My children have seen Dr. Moussa and her colleagues for more than a decade. In that time, the practice has consistently been responsive to our concerns about our children, willing to work with us to find an appointment, and informed about research-based best practices for pediatrics. I have also appreciated how the practice has weathered the Covid pandemic, again using current, scientific research as the guide for its recommendations.
We are grateful for this practice, and for Dr. Moussa in particular-she is an incredibly kind, perceptive, and intelligent practitioner. She is an important member of the village we rely on in raising our children, and I can not imagine a better pediatrician match for our family.

I love Catalina Pediatrics my kids have been here for years. However, my recent visit with the nurse Stacey has not been in the least a positive one. She came into the room was very short, rude, belittling, and never acknowledged my kids. In a pediatric office you expect courtesy, friendliness, and someone who gets children. She may be knowledgeable but lacks good beside manner when it comes to kids.
I love the rest of the staff, Gloria at check-in is wonderful, the physicians are super good, and the MA's are great too. All in all it's a great practice with one exception.

I have a son with behavioral concerns and developmental delays. They don't seem to have any compassion or empathy. Yes, Dr. Johnson is polite but not helpful. He doesn't ask questions, just seems to want to move to the next patient. The med assistant was cold when giving a shot and seemed annoyed. She didn't even tell my son good job or interact in a kind way when my son way clearly scared (as to be expected). It's been a cold experience the last 2-3 times. I'm going elsewhere.

My children and I have been very thankful for Catalina Pediatrics the past 4 years. All the doctors have been great. Dr. Goldberg has been awesome, with the exception of the last visit, when he matter of factly told us we would have to find another doctor if we chose not to receive all vaccinations. My 10 year old son tried to share his concerns about vaccines, but was discounted as being unwise for not "trusting science".
I felt so sorry for my children and was saddened by Dr. Goldberg's careless response. Clearly, he thinks he is right, but it's still sad that he did not express care or concern for my children's feelings/beliefs. My children are aware that the Covid shot is experimental and do not want to be part of the experiment, especially when it goes against their conscience.
Common sense tells them things are not right. We have done research and read the accounts of many who have suffered on account of this shot. We are aware of the cover-ups, the lies and the propaganda. We will find a practice that allows for freedom of choice.

We chose Catalina Peds 12 years ago and have loved them since day one. We have seen most the doctors there and loved them all. Our Dr is so great about including us in the decision process and discussing our concerns and care of our children. I have recommended Catalina Peds to anyone who asks. It is a far drive from our home, but the care we receive is totally worth it.

I would give the Dr's 5 stars for sure but front staff is very rude. I called last week becuase my 6 month old was sick and had many symptoms. Alicia I think was her name answered the phone and while I was explaining to her why I was calling she cut me off and said "Date of birth" I told her and then she had the gaul to say "what is she being seen for"?
Hello if she wasn't so rude and didnt' cut me off she would have known. This is not the first time she has been rude. In face everytime I call staff is rude and when I go in lady at the front is not very pleasant either. Does not greet you when you come in or aknowledge you when you leave. Just very unfriendly and I have 4 kids that go to that office. If it wasn't for Dr. Lloyd. I would take my children elsewhere - It is simply not ok for staff to act that way!

Highly recommend this practice, especially Dr. Goldberg! We moved here (with our elementary aged kids) from the Midwest a few years ago, and have been unable to find a pediatrician to replace the beloved doctor we had when the kids were small. We tried another group practice, which was just "meh.it's ok". My 11yo twins were overdue for a checkup, and due for some routine immunizations so we thought we'd give Catalina Pediatrics a try.
Staff was good. Front desk was polite and efficient when I called to make an appointment, and the same at check-in. The assistants were good as well- friendly and polite, vaccinations went very smoothly, and they were happy to print copies of any records/paperwork I needed. Office is spacious and clean- as one would expect. Dr. Goldberg was absolutely GREAT with my tweens- super energetic, friendly, and did not seem rushed at all.
He was very engaging and spent time chatting with the kids about sports and school which really set them at ease. I think we've finally found a great Ped in Tucson! Highly recommend!

I have been going here for 16 years. I would give 5 stars to the Dr's and the back medical staff, they are amazing. You have to decide if its worth it to put up with the RUDE office staff, which has been very consistent with my 16 years of going. I have finally just gotten fed up with them ignoring you as you wait to check out and then not saying anything as you state your needs.
Not even a "How can I help you?" "Or a have a nice day." Or how about a "Bye". That would even be nice. My teen even said, "Boy mom, they're rude." As parents we know teens KNOW rude behavior. I have gone here since my kids were babies and with corona I only go in when telemedicine or the on-call nurse my insurance offers can't help. Doctors are 5 plus, you decide if you want to deal with the rest.

This is where I took my son for the first year and a half of his life until we moved to Kansas. Dr Johnson and the rest of the staff at Catalina Pediatrics are all very kind and professional. They took great care of my son and gave me good information every time I went there. One of the hardest things about moving to another state was finding a pediatrician as good as they were. I would recommend this team 100% and have given many parents their information before.

Doctor Goldberg is our doctor, he is fantastic ( even if our daughter is overly shy/intimidated by him). He is kind, compassionate, understanding and doesn't BS. As a new parent, having many new experiences, I appreciate this and find it comforting. We started coming to Catalina Pediatrics in 2017. When we were admitted to TMC we didn't have a pediatrician lined up.
As a first time mom I didnt even know where to begin. Our nurse handed us a list of local pediatricians and HIGHLY recommend Catalina Pediatrics, more specifically Dr. Goldberg.so that's the story of that. Here we are 2+years later and we have had only positive experiences and things to say. I have referred this office and its doctors to family and friends.
We love the staff and all of the doctors we've seen (and talked to during late night panics). Here's a cute story.because I am that mom. After our last visit, I asked my daughter why she was afraid of her doctor. She replied, "doctor said no more jumping on the bed" (note: not once during our visit did he say that). So, she was afraid he would put a limit on her bed jumping.
