Went for my first tatto removal treatment today, and this was the best experience anyone can have, they make u feel very comfortable, and there office is super clean very professional. Wouldn't go anywhere else! Highly recommended so worth the money. First treatment took off 60% of my tattoo. Thank you guys so very much!

Hello, I've been going to ClearWaves Medical Laser Group for tattoo removal and I'm on my 3rd laser treatment and the results are great! My tattoo has faded so much! I'm excited to have the experience of ClearWaves. Their staff is professional every time! I'm greeted with smiles, excitement and the attitude to get things done. They answer all my questions and explain them to the fullest.

They also make it clear that they are available 24/7 If I run into any problems with my treatment. Also I have some acne scars that I'm going to look into clearing up and I will definitely be going to Dr. Chavez and her amazing staff.

After reading other reviews I decided Clearwaves was the best tattoo removal option in the area and committed to driving a 3-hour round trip to get to them for each appointment. It was absolutely worth it and I would definitely recommend them for tattoo removal, I got my last treatment today and it was hard to see where to point the laser because it is almost completely gone. The staff and Dr. Chavez were always warm and welcoming and I could communicate via text which is amazing.

I'm having a tattoo removal. I'm on my second treatment. Arthur took care of my treatment. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I arrived early to have numbing cream placed on the area. This helped a lot. I've seen other places that charge for this. The office is very comfortable and clean. On every appointment Dr. Chavez has always talked to me before and after. Caring people. I highly recommend this location.

Long, painful process, but we are getting there! Very grateful to Dr. Chavez and her amazing team for customizing my treatments to get me the best results. Still months to go, but someday I will be free of these stupid tattoos. If you are considering tattoo removal, I highly recommend! Dr. Chavez is a real MD. This is not some med spa!

I highly recommend Dr. Chavez and her staff. I just had my third session for removal of a small light blue tattoo and it's nearly gone :-)! The lasers this group uses are top notch. Everyone at ClearWaves is friendly, helpful, and patient to answer any all questions you may have (and I had a ton of questions, I was so nervous). The facility itself is inviting and clean.

I am moving out of state and still working on removing another tattoo-- Dr. Chavez went above and beyond by researching a few places I could potentially go to there. I'm sad to no longer be under their care!

I knew I needed to leave a review as soon as I left ClearWaves. The staff is INCREDIBLE and so kind and friendly and genuinely want to help you. I was given tons of information and checked on lots during the process as laser tattoo removal isn't the most painless thing in the world. Great experience! I had my eyebrows tattooed with permanent cosmetics years ago. I wanted to switch to microblading instead, which I think looks more natural. Clearwaves removed my old eyebrow ink beautifully and carefully. They were professional, friendly and reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend them. Can't wait to go get my microblading done now!

I've reviewed this place before, but somehow my review got deleted? I was seen here a few years ago for acne/acne scarring. I had 6 regenlite lasers, which the doctor should have not allowed me to get since they knew it would not yield any results. I was also on retin-A, which apparently inactivates the laser. Retin A was not on the list of medications to avoid, but I am not a medical professional and like others, may not know what an "anti-inflammatory" is.

But anyway, I'm on my journey again to restore my skin and what I've heard from other places is that clearwaves is way overpriced. Their erbium laser is like 2k for the full face, where at others it's only 950 for the same. I rely on reviews to guide my purchasing decisions and wanted others to be warned that they need to be careful and almost know as much about the treatment as the facility does so you know if its going to work on you.

My experience at ClearWaves has been amazing. I went to ClearWaves to get a cover up tattoo removed. The part of my tattoo that I'm removing is a cover up with layers and layers of ink. They were able to treat the area I wanted without affecting the surrounding tattoo's. I saw incredible results after just one treatment and it keeps progressing every time I go.

They have far surpassed my expectations. I have been to three treatments and the staff is so nice and welcoming they always have a smile on they're faces. Dr. Lauren Chavez is incredibly kind and caring. Whenever I email her a question she always responds within a timely manner which makes me feel like they really care. Im still going in for more treatments and also plan to get another tattoo removed because I'm so happy with the progress of this one. Years ago I started getting treatments here. The results are night and day. the laser treatments work on acne, scars, and oily skin. It was a no brainier when my daughter started to suffer. Totally worth every penny! The results are perfect. My daughters self confidence has improved and her skin looks beautiful. You would never guess from the results how bad her acne was and how much it improved, 100% improvement, and we have even seen her scars lighten and disappear.

She does not have the oiliness she had, it is just amazing. I would recommend anyone who suffers with oily skin or acne to invest in the laser treatment, you will not regret it.

This review is based on customer service, for now. I called this morning on a Saturday. I got a live person! Not only was the live person friendly and awake on a Saturday morning she was upbeat and helpful. I am wits end with my daughter's acne. It was not really a problem in high school but now in college it is out of control. I have been sending creams, sending her to light therapy, pills, etc.

She watches her diet, drinks water, and exercises regularly so what else can be done. She is scheduled to see a dermatologist, but trying to find the right one is a pain. Most dermatologists in Los Lunas and Albuquerque are into the aging factor of skin. Which at 19 is not a problem for her. I know my insurance will not cover this, and the helpful person on the phone mentioned they do not have a dermatologist but they do specialize in helping with acne.

Since my daughter is in school (even this summer) I mentioned that getting up to Albuquerque may be a problem especially when fall semester starts. She stated that it would be no problem. Depending on the consultation, it will be determined if she can visit once a month or every couple of weeks. Much more doable than the light therapy which recommended twice a week!

Not easy with a full time student living in Socorro. So her first appointment is Friday! Imagine that, no long wait! I probably could have gotten an earlier appointment, but she has class all week, so Friday it is. I will update my review later.

I was in Albuquerque for business and went into Clearwaves to try Zerona as a friend was raving about it. After speaking with Dr Chavez about all the options, I tried Vasershape. It worked so well and the experience with the staff was so great that when I returned to DC I sought out a local place and scheduled appointments. Totally different experience, more expensive, extremely uncomfortable and yield little to zero results.

They said try Vanquish, so more money, not uncomfortable, no results. When I was in Albuquerque again, I revisited Clearwaves. Awesome results again and everyone was concerned for my comfort given the unpleasant DC experience. What can I say other than I now travel to Albuquerque for Vasershape, cool sculpting, and Vanquish. The knowledge Dr Chavez and her staff display is awesome.

They are constantly researching, training, and staying up to speed with the latest and greatest technologies. The professionalism and client care is phenomenal; they are kind, caring, and truly interested in getting the best results for each individual. And the best yet, Dr Chavez personally answers emails and phone calls to answer questions and ensure you are fully informed and know the pros and the cons.

Her prices are great too! Seriously, I now travel from DC, a major metropolitan area with lots of options when it comes to these types of services, to go to Clearwaves. They are that great!

My son was treated at ClearWaves in 2006 for severe acne. It was amazing. I believe it took 4 or 6 treatments. He has rarely had even a single pimple in the years since. His skin is very nice looking, he does have some scaring but even the scaring was minimizby the treatments. My daughter may have a tattoo removed and if she does she will probably go here.

On the other hand, I got a quote to remove some cherry angiomas. I then got a quote from my dermatologist. Using the same laser. Clearwaves said it would take at least 4 treatments and was 6x the cost of my dermatologist. I'd also recommend the topical anesthetic for any work you have done. It's an extra charge but well worth it. Really numbs the pain. It's not horribly painful but when they are zapping you 50-100 times in a small area it does sting a lot.
