In response to a concern that residents of Cleveland's near west side lacked access to primary health care. A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), NFP focuses on providing high quality primary care in a medical home setting. As a community provider, our seven convenient locations offer same day appointments.
Neighborhood Family Practice (NFP) has been serving Cleveland's near west side with quality primary health care for over 40 years. Our mission is to partner with the community for everyone's best health. NFP became a federally qualified health center in 2000. NFP has continued to grow to meet the needs of its urban community and, in 2005, opened its second community health center in the Tremont neighborhood.
Neighborhood Family Practice is honored to have the following members of the board of directors to support the mission and work of the organization to serve our patients, staff and community. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), NFP is required to have the majority of the members of the board of directors be individuals who receive services from our organization. This requirement ensures that we continue to have the needs of our patients at the forefront of how our organization is governed.
Neighborhood Family Practice is a health center with a family practice approach. All of our physicians are board certified in family practice. All medical providers see the entire family (unless noted) and work to identify problems negatively impacting the health status of the family as well as the individual.

Sharon Allen is and was great, she left NFP. I had only came over to NFP with my other Dr Christine Williams from Metro then she left and I had met Sharon she is an ANGEL from God. I now see Jennifer trying to see if she is caring through her practice of medicine. But a side note to the other review listed, it seem like all Doctors with MD on their name are rude.
I went to two different neurologist and they both touched me WITH a metal stick and wrote me 3 prescription for nothing of what I was concerned about, no test ran or anything. Sharon Allen you are MISSED. I pray to see you back in practice soon.

I LOVE SHARON ALLEN SHE WAS THE BEST DOC AT THIS LOCATION! I WILL BE MOVING MY FAMILY TO ANOTHER LOCATION SINCE SHE IS GONE. DOCTOR GARVIN IS A RUDE DISRESPECTFUL HUMAN BEING. ANY DOCTOR WHO WILL SAY DISCOURAGING THINGS TO YOU SHOULD NOT BE A DOC. GRANTED THE TRUTH IS A MUST BUT IM SURE THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO SAY YOUR SON IS OVERWIEGHT ASIDE FROM YOURE KILLING YOUR SON! HE ALSO DOWN TALKS HIS CO WORKERS AND TO ME THATS NOT RIGHT AT ALL. OTHER THAN THAT THE NURSES ARE GREAT THE RECEPTIONISTS ARE AWESOME AND FRIENDLY.

Horrible customer service and half of the staff is unfriendly and unwilling to accommodate requests when issue was caused by their or the physician's error. Also when you have an appointment they may get you into a room quickly but then you wait at least an hour before the physician comes into the room. When requesting refills the patient advocate never sets them for more than 1 refill so you have to call every month.
Also if you need medical records sent to another provider or ask for a copy of your own they will not do it. The sad thing is that only one of the providers is any good and actually cares but the policies NFP has now put in place stops her from providing effective care and truly helping people manage their health.
