It has always been extremely hard to get a call returned from ENT of Georgia at the Decatur office, but this was the straw (or should I say bale of straw) that broke the camel's back. I went to the Decatur office to pick up my serum. I didn't look at the vial until I got home. The vial was much larger than usual. This was the first red flag for me.
I have been giving myself allergy shots for years. When I gave myself an injection, the reaction at the injection site was completely different from the usual reaction. Fortunately, this did not cause a medical emergency, but I was extremely concerned that something might be wrong with my serum. First thing Monday morning I left a detailed voice message with the allergist. no reply.
First thing Tuesday morning I left a voice message for the office manager. no reply. First Thing Wednesday morning I finally got ahold of a live human and asked for the contact information for my physician and they told me that I was not allowed to communicate with my own doctor directly. The same staff that failed to return any of my previous calls would have to relay my message to my doctor. That is when I decided to leave ENT of Georgia and find a different practice.

My first doctor visit I was seen for lots of allergic issues and other breathing issues. She didn't even checked my nose or my throat she just said I need allergy test I see you after. I am wondering why she didn't even check anything and she was like yea I'm not gonna check you till you get your allergy test. Honestly, I felt like she didn't hear anything I said beside allergies.
I felt neglected my by doctor. So my second visit I made sure I requested another doctor. I went there with my test results and she was like "seems like you have no allergy to anything so I don't know why you have these issues. I also mentioned my acid reflux and she was like okay let me give you an additional medication for that. I personally didn't even know if she said I need more on purpose or just because because she was just like "yea I don't know try that maybe".
Then she told me to use this medicine and then if I don't feel better I need a voice specialist to check my voices. With all due respect, what does that has to do anything with my symptoms? I left there with no solution. And the funny part is it's been over a week and SHE NEVER SEND THE MEDICATION. Like she forgot or something. This was a very eye opening experience and realized most doctors just don't care just like in this clinic!

Make sure you are promptly on time and follow all their rules exactly if you want good service here. After I drove two hours and called 30 minutes ahead of time to tell them I would be late due to traffic driving into Atlanta, I was refused service by the provider. No wiggle room at all. Seems this provider is not companionate or empathetic. Ego does tend to get in the way of some doctor's daily practices.

I was a patient here off and on for 20+ years. I liked the doctors, but their staff is below par, especially the allergy treatment staff. I was never told that I had to bring my epi pen every time I picked up my serum. When I went to pick it up, I was told that I would have to drive home, get the epi pen, and come back. Their location is a hassle because it's in the hospital, so you have to pay for parking and deal with horrible traffic.
When I spoke to the office manager, her excuse was that I "signed a document five months ago that explained their protocol." Then, they sent me a certified letter saying they could no longer have me as a patient, which was a waste of paper since I never intend to step foot in their offices again. Also, when you call for an appointment, you have to hold for a long time. After 20 years, their treatment of me as a patient was extremely poor. There are plenty of good ENT practices in Atlanta. This is not one of them.

Not only is the parking a disaster but it is not validated. My appointment was at 10 AM and i sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes before being called back. So that's a waste. Although i do really like dr. Pablo stolovisky i would maybe recommend a different location solely based on the parking and wait time.

Waited over an hour for a post sleep study follow up for my toddler. Doctor handed me the results of the study which recommended continued ent evaluation. Doctor refused to perform the evaluation, and was in the room for less than 1 minute. They also overcharged me my copay. Huge waste of time and money. Try Atlanta ENT, Sinus & Allergy they did a great job treating my deviated septum.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I WAS GIVEN A MISDIAGNOSIS THAT LED TO AN MRI THAT TOOK OVER A WEEK TO GET THE RESULTS FOR WHEN IN GEORGIA THE LAW IS 48 HOURS. I was told wrong results then misdiagnosed which cause my accurate diagnosis to get worse while I searched for a second opinion. They only care about money and not the patients. All the positive reviews are from friends and relatives not actual patients. This practice should be shut down do to the harm they cause.

The staff was very friendly during my experience. I called and made an appointment. I completed several pages of new patient information online. I arrived early for my appointment. 20 minutes after appointment time I was told that they were out of network. I do not understand why my time was wasted when I had submitted all the information days before this appointment. If they are in network for you they are probably a great place for healthcare.

I have been going to this office for months this year and almost every interaction was aggressive and not helpful. The answering service has been rude to many many times. I don't believe they understand how hard it is to get off of work to come in multiple times and be sent away with zero help. Their is a serious attitude problem with many employees. I even got told by my Doc to go somewhere else since they couldn't communicate properly with me. Please don't waste your time and money.

My 1 year old had tubes put in by Dr. Kim due to constant chronic ear infections. Since his surgery he still has constant ear infections. It's really hard to schedule appointments because the doctor isn't always at our location. When we finally get an appointment it's always rushed and lasts maybe five to ten minutes. The doctor recommends the same treatment every appointment even though it doesn't seem to help his infections. I'm disappointed every time I leave.

Everyone was nice and I didnt wait long for my appt. However, I would suggest you ask the cost of everything they are going to do. I went in for potential sinus infection which I had numerous times but was told my issues were due to pollen. I recieved a bill for over $500. This appointment was no more than 10 min with a look in nose and ears. Very unnecessary charges for what was done

Rude and unfriendly staff. I booked the first appointment in the morning to try leaving early to go to work. The nurse came in checked my blood pressure and then disappeared. An hour later I walked up to the nurses station and asked when the Dr. would see me. The answer was: "The Doctor is with a patient, you will have to wait for your turn".

