I love Dr Astani and my LASIK was awesome. The wait times during appointments are an absolute killer! I've waited for over 2 hours for a total of 15 minutes with a person (meaning a nurse or doctor). In between you sit. Thinking my goodness I have so much work to do but I'm sitting here.waiting. Either way Lasik makes it worth it.

Worse place ever. Would not recommend anyone to go here for anything Took my mother there. Arrived at 1:00pm for what we thought was here cataract surgery at 1:40pm. Two hrs later all they did was the eyes test they already done and wanted to schedule the surgery which the lady that called for this date never said anything about retesting again but told us this was for surgery. Need to learn to communicate better on phone also in person. We walked out and will never go back.

You can trust Dr. Dan Langley for the best possible experience and results. He is wonderful! I had LASIK surgery 4 days ago. I was nervous going into surgery, for the same reason everyone is. you only get one set of eyes! So initially it was intimidating, especially since I had dry eye issues before. My prescription was -4.75. I am so pleasantly happy to say, I have the best possible results!
I was seeing 20/10 the day after surgery. I truly feel like the quality of my life has gone up so much. I am SO happy. I can see colors and objects at a distance and close up so vibrantly. Also, Dr. Langley as a person is amazing. He makes you feel super relaxed and at ease, during the surgery he spoke gently and sweet. Also, I am thankful for Dr. Ryan Swindell, he made sure my eyes were in the best possible condition going into surgery.
I had experienced dry eyes prior to surgery, he had my best interest at heart to wait until the time was right, after using drops and giving my eyes time to heal, he made sure my eyes were at their healthiest. He did not rush or push the surgery. Which was so comforting! I am so thankful for you both. I am telling everyone they have to go to TLC for LASIK!

Would give 0 stars if it let me. Daughter had PRK with Dr. Williams. Paid $3,895 of her hard earned money to still need glasses. The man told her at her pre op that he saw "no reason" why she couldn't see 20/20 after surgery. She had extreme light sensitive and discomfort for 2 weeks. They get you in and out quick before surgery, after you easily wait 2 hours in the lobby before you're seen.
His solution was to suggest she wait 6-12 months and then have the awful surgery again. They didn't even give her pain medication the first time, why would she put herself through that again? Horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend then to an enemy!

First the suggestions. The Lobby// Black floors dark dark chairs. Medium brown brick wall. Dark gray behind the check in area. Folks come here with seeing issues! Lobby needs a 2022 bright color makeover. 250 gallon fish tank in lobby is a waste of $$$ and it boring to look at. Hardly any fish in it. Secondly, I get an appointment reminder card, , then emails, then text messages and finally phone calls for appointment reminders! Really!
This is Way over the top. Frankly it drives me crazy. Lastly: don't ask me to arrive 30 minutes early before my appointment for a PRK or any other appointment and leave me sitting well after the appointment time. At times they have to much gossip chit chat in lobby area or the PRK room area. Lacking some sense at times of a professional clinical environment. Overall Very good staff here at this facility. Courteous and smart. The doctors I have used all good.

I brought a family friend up here. His appointment time was at 1:45, he checked in at 1:15, and it's 4:20 and we're still sitting here waiting on him. When we asked how much longer it would be, they just said not sure. We didn't get any updates or anything. I would be more understanding if he was having a procedure, but this is just the consultation.
This place is busy so I understood a little bit of a wait, but this much of a wait is unnecessary. The girls at the front desk don't want to get up and figure out any information or anything. If you come here be prepared for a really long wait, bring snacks, phone, book, maybe even a blanket and pillow to nap while waiting!

Was not impressed. Dr. Langley wore what I considered to be very expensive clown clothes to my appointments. Was in a hurry each time to leave the room. I could see better with my cataracts than I can now! I specifically requested to be able to see far distances with my left eye. After my surgery from two years ago, the TV pictures across my small living area are extremely fuzzy with my left eye and I cannot read printed messages on the screen.
This was a regular Medicare lense. I opted for more expensive lens (mid price) for my right eye but feel it was a waste of money also even though I can slightly see further with it but printed messages on the TV screen are double but somewhat readable. I have to wear contacts or glasses now for everything! Would not use Dr. Langley again at all. Glad some of his patients had better outcomes. He didn't even want to talk to me about my displeasure!

The 1st time I went there I was treated delightfully. Since then however, things have changed. I have given them a try again, it feels like a total cattle call when I go there. Dr Langley was cheerful, excited, happy to help, then when I was approved for surgery, with a different doctor in the practice, everything changed. My assumption is they 1 pseudo tumor cerebri check up a year must not bring in enough money to get the star treatment.
Last time I was there the beautiful fish tank was no longer beautiful. It was brown and dead much like Dr. Langley's uncharacteristic demeanor. He was late by 1 hour, he was curt, he never smiled, he acted like I was a burden to him. His assistant was kind. Now, a yr has passed and I am being relentlessly pursued & harrassed by calls, not only during normal business hours, but, at 10:20 am on NEW YEARS EVE, & a phone call at 10:20 SUNDAY MORNING Jan 2nd!
What is wrong with these people? I actually called their business line at 10:30 this am because I figured there must be an emergency if they r calling on a Sunday norning during a holiday weekend, right?.I left a message with service, then, 10 mins later.they called again! 2 calls from an automated service b4 11am on Sun with a complaint in between. Desperation & harrassment do not reflect well on your business.

Absolute pleasure! I have to say from the very first moment that I entered the office, to the very few minutes I had to barely wait to be seen on a eye injury not to mention they had short notice between the call from my doctor BTW that office visit (2hrs) & not much sense of emergency on their part and my arrival late in the same day to Eye Care Associates.
I was rushed in and taken care of as if I was a existing platinum member patient. It is very refreshing to know this level of treatment if even around as this point so they actually deserve more than 5 stars. I am also thrilled that I have a replacement for my recent Eye doctor. Dr. Ryan Swindell and all the staff clearly makes your vision a top priority!
