Many people prefer to wear contacts instead of eyeglasses. Luckily, as advances are made in the optometry field, more and more people are able to wear contacts to improve their vision. We understand that your first visit to the eye doctor can feel overwhelming and we try to accommodate all new patients with a comfortable and organized facility. Meet Clarifye at Fox Eye Care, whose initial measurement is so precise it helps reduce the guesswork of "which is better?" Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor.

Another great experience with Fox Eye Group. Front office personnel very nice and professional. They explained all costs and insurance plan changes. The technician was very nice and professional, even in the "torcher chamber", LOL Not a real fan of the machine that blows in your eye. The best Eye Doctor in the triangle Doctor Mike.

Keisha Smith at the Fox Eye Care in Hanes Mall in Greensboro, North Carolina was rude, had an attitude and rushed me during the exam. She flipped the slides too quickly for my eyes to adjust and groaned when I took 'too long.' I left with the wrong prescription. I will be headed to another eye doctor in the future.

This place is uninformed and simply all about business they don't care about you as a patient or customer quick to rush you off the doc calls having a conversation with you arguing and simply don't have to time to deal with any of your issues, I will never go back there ever, paid for eye exam for nothing and didn't even get contacts or glasses. They need to disclose all the information before they start, all this is new to me I have live 33 years without glasses so I don't know how anything goes and nothing was ever explained.

My appointment was scheduled at 4:20. I ended up having to reschedule because I had to leave at 5:45 to pick up my child by 6:00. I was never seen by the dr. At my rescheduled appointment the doctor told me that I will need bifocals by the age 40 & that my eyes are just going to continue to get worse. I know plenty of people 40 & beyond that don't need bifocals including my parents. Regardless of rather or not that's true I thought his overall demeanor was negative & unpleasant.

DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE. They quoted me a price. I questioned them on it because I knew that wasn't how my insurance worked. They assured me I was wrong and they were correct. I allowed them to do the service. Then they billed me an additional $146.80 saying insurance had not paid the rest of the bill. Their mistake, but they want me to pay for it.

Staff was friendly enough, but I did not get a chance to see the doctor. This is an office that even with insurance requires your normal copay, a contact fitting fee even if you only want a prescription. and NOW they are requiring a MANDATORY retinal imaging that will cost an extra $39, even more if you don't have insurance. For an exam that was supposed to cost $40, they were going to charge around $100. Be sure you get clear on all their EXTRA fees before going here. Unethical practices in my opinion! I walked out and won't be back!

A few months ago I went to Wal mart to buy contacts. Lo and behold my prescription expired two days before. I reduced myself to a child begging for candy. Just let me buy one box. No way man! A yearly exam is 100 bucks. So I threw on the coke bottles for a while. Well the older I get the fatter my face gets and my glasses are irritating my temples.
The only place open on Sat is Fox and they take my insurance. I was determined not to get dilated as I had work to do that day. After being talked into dilation I was talked into buying astigmatism contacts. Sixty bucks/box as opposed to the Wal mart price of 15 dollars for regular acue vue. The bill was 109 bucks.? I have insurance I said. Yes, there is a sitting fee.
What the hell is a sitting fee? So with insurance you are nine bucks higher than Wal mart? O and the promise of the dilation wearing off in an hour took six hours. They did offer me those square plastic sunglasses. Not that old yet. Going back for a FREE follow up exam next Sat. Wish I could tell them what I think of them but Ill just say thank you maam and go to Wal mart next year.