They worked really well with my mom in getting her set up with hearing aids. Different audiologists there have very different styles of working with folks. Our first person was not a good fit but the second person Sam has been compassionate, patient and great w mom. This is a very above board and.professional practice. Often hearing aid businesses are a little sketchy. Not so here.

Beware of shady business practices on the part of this group! A family member had a procedure performed in December 2017 and was called back in for a follow-up in January 2018 at which time they performed another procedure. She was under the impression the follow-up was part of the global billing period for the primary procedure but it was not. Around $1,000 was now owed as it was applied to deductible.
While there was language stating this would be a separately billable procedure in the forms she signed, it was not indicated verbally at the time of the primary procedure or the follow-up procedure. (Lesson for all: Read all forms very carefully, ask questions, and refuse to sign until you are certain you know what is about to happen and what if anything will be charged!
I have seen all too many incidents in my medical billing career where medical providers end up sticking it to the patient who is unaware and uneducated when it comes to how medical procedures and billing truly work, and I can say from experience it can all too often be described as what I would say is "shady at best".) But that is just the beginning of the issues with this practice. Having worked in medical billing, I always offer to review any medical bills for family members should they ask.
My sister signed authorization forms allowing me to speak with the practice on her behalf regarding her procedures and bills. I wanted to know the CPT (procedure) codes billed to be sure the practice wasn't billing for services that were considered inclusive to the primary procedure. Simple enough of a request, right? Apparently not. It took numerous emails and calls over months to Christina Sorah in, what I can only assume is, their billing office.
I say assume because despite having signed authorization, Christina never once replied to my inquiries; only to my sister; and only then after much delay; and even then she would provide the wrong information! Eventually I was able to obtain the codes I needed (not from Christina, I might add) and confirmed that the follow-up procedure was billable and unfortunately my sister was stuck with having to pay. (Again, lesson to be learned by all about the myriad of forms and poor communication when it comes to medical providers and procedures.) As upset as my sister was to learn this, she went online to the practice's portal to make payment only to learn there was a $0.00 balance. Confused, she contacted Christina again. Turns out the practice sent my sister to collections!
While we were waiting for months for the practice to answer some very basic questions, they decided (in my opinion: out of spite) to send her to a collection agency! So this is who you're dealing with folks when you decide to do business with ENT of Georgia. You've been warned!

Staff was rude. Dr. did not consider preexisting conditions. Ordered inappropriate tests for diagnosis. Phone lines were down for three days, so I couldn't get in touch with my dr or anyone on staff. Had to drive to the office to cancel follow up appointment because no one would return my calls or emails to cancel.

WARNING: THE DOCTOR IS LOOKING FOR A PAYDAY I visited ENT off Old Milton. I went in with an ear issue. After waiting over an hour I was finally seen by Dr Yanta. After a rushed exam, he suggested I need ear & nose surgery. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and it was just an ear infection. Good thing I didn't trust Dr Yanta Next, I received my bill from ENT. The total was over $650. $118 was for the test & seeing the Dr. However, $484 was for a 1st time visit, which insurance didn't cover.

Went to this doctors office because I was referred to by my then girlfriend because she had gone there. This turned out to be a VERY COSTLY visit for a procedure that should not have been needed. I had a tonsil tag. (Later when I talked to my general doctor, who I've had for 15+ years, could not get to in time, explained that if I had waited a week more it would have fallen off itself). Dr Koriwchak performed a "Laryngoscopy, flexible fiberoptic; diagnostic" which was $250+.
Then performed "excision of tonsil tags", $550+. THEN he had the tissue sent off to see if it was cancerous. Which was another $1400+ after insurance The new patient fee is $155, so be ready to pay that too. While in the office, none of these procedure were explained, what they would cost, if the cost would be covered under my current insurance. The office manager was not helpful at all, I had to call 5+ times to even get to speak to her once.
I will NEVER suggest this doctor or any of their other offices to a sole I know. Because if I can explain what I had to my general doctor, he tell me it would go away in a week without even taking a look at it. Then the doctor that specializes in this type of medicine should definitely be able to do the same in person.

I was really sorry to see the negative reviews already posted. My experience with ENT was limited to Dr. Koriwchak, so I cannot comment on the other doctors. My primary endocrinologist was at another practice, and recommended Dr. K. to perform my thyroid surgery. She'd actually given me a choice of three doctors, but when my father (whom I allowed to participate in the phone call - I'm an adult) asked which she would send her own daughter to, Dr. Koriwchak was her answer. Dr. Koriwchak performed my total thyroidectomy two years ago.
I cannot say enough positive things about him or his staff. They put me at my ease, made me very comfortable in preparation for my surgery, and were informative and willing to answer *many* questions in a friendly and patient manner. I had concerns about my voice, since thyroidectomies involve cutting very close to the nerve controlling the vocal cords, and a misstep can damage one's voice permanently, but I had been told beforehand (not by his staff) that Dr. K. was the go-to surgeon for actors, singers, and other professionals whose voices are important to their careers.
My recovery after surgery was incredibly smooth, and my scar is almost invisible. Even within a few months of surgery, it was only noticeable to those who knew to look for it. When my biopsy was completed, and I got the diagnosis of cancer, Dr. Koriwchak somehow managed to present the news to me in a way that left me calm, accepting, and able to face the coming (successful) treatment. In my opinion, you cannot place yourself in better hands than his.
