I see both Dr. Olson and Dr. Miller for my Epilepsy and migraines respectively and they are both the two most compassionate, and understanding doctors I have ever had. They both take the time to thoroughly explain the inner workings of my medical issues and their treatments as well as leave plenty of time to answer any questions I might have. I feel really lucky to have them both as my doctor.
They are both extremely well educated and are up to date on all the latest information and treatments in their field as well. I would hands down recommend either of them to anyone!

I cannot say enough good things about Advanced Neurology, and specifically Dr. Miller. First of all, the front desk staff is so friendly and accommodating whenever I have called to make an appointment. I have been a migraine sufferer for over 10 years and have previously seen 3 neurologists. Recently, I had a 10-day migraine that I could not get rid of, even with my typical prescribed medications.
I called Advanced Neurology in a desperate state and Dr. Miller returned my call that night and let me come in the very next day. She then discussed numerous medication options with me and helped me choose one that she thought would work best for me and gave me samples to try. My migraine is FINALLY gone. Thank you Dr. Miller and Advanced Neurology!

Went for an appointment. saw a doctor. I have been to so many. to one right after the other telling me something different. So finally we will get down to it. explaining to me. but not really sure if I get it all. I am not a dr. but getting a test done all other drs refused to do. Its been so frustrating. I pray this is the one to relieve me of my issues.
I am a little Leary to say the least. Just hope this isnt a waste of money and effort. I will say the front receptionist. is a dud. No personality. No smile. Kinda rude. I would think they would want someone in the front that could be more friendly. Maybe she missed getting her Krispy Kreme donuts this morning.

Here's my experience so far and I have not even gotten in to see a doctor yet. I called 3 months ago to make an appointment. I made the appointment for the end of the October and specified which doctor I wanted to see. Come to find out later that my appointment was made for the end of November. They said they had absolutely no openings before that time and I would have to wait until my appointment time which was on a day, I NEVER make appointments on because my schedule is full oname that day.
Then I called in again to ask a question and found out that I wasn't even getting the doctor I requested. Now I got a call today saying that my appointment has been canceled because the doctor won't be in that day but they could get me in at a time a week earlier that is impossible for me to come. Funny, now all of the sudden, they have appointments available for when the doctor wants to take a day off.
Their receptionist messes up twice and then won't even do anything to make up for her mistakes. Wow, what a way to impress your new clients. It's crazy in the first place that a person has to suffer 3 to 4 months just to see, a neurologist. Wondering what career path you should take? You'll never be out of work.

Dr. Olson is one of the most through and compassionate doctors I've met. She doesn't patronize you like a lot of doctors will. She doesn't dismiss my background as a Navy non - physician health care provider, though I am now retired. She is willing to take the time to explain things, make other consult referals if necessary and she is a pleasant person.
I liked her so much that when my husband needed a neurologist, there was no question about who he should see. He likes her too. She has been very thorough with his case as well.
