First Care Family Practice

I have been trying to get a refill on my medication for 2 weeks. Last month it took 10 days. No follow up phone calls, nothing. Today I have called 3 times and I am on hold as I write this. This morning I was assured that a manager "Amanda" and "Lindsey" would get on it. That was 9am this morning. I called Wednesday and left a message for Nicole Turner Wednesday and still have not heard back. Absolutely Horrible.

This was my intake visit as a new patient. The registration process based upon my observation of other patients is very efficient! I also appreciated that there wasn't further wait time once my name was called and I was taken to the service room where my vitals were checked, medical individual and family history was reviewed. My assigned PCP came in practically right after the intake nurse "Felicia" was finished.

Myself and my children have been going there for about 6 yrs. It's a doctor's office. Yes the wait can be long, what's new. But when you have great doctors who take their time with their patients it's a given. My biggest complaints would be getting anybody on the phone and referrals take forever if they get done.

I have been a patient at this location for over 20 years. My daughters ( 5 ) now my 2 grandchildren as well. The office staff has changed drastically and the service received. The wait times have been awful before the pandemic started. Most times the appointments are over booked seems like with wait times being behind 2/3 hours. After noticing how short staffed and I'm sure it's plenty of staffing agencies with people ready to work and fill in.

The pediatric side of the office is boring and also short staffed. Also it needs a good cleaning throughout the whole entire group/ office. You can definitely tell the presence of new owners which I found out the office merged with a company. The labs department is definitely suffering with only one person working days alone and no office manager to assist.

I don't feel nobody cares in the office anymore because the lack of attention to medical concerns and or treatment. I myself have been scheduled for telemedicine appointments which never happened. Medication refills and other needs aren't addressed in the allotted time frame as promised. I can go on all day with concerts I have but the moral of the story is. Medical schools and staffing agencies have people ready to work everyday. This office needs to think about staffing instead of being under staffed.

Telehealth is so easy. The people who call to do phone check ins are very nice. And it feels like it is so much quicker being able to do it at home while still seeing the doctor's face. I'm able to express my concerns and feel like I'm getting the full attention I need going to doctors, but I get to stay home. The video quality is excellent and it is just so easy, it's a stress reliever!

First time visit. Friendly staff. Didn't wait long at all. Nurse Mrs. April was warm, welcoming, and has a great Aura and a way with children. Dr. Madodi was awesome and very thorough. We had a great experience.

First time visiting Dr Hunt and Victoria. I was going to intercostal for 7 years, Kara was my PA, She was great. I visited my new Dr was not impressed at all. Been taking the same medication for years and now he wants to change everything. I am 54 I kinda know my body and what works for me. Went to Dr Hunt for the first time, He listened to what I had to say without giving me a lecture professional with no bull, Victoria was great. I will be going again. Five star Dr and Nurse. *****

I've been a patient here for about 15 years, give or take and always had exceptional service, referred many people to FCP Arlington location. However after my last visit one month ago today (1/7/22) it has proven absolutely impossible to have a simple referral faxed to the appropriate doctor, and also impossible to get anyone on the phone in the referrals department.

As I type this review, I'm on hold (20 minutes so far) after calling Friday and leaving a message and submitting an online contact form on Friday as well. Extremely disappointed and will begin the search for a new PCP.

Needed help without appointment with upper Respiratory lung infection & also, Covid. They gave me a video call with Dr. Anderson & he was great & got me medicine I really needed. Thank you so much! A plus service;

Dr. Hunt and his team are very professional, polite and concerned about you and your medical as a individual. Well knowledgeable and listens yo your concerns. What he not able to do he refers you to sunshine who can. He explains your medical situations in a term where you understand. I would definitely recommend him.

Kameron was very thorough with his exam and made me feel comfortable. He answered my questions about a covid booster and my request for a tetanus shot.

I had a great visit yesterday with Dr. J and her assistant. I've been a patient for 30 years, but have not been in a few years. I wanted a physical and to check all the important markers for my age like thyroid, hormones, etc. I also have injured my shoulder and wanted a referral. She was very nice and thorough. She listens and takes notes. She did an adjustment on my neck and shoulder right then. I was able to get a Chest X-ray the same day also. Very convenient to have X-rays and labs on site! Doctors are great, if you can get someone on the phone to schedule. ALL of the office staff absolutely refuse to answer andy calls no matter which option you push, 4 days i spent on hold my entire lunch break, and when they finally did answer it was, let me transfer you and slammed the phone down as they hing up on me.

I would never ever recommend this practice. Though doctors are humble and listen to your needs the staff is so unprofessional beyond words. They lack respect for the patient. They never listen to you. They say they will call you but they never do. Getting ahold of your doctor is almost impossible. I'm praying for this place to close. The level of stress I experience every time I need to contact them doesn't pay off.

They put you on hold or mute or simply they yell at you over the phone. I feel aggravated. I see a lot of discrimination here towards me. If this continues I will certainly file for a lawsuit for discrimination. I only have good words for my doctor but the staff is the worst.

The Dr and office staff is great. There referral system would get 0 stars. Been trying for 5 months to get a referral to see a Endocrinologist. The specialist keeps sending back they need more blood work than what Family Care sent. And due to all the buffers the PCP never gets that info. Now I have a growth on my thyroid and still waiting on Family Care to get the required info to the specialist.

They were quick and very friendly from the front to the back! Dr. Hunt made me feel comfortable talking to him, his nurse Victoria is very friendly and thorough. And when she gave me my flu shot I did not feel a thing! I Would definitely recommend this office!

Everyone at this Care Center is helpful, warm, and genuinely caring. They had me checked in promptly and my Physician Dr. Hunt, is straight forward and interested in what I had concerns about my care. Not dismissive as some Doctors can be! Dr. Hunt is my primary, but when I was experiencing Vertigo and an ear ache I saw Dr. Shindler, and she was amazing too! I will always return there with any medical needs! Love this family care center!
