Midwest Pain Clinics - John Cook

I've been going to MPC in Omaha since the beginning of 2019 for severe back pain among other things. Dr. Krezja, Ashley Homan, NP and the entirety of their staff have always been absolutely wonderful! They have always been accommodating of my schedule and super mindful of any requests or input I may have as far as my care and pain management plan goes. Also, they always listen to what I have to say about my pain and you can tell they really care because they're always willing to go above and beyond to find you the best pain relief options specifically for you for that specific issue you may be suffering from.

There is another location closer to where I live, however I'm willing to drive the longer distance and fight through Omaha traffic simply because of the quality of care I have received at this establishment from my providers and the other staff employed at this location. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

I had several physicians that treated as if I was a number. I felt like I was being compared to everyone else. Then my primary physician told me about Dr Balter at Midwest Pain Management. She said she would not send me to anyone else. From the 1st visit on I was treated with dignity, compassion with a level of care that was exemplary.

I've been a patient at Midwest Pain Clinics for nearly a decade. Throughout all of those years, I've had the opportunity to get to know many of the doctors on staff as well as the nurses, nurse practitioners, and the receptionists. I can genuinely say that nearly all of the staff members go above and beyond when it comes to patient care. The receptionists are incredibly personable and always greet patients with a smile and positive attitude.

They are, by far, some of the most helpful and courteous receptionists I've ever encountered at any healthcare clinic. The same can be said for the nurses - I personally see Lisa at each of my monthly appointments and she is an absolute delight. Her expertise, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond are only but a few reasons why I sincerely enjoy seeing her at every appointment and why she deserves more recognition for her extraordinary service and performance of her job.

The doctors at Midwest Pain Clinic deserve tremendous recognition as well for their devotion, professionalism, and hospitality when dealing with their patients. I was a patient of Dr. Cook until he retired last year and his presence is truly missed. I am now currently a patient of Dr. Vanhoozer and I sincerely feel very lucky to be her patient. She is one of the most outstanding, kindest, knowledgeable and supportive doctors that I've ever met. Words fail to describe just how satisfied I am to be a patient at Midwest Pain Clinic and how each and every staff member goes above and beyond to offer extraordinary and outstanding care.

To anyone seeking health care and pain management treatment from a truly knowledgeable and supportive staff, I *highly* recommend scheduling a consultation appointment and meet the incredible staff and discuss their extremely expansive multitude of different types of treatments and procedures. They have certainly changed my life and I highly recommend them for anyone in need of treatment options for chronic pain.

And as I stated previously, the entire staff deserves far more recognition for their outstanding service than they receive. I hope this review gives back just a little of the kindness and consistent amazing service that they've shown me for nearly a decade. Thank you to the entire staff at Midwest Pain Clinic!

The pain specialist at this office are amazing. The staff were very professional and providing a friendly environment. I was very impressed by how knowledgeable my doctor was and the level of care they immediately provided for me. I recommend this clinic to anyone who reads this and even have convinced my family members with similar situations to switch to this office.

I have had pretty good results at the Pain Clinic I believe in my doctor's ability and her capacity of trusting her decisions and judgment that she makes concerning my health. She is caring very concerned about how I'm feeling? I trust her judgement completely.

This was the worst medical experience of my life! I only saw the doctor for 5 minutes, and in that time he insulted me twice and tried to talk me into surgery! I wouldn't let this guy cut my toenails yet alone my back or hands! He treated me this way even after receiving a glowing referral from my pain doctor back in my home state! I dealt almost exclusively with a NP, and she had a mask on and an accent that I couldn't understand! I would give them zero stars if I could!

All the staff from the front desk, to the Dr's, and Practitioners are thoroughly trained, and competent. If you go in with an open mind to various treatments to help deal with your medical issue, than you can have a good outcome. I have never had a bad experience collaborating with this clinic in my medical care, and getting back on my feet, living the best life I can. They helped me achieve a better quality of life mentally, and physically. Thank you MPC.

They are the first pain specialist who has genuinely thought they could finally help me and the time they took with me made me feel like I was their only patient. I will always go back to them. Even the doctor called me personally to tell me what was happening with insurance. Highly recommend!

Stephanie is the greatest. She listens and is willing to discuss your health and what may or may not be good for you. She doesn't push anything on you but gives you your alternatives. She doesn't make you feel "less than" as other doctors might do.

I've been going to Midwest Pain for many years and I'm really happy with all the care I've received throughout the years. My back pain has eased so much I can lead a semi active life. I see Ashley and we are working to get me off meds that aren't right for me. You have to work with them and sometimes it isn't easy but so worth it as the time passes and you get your life back.

Why do you take down peoples reviews that you don't like? Isn't that what reviews of your business is for!? To warn others?
