Eagle Physicians was founded in 1995 by 5 long-standing and highly-regarded Greensboro primary care medical groups. Healthcare during the 1990's was a changing and challenging landscape, prompting these groups to band together to have a greater voice in and influence of the kind of health care they wanted to provide to their patients.
Many different hormones within your body are catalysts for chemical changes in your cells. These are necessary for growth, development and energy production. Sometimes these hormones become unbalanced. That's when our endocrinologist steps in. Eagle's board-certified endocrinologist, Dr. Jeffrey Kerr, is trained to recognize hormone problems and provide treatment for a wide range of disorders of the endocrine system. These include thyroid disorders, thyroid cancers, pituitary disorders, diabetes and osteoporosis.
When you need comprehensive medical care for a newborn, children and adult family members of all ages, look to Eagle Family Medicine physicians. Here at your Patient Centered Medical Home your doctor delivers preventive medicine, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic disorders, flu shots and other immunizations, performs minor surgical procedures and overall planning for a healthy future.
Digestive problems such as diarrhea and constipation can be embarrassing and difficult to talk about comfortably, even with your doctor. The experienced, board-certified gastroenterologists at Eagle Gastroenterology understand that this is a sensitive medical area and have created an atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and are well-informed about their conditions.

As a new patient of Eagle Physicians in January of last year, I was hopeful I would get the medical answers and care that I needed. I was dealing with a salmonella infection that turned into a severe case in which I was bed-ridden for 3+ months and was physically ill for 8+ months. My primary doctor at Eagle did not properly test, diagnose, or treat me based on my symptoms.
At times, the doctor treated me as though I had a phantom illness and, at one point, even tried to make light of my illness by asking if maybe I had "cold intolerance." (An insult to what I was suffering through!) I had to search outside of the state for answers-this is when I learned I was experiencing a bad case of salmonella-and get the help I desperately needed.
At that point, I was no longer physically able to work and had to quit my job. I suffered for months because of Eagle's negligence and, on top of this, Eagle billed me an outrageous amount (even with insurance) for the "care" they provided. The only positive experience I had at Eagle was with Dr. Buccini at their gastroenterologist office. Dr. Buccini was incredibly empathetic and took my symptoms seriously; he provided me with a treatment plan that helped ease my symptoms long-term.
I'm grateful for his care. However, since my primary doctor didn't refer me to a gastroenterologist and I made the appointment myself, the visit ended up being costly-and, as a forewarning to others, the billing department is next to useless if you need to set up a reasonable payment plan. Also, for those who may need financial assistance, the Eagle Billing Department claims there is no financial aid available for those without a source of income and their assistance for patients without health insurance is minimal.
Like I told the receptionist in the billing department over the phone this morning, Eagle Physicians should implement a financial aid program for those that need it; their failure to find ways to help patients in need reveals Eagle is not a practice dedicated to helping patients get the care they deserve. I lost nearly a year of my life due to improper care and treatment. Eagle Physicians is responsible for the way my illness has drawn out.

They just sent me a whole NEW bill in the mail after sending me to or collections of $500 because I didn't pay June payments turns out I did. So they 'took me out' send me a new bill of $250 then a week later tells me they can waive the pre collect fees if I pay my $400 balance. They send me a new bill in the mail of $416.16. Wow!

Poor service. Poor management. I have been a patient here for years and seen several providers from different Eagle offices. In the past few years their service has really gone down. They say patient focused, but I believe it is provider focused. Care seems awfully outdated as well and unorganized. Such a shame.

Was a prior patient and they refused to treat me for a cough. Even though I came in with the same symptoms a month ago and they had no problem with it. My symptoms had not improved, but they refused to see me for follow-up appointment. If they had a change in their policy, they should have relayed that to their patients. I understand the risks of COVID-19, but they should be upfront with their patients.
I would not recommend going here as any symptom related to COVID-19 they will not treat anymore. I will be going to new doctors office where they actually care about their patients.
