from you while you are in there such as hygiene, food, etc. Dr. Binderow is too brief with his information. I am due for a check up, and have a few health concerns, and his office can't pick up the phone. I have called several times just to have my call dropped. I got transferred via the ST Joesph's hospital operator and was hung up on.twice.

So after surgery, a piece of CUT OFF flesh was left inside of me. On top of that, they had a "if you can't afford copay, call us". I did, they lowered my bill by $250. I thought it was over, but the amount they lowered it by, they sent to collections! What a scam of an operation. DO NOT GO HERE.

This is my first time to this place and I found it disappointing beyond normal scale. I arrived in time and waited for over an hour with no real updates; when asked if the doctors were running late, I was treated with annoyance or no answer. I respect all the front line workers who are still working despite covid but it would be nice if they treat patients with respect and give a bit updates rather than letting people just sit and waste their time. Do not recommend

Finally figured out what was going on with my stomach, minus a large intestine later I would give anything for a pain free day.

No one wants to visit these guys, but considering the circumstances, Dr. Binderow was excellent. They are experienced doctors who really know what they're doing. Worth the drive.

In answer to the 1 star review I would say that I waited too but Dr Yu was well worth the wait. She has been very thorough, respects my views on the problems I live with and has gone out of her way to call me personally with results of tests, etc. You really missed an opportunity to see an excellent physician. As for the other review, as a former GI lab RN I circulated and cared for hundreds of patients. NO procedure is without risk but out of the hundreds of colonoscopies I've been a part of I've only seen fewer than 5 patients with complications. You can't believe everything you read on the internet.

Dr. Mayer is till the greatest! I've had a few surgeries related to my illness over the years and he is the most experienced, kind, trusting, and cautious surgeon. Highly recommend seeing Dr. Mayer.

I rarely write reviews but I felt the need to after my experience. I had my new patient visit today and was left waiting for an hour and a half. When I asked the front desk how much longer it would be, I was told that it shouldn't be much longer but it's unpredictable since Dr. Yu may need to spend more time discussing her findings once she's completed her examination.

If this is the case, then more time should be allotted for each patient's visit and scheduled accordingly. I decided to cancel my appointment and leave at that point since I could no longer wait to see the doctor. There was no apology. I find it disappointing and non-productive to have spent so much time in the waiting room to ultimately leave. I think it's extremely disrespectful to have no consideration for the patient's time and will not be returning to this office.

I would really like to know how on this earth you can advertise on your web page that a colonoscopy is "an extremely safe procedure." From the research I've done, that is absolutely false. You should really consider being absolutely honest with your patients.
