We at PAHP recognize these unprecedented circumstances and are excited to enhance our capabilities by expanding the avenues we connect with patients. For best practices and procedures, PAHP is your trusted resource to remain healthy and how to navigate testing and treatment if necessary. Please join us in extending our eternal gratitude, appreciation and love for one of Pediatric & Adolescent Health Partners' finest, Dr. Joel Everett, who will be retiring this summer!Dr. Everett joined PAHP almost 38 years ago and has provided exceptional care to thousands of patients.
Services
The team at Pediatric & Adolescent Health Partners is pleased to announce that we now have a secure online bill pay option available to our patients! Sarah (Dunn) Trezza, PA-C, was born and raised in Chesterfield County, Virginia, and graduated from James River High School. She was a State Champion Field Hockey player, and also played basketball and softball for James River High School.
Our Midlothian Office also provides three waiting rooms for our patients: a Well Child Waiting Room, an Adolescent Waiting Room and a Sick Child Waiting Room. Our providers believe that adequate time must be available to meet the needs of our patients at each appointment. To meet that belief, we have provided longer visit times than the recommended times for visits by the American Academy of Pediatrics. If you believe you will need even more time for a visit, please advise the receptionist when making an appointment.
Our providers are trained to take care for children and youth of all ages, from birth through puberty and into young adulthood. All are experienced in well child care and pride themselves on providing not only good medical care but anticipatory care, developmental screening, patient and parent education.
Office visits are scheduled on an appointment basis. We request that you please call for an appointment prior to coming to the office. Each child must have their own appointment time, so please remember to schedule an appointment for any siblings you feel need to be seen. This is done in effort to decrease patient wait times and to ensure prompt service.

We love this practice, Dr. Henderson and Tracie Abrams (LC)! They are good listeners, are extremely personable and genuine, and go above and beyond to care for our two boys (3 years old and 6 months old). We are grateful to have such excellent care so close to home in the village of MIdlothian.

I have brought my daughter to this practice since we moved to Virginia almost 4 years ago, and I am glad that I chose this office. The staff and her doctor have always been nothing but amazing, and they truly do go the extra mile! I highly recommend

I have been with this practice technically for 32 years. This was my own pediatrics office all through my childhood and adolescents- I LOVED it, I always felt heard and so comfortable, so naturally when I was pregnant with my first child I didn't hesitate as to where my child would be in the BEST hands. My husband and I attended the new parents meeting group where we met with Dr. Henderson and Dustin.

We chose Dr. Henderson as our primary pediatrician. He has been nothing but professional, caring, informative, compassionate, and reassuring no matter what season of life we were going through with our kids or family. We have seen many other doctors there and have never had a bad experience. I would, and have recommended this practice to many people and will continue to do so.

I wish we could give 0 stars. We brought our son here and had the absolute worst experience you could possibly have. To start, the doctor never listened to a word we said. Because of this our sons tongue tie went undiagnosed even though we complained about problems feeding every visit. We were told to not worry that everything was normal, until at around 6 and a half months he saw someone else at the practice who said he had a very bad tongue tie.

This delayed him starting solid foods, so pretty bad for him to miss it with all our concerns we voiced to him. Our final straw was actual his vaccinations. He was due for a second dose of one of them that needed to be done by a certain date. They kept saying they couldn't schedule due to computers being down and finally we get to the week of it being due and they still hadn't called us back after leaving many messages for nurses/scheduling.

We ended up having to call Huguenot Pediatrics who fit him in the same week for his follow up vaccinations. When asked to fax records they didn't, and instead told us we had to pay 25 dollars to have our sons records given to us. Overall I would highly recommend keeping your child out of this practice if you want quality care from people who listen to your concerns.

I forgot to add when our son had covid (our daughter brought it home from school) and we brought him there, they had us come inside even though we kept saying he was exposed to covid. After the positive test they freaked out that we were inside like we did something horrible. We told them we were told to come in despite our concern of covid and they were shocked the receptionist asked us to but luckily changed their attitude and got upset with the receptionist.

I went to this practice when I was a child. I am now 36. Always had a great experience. I knew when I had children that my kids would go there. Both daughters 6 and 4 love their provider Dr. Mason.

Both of my girls see Dr. Henderson and we absolutely love him and his approach to medicine. He's very thorough, always available to answer questions, and we feel like he cares about the girls more than just "patients" but truly enjoys seeing them grow and meet milestones. My two year old even plays "Dr Ted" at home when she checks our heartbeats and gives us shots.

I most appreciate that he's never rushed to diagnosis something and to dispense medicine like antibiotics just for the sake of getting us out the door so I can whole heartedly trust his judgement when he does prescribe something. We've seen several other doctors and PAs at the practice for various sick visits and have never had a bad experience with any of them.

We have been patients at this practice for over 20 years with 4 kids. As they get older and begin to age out I worry we won't find a practice to even compare to the level and quality of care we have received here from the people that answer the phone, physicians, nurses, checkout, and even billing. I have had healthy kids and medically complex kids from asthma to drug addiction and every time I call I have received thorough care, concern, and attention.

The reception staff - Traci and Stephanie take time to listen and address you in the best way possible returning calls when they say and leaving no stone unturned. I have felt heard with each doctor we have seen and every issue always addressed. As a young mother and through out when I knew I was blowing it I was never made to feel like I didn't know what I was doing or looked down on. I hope to see my grandchildren at this practice and so on. Thanks for an amazing 20 years, these next 4 will be very bittersweet.

We absolutely love PAHP! I went there my entire childhood (33 years old now) and confidently chose this practice for my son. He is now 2 and a half and I am so happy with our decision! We love Dr. Henderson. He goes above and beyond and really cares about his patients. :)

Poor and unhelpful service! They would rather not help sick patients as no triage nurse is ever working (via pre-recorded phone message) and staff do not make very sick children a priority. Many days they are short staffed doctors and nurses. Why would a large practice lack a doctor at the Mildothian and Powhatan offices and only staff a PA or RN? Receptionists screen calls too much and are not helpful.

If you call after 4 noone will pick up the phone! Phones are switched over to voice mail. It is poorly run and short staffed. I do not recommend this practice for its lack of attention to children who have chronic conditions and need more immediate care. Due to lack of attention, this practice has made serious mistakes in care that have had serious medical consequences.
