Services
Clinica Family Health is a community health center, a medical safety net for those who otherwise might fall through the cracks of the American health care system. For more than 40 years, Clinica has existed to provide health care to the individuals and families in our community at a price they can afford.
These cost estimates, also called Good Faith Estimates (GFEs), summarize a patient's total out-of-pocket expenses for the care they will receive at the specified appointment. GFEs must be provided to qualifying patients who schedule an appointment at least three business days in advance or to any patient specifically requesting a GFE.
Clinica Family Health offers high quality full-service primary care for patients of all ages, women's care, prenatal care, pediatric care, care for seniors, mental health services, nutrition services and a full-service pharmacy. We also offer enrolled patients with preventive and restorative dental care.
Please note, you must be enrolled as a current medical patient with Clinica in order to use our pharmacies & medication outlets. For your convenience, we have full pharmacies at our Pecos and People's clinic locations with pharmacists available to fill prescriptions and answer questions. Our Thornton and Lafayette clinics both have medication outlets where patients can pick up prescriptions.

Both my husband and I have had great experiences at Clinica family health. We've seen a few different drs and their mental health counselor and everyone has been amazing. I've never had a PCP who brought in a therapist before but I think it was a great addition to our already awesome experience. All the nurses are efficient and kind as well. I would highly recommend this team.

I have been a patient here for over a year and gone to 3 visits. On my first physical exam I was shocked to learn that each of my health concerns could not be expressed without scheduling future visits. (Greedy money grabbers) After spending most of my 20 minutes explaining my previous surgeries (wasting my time informing my doctor information that I have given to them on every visit and authorized them to have access to), my primary care left the room and had a nurse return to give me my shots.
I asked her if I could finish talking to my Doctor about some skin issues I was noticing and numbness in my middle finger I have had for a week after a CT scan. She informed me each patient only received 20 minutes attention and 2 issues to address. Furthermore after 3 visits they had checked my blood pressure twice. The first a year ago (136/88) which is normal for me on my medication.
The second was 3 weeks ago and the nurse took my BP over my sweatshirt with my arm extended out straight to the side (102/81). I expressed my concern with the nurses technique, but was ignored by the doctor. On my last visit the nurse didn't even take my BP, but the doctor informed me it was looking great and wanted to change my medication and return to it check it again in a month. (I'm guessing so she can get the kick back from the pharmaceutical company rather than my previous Doctor) I used to feel like my Doctor genuinely cared about my health.
Here they just care about how many trips they can get you to make through the door! The Doctors at Clinica do not take the HIPPOCRATIC OATH, their nurses are not trained and will falsify info to cover their ineptitude, and after any visit they will schedule 2 more appointments for you without asking just so you really feel frustrated, angry, and used! I have to find a new medical practice.
